Another winner from MAC! Gorgeous soft gold shadow with lots of shimmer. Perfect for that spring bronzed look. Looks great paired with bronze, plum, green, blue - just about anything. Also look nice with a heavy dark liner and deeply coloured lipstick/gloss.

Black powder eyeshadow with a little shimmer. Like all MAC shadows, creaseproof and wonderful. Can be worn sheer or opaque. Makes a great liner with a wet brush.

I bought Shimma - a neutral taupe with tons of shimmer. This stays on ALL day without creasing or moving. Can be applied with fingers or a brush to get different coverage.

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

Great concealer! Covers undereye circles and blemishes easily. Comes in tons of shades to find your perfect match. Reasonably priced. For really dark undereye circles, you will have to apply in layers with powder.

I'm a PPP, so this is a nice, natural blush colour for me. Can be worn sheer or layered for more colour. Great lasting power.... 12 hours plus.

Can be used wet or dry - layered for sheer or medium coverage. May be difficult to find your perfect shade, as colours are limited. Overall, a nice, moderately priced foundation.

Lips -Lip Ink - Lip Ink
rated 4 of 5

We are all looking for that perfect, long-lasting lipcolour. Lip Ink comes pretty close. Comes in TONS of colours that can be custom mixed to make any number of shades. It does take some getting used to though. When first using it, your lips will peel a little. But the colour does stay on for 12 hours and looks pretty good after eating and drinking. Application takes a little practice.

Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer

Glad I got samples first! This is a VERY expensive cream... with 16 ounces going for $1000! It is very moisturizing - too much so for my normal/oily skin. Smells nice and "herbal." Has a HUGE cult following, but get a sample (mine was from Ebay) before splurging. It does make a nice undereye cream, but is rather expensive for that.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Glass Shine - Berry Glow
rated 4 of 5

Fabulous colour, moisture and shine - what more could you ask for at a price of $6? This is a lovely berry - you can wear sheer or layer on for tons of shine and deep, rich colour. Don't really care for the tube it comes in though... would be nicer in a wand or pen.

Creamy and moisturizing shaving - what a relief! Smells great (in all it's many fragrances) and is cheap to boot!

Concealers -Amazing Cosmetics - Amazing Concealer

A great concealer for blemishes and some undereye concerns. Amazing Concealer is creamy and VERY opaque. It will cover just about anything. Comes in several shades - you should be able to find one that fits. Only problem I had was it does seem to settle in fine lines around the eyes.

Concealers -Jane Iredale - Circle Delete
rated 3 of 5
gambitlizard 4/17/2003 9:07:00 PM

I'm always on the lookout for a concealer that will do the impossible - cover my dark undereye circles, stay creaseless and look perfect. Sad to say, but for me, this wasn't it. Circle/Delete is very creamy. It goes on smooth, but it settled in my fine lines. It was hard to find a shade to match my PPP skin.

Powder -Jane Iredale - Amazing Base Loose Finishing Powder

I really wanted to like this mineral foundation... but it was too shiny for me. I also had a hard time finding a good shade (I'm a PPP). It did provide nice, medium coverage. Hides lots of flaws and makes skin look smooth and even toned. Did an "okay" job of keeping oil under control. It's nice, but needs a little more for the money.

Styling Products -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
rated 5 of 5
gambitlizard 4/17/2003 8:56:00 PM

A silicone serum that smooths the hair surface. It's rather thick, so a little goes a long way. Works like most other shine, de-frizz serums. Helps to protect during heat styling and makes hair smooth and shiny. Best of all, it's inexpensive and easy to find at your local drugstore.

Styling Products -Fudge - Shaper
rated 5 of 5

Shaper is great for modern, choppy haircuts. It gives definition and swing to long or short hair. It's hard to find, but well worth it. You can use Shaper to give lift and volume or use it to smooth and straighten. Great for all styles.
