Im glad I asked for samples of this. Im not really sure what I think of it, but Im glad I didnt fork out the $98 that it costs here in Australia from Mecca. No way is this foundation worth that, it has a very thin, sheer consistency yet gives a sort of masklike look...It goes shiny on my face by lunchtime. Stays true to colour though, however I wouldnt pay $98 for it. If it was cheaper I'd probably say it may be good due to high quality ingreds that are meant to moisturise etc, however, it's just not that good for the price.

I bought this based on the reviews here and use it after Dermalogica Precleanse. I love the results. The two products leave my sking completely clean clear and smooth. This will remove mascara, without stinging. I love it. I love it. I will continue using this in conjunction with the Precleanse. I love the packaging, I love the waxy consistency - perfect for travel. Just perfect.

Cleansers -Dermalogica - PreCleanse

Im using this in combination with Clinique Take the Day Off. I use this first, rinse, the use the Clinique and my skin has never been as clean. No oily plugs on my chin - a breakthru for me. I love this, I definately now believe that a double cleanse is necessary for any woman who has a oily based skin (mine is oily but with a dehydration prone surface) and who wears makeup. This will even remove your mascara. I love it. I love the smell - actually the smell is what first made me want this - I was having my skin cleansed prefacial and thought, what is that lovely oily beautiful smelling stuff, I was told it's Dermalogica Precleanse. I love it. This is a must have.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extra Refreshing Eye Gel

I really like this product. I find that it really helps with eyelid puffiness as it contains caffeine. It seems to help in terms of hydration, but for me, the big sell is the anti puffiness effect. I love it.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Honey
rated 5 of 5

I started putting honey on my face as a mask a while ago - without reading about it here. I decided that if it was such a common ingredient in lots of moisturisers (Clarins comes to mind) it had to be worth trying. The results are really good. I apply Manuka honey to my face as a mask - being careful to apply it directly under my eye, and on my eyelid! I leave it on for as long as I can - usually at least 30 mins. When I rinse it off, my skin is smooth and hydrated. You will really see the results. When something this cheap that you can buy off the supermarket shelf works this well, use it every second day!! If you got the same results from a high end product - at this price - would you let it sit unused on the shelf?

I absolutley love this. It is a gorgeous blend of honey, oatmeal and has kaolin, zinc and peppermint in it. I adore how this makes my skin feel - so so smooth, and because of the lovely blend of ingredients it feels and smells heavenly to use. For those of you who love Lush Angels on Bare Skin - IMO this is better!

Makeup Brushes -Stila - #8 Powder Brush
rated 5 of 5

I bought this for only AUD$43 on Strawberry Net as opposed to the whoppingingly appalling $110 on MECCA. This is so soft. Beautiful, I will update when I use it to apply powder, but I am so impressed with how soft this is.

Polishes -OPI - Nail Polishes
rated 3 of 5
AxlsRose 3/23/2008 10:18:00 PM

I had never used OPI until about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to see how good these were, after reading that it was a great long lasting polish. I gave 3 stars, purely because I think the range of colous is awesome - I dont know of another nail polish brand that can match OPI in terms of colour choice. I also love the look of the bottle - really nice packaging. However...I was expecting this polish to stay on and on. I even used a good base coat that was made to prolong polish wear and enhance durability. I also used a top coat. I have to say that OPI polish did NOT last the test of time, in fact it started chipping the very next day after application. Not impressed. IMO, apart from the choice of colours, I wouldnt bother again. Oh, did I mention that I had to apply 3 coats to get over that streaky look...Can someone please tell me (apart from the colours) why there is so much fuss about OPI???

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - DermaVeen - Moisturising Lotion
rated 5 of 5

This product is available in Australia (not sure about other countries) ad is made by DermaTech Laboratories. I had 3 Microdermabrasion treatments in 6 weeks, and my skin reacted very badly after the 3rd one - not from the Microdermabrasion, but because it made my skin really sensitive, my skin actually burnt when I applied my usual products to it, that contained perfume. My skin was blotchy, extremely dry and blistered. This went on for around 2 weeks, I didnt know what to do. Then I found a sample sachet of this product, that I'd obtained ages before at a Pharmacy. It said "For relief of dry itchy or sensitive skin" It contains Natural Colloidal Oatmeal and Avena Sativa Seed Powder 2%. I thought, ok, this should help to sooth the swollen red blotches whilst adding some much needed moisture. This was the ONLY thing that soothed and healed my skin back to normal condition. I used this exclusively for one week - not putting a perfumed product (except maybe my foundation) on my face in this time. This normalised my skin. It added moisture, soothed the red blotches and took away the itchiness!! I love this!!! I have now bought this is the regular size, and will always use it after microdermabrasion, and whenever I feel that my skin is a little irritated or sensitive. It is fantastic. This saved my skin when it was the worst it's ever been! I will always love it now. If your skin is at all senisitve, or has had a bad reaction to something, I cannot reccommend this highly enough!!! Furthermore, it's cheap and available at the chemist.

I'd have to agree, this does look lovely with hazel eyes. Its a pretty olive green, seems to be mixed with the sparkle antique gold. A lovely dark olivey gold colour, looks great with my eyes. I love it, a very unusual colour.
