Polishes -OPI - What's with the Cattitude?

I bought this cus I keep seeing people talk about it. It's a pretty pastel blue. Pastels and I generally are not friends and I have to say this does hold true. I just put it on today, application was pretty good. I did 3 coats just to make sure no brush strokes were visible. (I will update with how well it holds up) I think I need to use a shatter or a crackle or even do a stamp over it so it isn't so blah. I applied I juggle men over it but it didn't jazz it up like I had hoped for. This is of course my personal preference of course I am sure there are others that love pastels. I am sure I will keep it to have a pastel blue in my collection. I could have used this for my easter mani that i did an easter skittles mani. ETA: been wearing this for a few days and I don't know if this is from the seche or the i juggle men or just because of this polish. the tips right near the free edge of my nails look like the color was drained from it. I mean yeah we all know what shrinkage from seche looks like but the tips of my nails are polished to the tip but the blue color does not totally reach it and when I polished I know i fully covered my nail. Maybe I will have to wear this polish again with a different topcoat.

Another color from my easter mani. This is such a pretty yellow creme. I loved it for easter such a soft yellow not too bold and bright but still gets noticed. perfect for spring.

I loved this color used it for my easter mani (one of the 5 colors I used). This was one of the less streaky cremes I used. I did 3 coats anyway just cus I did 3 on other nails with different colors. I can't wait to use it for a mani on it's own. I would by again for sure.

I wore this as part of my Easter mani. I liked this color very much. Did 3 coats to make sure everything was nice and even. Creme's are usually a bit streaky but if you do a few coats you can get everything even.

Bought this years ago. This is just too sheer of a color. You need at least 6 coats to get it opaque. I was disappointed. Every turquoise color I get from opi seems to need a billion coats.

I love this color. the hint of grey keeps it from being hugely bright but also makes it unique. I did 3 coats and it's opaque. 2 was just not enough IMO. Right now I am wearing it with silver shatter or i'd upload a picture here (you can see it in my gallery though) Drying time wasn't bad and it went on nicely even though I hate the prowide brush.

I really like this color. When I first saw the collection pictures I knew I'd be getting this color. I love purples and I don't have many creme purples. I did 3 coats and no streaks. drying time was pretty good too. Right now I have it under silver shatter but I will def wear this on it's own.

Polishes -OPI - Silver Shatter

I bought this yesterday and used it today. I am wearing mermaids tears and planks a lot on my fingers and put silver shatter over it. I love the sparkled silver.Like with black shatter you need a medium coat to get good cracks. I generally only wipe one side of the brush(the side i am not using) and then brush it on. The thickness of the coat and the pressure in which you use to apply the polish makes a difference in the cracks.Yes the silver shatter came out with the PotC collection but I feel these polishes for the most part are too light to show the beauty of the silver shatter. IMO you need more contrast. I like how planks a lot looks with it but mermaids tears to me is a tad too light. I am one for drama and contrast though so subtle is generally not my friend lol. I can't wait to get another bottle and try it with my other polishes :)

I was hoping for an opaque shade for an easter mani I was doing. I don't know if target will take it back but I may try returning it. I could have gotten a more opaque shade for much less money.

Love this color. I got this the other day to use for my easter mani. two coats and it was completely opaque even though even after 1 coat it is pretty good on the coverage. I have no bubbles. I had bought another purple creme color but it was too dark for the look I was going for and I picked this up for just over 2 dollars. I will wear this again cus it's just so pretty. The polish was nice and thick so I might try it with my konad.

I started out with the s set but have since added 10 plates and plan on getting so many more. I am still not good at those full nail images but I am learning. I have flower pattern from plate m4 on my nails now :) I can't wait to use it more. SOO glad I got it. I found a kiosk at the mall near me that sells konad, so I can just run to the mall if the mood strikes for a new plate. I promised my one cousin I would buy her a set for her upcoming birthday.

I used 3 thin coats when I was using this for a base for neon dots. I have used 2 thin coats under water marbling. I always have a hard time with white polishes anyway no matter what the brand but I like china glaze polishes and this lasted for over a week without a chip.

I am generally not into pinks but I saw the shimmer in this and had to have it. I personally do not like it on my nails alone but with a crackle/shatter it's awesome. This lasted on my nails like other china glaze polishes. I had a full weeks wear. If I ran out I would buy it again but since I rarely wear pinks I doubt I'll ever finish the bottle.
