Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - Powder Pink

I use this as a blush- and it is my favourite cream blush ... I have never tried this on my lips, and probably will not. It is has a good consistency and is easy to apply. It is not oily and does not make my skin breakout. This product lasts for a long time. The color is really beautiful and looks really flawless and natural on my skin. I almost got blushed rose instead but I already have alot of browny/pink blushes. I have got alot of compliments about this blush ... and I would highly recommend it. The only downside of it, is that it is quite expensive.
I have this tint in Watermelon, which smells really nice. As a blush it looks very natural on me, and a little of the product goes a long way ... so be careful how much you apply or it could end up being too dark. Beach tint creates a very natural sheer effect ... and would be perfect for summer and days at the beach. I don't use this product on my lips though because the color turns out a bit too pink. This product lasts for quite a long time ... most of a day. I find it lasts longer than Becca's creme blush.
Turkish Rose is a really lovely, subtle color that can be worn during the day as an everyday blush. It has a nice creamy, consistency and is very easy to apply. However, it is not oily and does not make my skin breakout. A little of this blush can go a long way so it would last over a long period of time. I gave this a rating of four because - Becca products are hard to find where I live so this product was quite expensive for me to buy. Another reason is because this blush doesn't last for as long as I would like - a few hours maybe.
Liquid -Becca - Luminous Skin Color sheer foundation

I was expecting to love this because I only ever use tinted moisturizeres or a foundation with very sheer coverage (and even then only at night). I only tried this as a sample - which is lucky, because I wasn't too impressed by it. This is because - it's too oily for my skin type. The SA recommended using the mattifying primer underneath, which I did - but still it was way to oily. It felt really yuck on my skin too. I couldn't wait to wash it off. I used the Olive color ... it wasn't exactly to dark, but the color was off ... it was too yellow/orange ... and looked really unnatural. I would not purchase this product. But, mum has it in the same color and it really suits her and she says she loves how moisturizing it is. It was just too moisturizing on me. I think that this could be a good product depending on your skin type and skin tone.
Like lots of other people have already said - this product has a really nice texture. It's not at all sticky and feels really smooth on your lips. Grenadine is a really nice color too ... like a deep pinky/berry red. The only reason I gave it a four rating is because the color comes on a little stronger than I expected. I was expecting more of a 'tint', but this product actually has alot of color to it - a little goes a long way, and I only need one light coat of the gloss. Other than that ... it's a lovely color and product and I would buy it again even if in another color.
Eyeliner -Clinique - Brush-On Cream Liner in Black Honey
BeccaS11 5/18/2008 10:57:00 PM
I really like this product. I initially wanted the Deep Brown color but the SA convinced me to get the Black Honey color ... which is a nice warm brown color with gold shimmer. My eyes are a warm brown so I really suit this color and it's great for wearing during the day - I hardly notice the shimmer Someone else mentioned that this liner goes on lighter than what they expected ... and I would have to say that this is very true, so you need to apply a few coats if you want to acheive a darker color. The brush that it comes with is average at the best. I would recommend using a different brush. One great thing about it is that it lasts and lasts and will last all day without smudging.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Full Potential plumping lip gloss
BeccaS11 5/18/2008 10:37:00 PM
I brought this product in Cream Soda ... which is a nice sort of bronzy color and different from most of my other lipglosses. This product really stung my lips at first but after a while my lips felt normal again. I wore this as my sole lipgloss for a few days, because the color is relatively natural. After that it gave my lips a really nasty rash. I stopped using it and it went away. I now only use it occasionally and it's fine ... I think I just used it too often. I do have sensitive skin though ... and it doesn't react well to Clinique's skincare line either (although it never gave a rash!). I did give the product a rating of two though, just because it does seem to work for plumping lips ... the packaging is quite small and like other people have said it is really sticky and thick. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who has sensitive skin.
