This is the first body wash I have ever bought where I could go without using lotion if I wanted to. Great scent too!!!!
Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Vibrant Blonde Shampoo

I really liked this shampoo/conditioner set. It's not available locally for me but I purchased it online. It really brought out the highlights in my hair and made it super shiney. I would buy it again if it were available here.
I like this shampoo & conditioner line more so for the scent than any volumizing properties. It doesn't weigh my hair down either but it really doesn't make it any more volumized than any other shampoo.
I bought this on a whim because it was on sale. I loved it!!! It really softens my hair without weighing it down. It left it so smooth that I was able to forgo my usual hair serum. This is my new HG in shampoo and conditioner.
I have purchased a couple of these in different scents and I love them. My daughters have curly hair that is just beginning to be long enough to tangle. These helps keeps the tangles away and softens their curls. I like the Dragonfruit - kind of reminds me of bubble gum. The coconut really smells good too. The scents stays for quite a while in their hair too. I don't plan on purchasing any other brand.
I got a sample of this and I really like it! It's a great nighttime fragrance. It's probably a bit heavy for daytime use. The scent was very intense when I first put it on but once the drydown hit, it smells really great. Will purchase a full size when my sample runs out. I just wished it lasted longer.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Gabriela Sabatini - Gabriela Sabatini

This is one of the few perfumes that I have bought more than once. It was my first "grown-up" scent that I received when I was out of college. I love the great scent. It smells a lot like Givenchy's Amarige. The fragrance notes include floral bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, lily of the valley, honeysuckle, vanilla, sandalwood, amber, and moss. The first time I bought it, it was an eau de parfum, now they make it in a toilette. Regardless though, it still has great lasting power. It's not easy to find, I have to buy it either off of Ebay or through one of the online perfume retail stores. I really like her scents but they are hard to find in the U.S. She has several listed on her website, including one introduced last year. I'm not sure where she markets these at but I would love to be able to find more of the others.
I have Bvlgari Notte which I love so I was excited to receive a sample size spray of one of their newest fragrances. This is a light floral fragrance with notes of grapefruit, green sap, iris flower, and rosebud. To me, it's a very classy and elegant scent. It's not a unique smell, nothing that jumps out and you and says "Wow" but it does smell very nice. It's a great casual scent for daytime. I'm not sure if I would purchase a full size bottle. Although I do like it, I usually reserve my money for more expensive perfumes for nighttime or romantic scents. I tend to spend less on everyday fragrances. **Update** - While this is a nice floral, it doesn't have much lasting power. I only get a couple hours of it. I would only purchase again if it was on sale.
Tinted Moisturizer -Mary Kay - Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen SPF 20

In the past I never used Mary Kay products because I thought they were overpriced for the quality. But then my sister decided to start selling it. Mainly to get her to leave me alone and because I was having problems finding a tinted moisturizer with a high SPF I decided to get this from her. I got Ivory 1 which will work really well in the winter. Now that it's summer, it's a little light. This stuff surprised me. It's actually quite good. I had been using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer which was a little heavier than what I wanted. This stuff seems much lighter and has fairly good coverage. I'll probably keep purchasing this from her. The only thing I don't like is the tube. It keeps falling down on my shelf if I try to stand it up. A shorter but thicker tube would be better than a tall skinny one. I'm impressed with it overall.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Gabriela Sabatini - Tempermento

I wore the original Gabriela Sabatini perfume back in the mid 90's. I received it as a gift and I loved it. They stopped selling it at the department stores around me after the next year or so after I got it. I was able to find it once at a fragrance outlet store. I was recently browsing online trying to find it again after these years and I found that she has made several other scents since then. Tempermento was released in 2004, mainly outside of the US I think. The notes are coming from her website: Top notes are aquatic melon and black currant. Middle notes are white jasmine, peony, and lily of the valley. Base notes are sandalwood, white musk, and vanilla. What my untrained nose smells is a more mature version of a fruity floral scent with a hint of musk. I'm really pleased with it especially since I bought it without ever smelling it. The lasting power seems pretty good for an eau de toilette. She has more fragrances that I want to try if I can find them. The online fragrance stores only carry a few of them.
Treatments -Avon - Advance Techniques-Anti-Brass Treatment Mask
taralynn36 6/22/2007 9:34:00 AM
I didn't notice any difference in using this product. I guess it's an okay deep conditioning treatment but not worth purchasing again.
I loved the ocean beach hair texturizing spray from John Frieda. I don't know if they discontinued it or not but I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore. So when I see that Avon just came out with one I thought I'd give it a try. It's no where as good of a product as the John Frieda brand. It's okay for such a cheap product ($4.99). I love the scent of the Advanced Techniques line so it has that going for it. It does put a bit of wave in my straight chin-length hair. I don't like the fact that it makes my hair feel a bit stiff though. I probably won't purchase again, I'll probably try a different brand next time.
I really liked this product and the glow that it left on my face. However, it's to rich for me for summertime use. I'll probably only use it during the winter.
Treatments -Avon - Anew Alternative Intensive Age Treatment [DISCONTINUED]

About a month ago, I bought a bunch of samples of this on Ebay to see if I liked it before I shelled out $32 for it on Avon. I really didn't notice any changes in my skin for the first couple of weeks. But around the 3rd week I noticed that my skin was a lot smoother and softer. I also noticed that my pores seemed smaller too. I've been using it as a night cream since, especially in summer, that it's a little heavy for daytime wear. I honestly can't remember when my skin has been this soft (I'm in my mid 30's). I like the smell of it too. I just bought some more (a lot cheaper on Ebay). This has become my new night cream. I love it!!
Comes in a cute bottle, is very fruity and fun but has no lasting power.
