Fragrances -CCB-Paris - Annam

Very unusual scent - understated, gourmandy-sweet and very feminine. I won't go into too much detail as all the reviewers before me have described this very well. The bottle is also beautiful and inspirational. I'd buy again, but CCB-Paris doesn't do mail order in the UK any more.

Fragrances -Kenzo - Flower

A very original fragrance - floriental with light peppery notes, dries down soft and powdery. Comes in a gorgeous bottle; not cheap but will repurchase.

Fragrances -Stila - Creme Bouquet

I think you either love this or hate it. I love it - it's really feminine, girly, pretty, adorable and delicious. It's powdery and vanillary - quite a sweet but natural smell. The bottle is cute + girly with dried flowers on it, which makes it even more natural looking. It's quite expensive in the UK, which is why I gave it 4 lippies, but I'd definitely repurchase.

Eyeliner -Bourjois - Liner Parfait in Prune
littlelamb 3/7/2006 6:17:00 AM
Disappointed with this, esp. since I love so many of Bourjois's products. Thin/soft brush provided ok application, but pigment wasn't dense so had to layer the colour several times. Cannot smudge the colour for a more natural finish as it will flake + crumble. Cute packaging. Will stick with BB + Stila gel liners

Loose Powders -Chanel - Poudre Universal Libre
littlelamb 3/3/2006 6:14:00 AM
Excellent quality - finely milled, sheer translucent coverage, matt finish (but not chalky), glam packaging, huge tub, lovely soft sponge, but i prefer to apply with a kabuki brush for sheerer coverage. Once all my MU has settled (after about 30mins) my skin looks more glowy and less made-up. I usually need to blot away the oil (I have combo/sensitive acne-prone skin) around midday, then touch-up with pressed powder early evening. If I applied this l/p with a sponge in the morning, I find that touching up with pressed powder later on always makes my skin look cakey. Applying with a large powder brush or kabuki prevents this.

Blush -Estee Lauder - Tender Blush - Rose Nuance
littlelamb 3/2/2006 9:40:00 AM
also bought this in Peach Nuance - really beautiful blushes! I only bought them because they're 'nuance' blushes, as there's nothing special with the mono-tone ones. It's a sheer light pink merging into a brighter bubble-gummy pink - it's blendable, adjustable + very soft. Great fan out brush, glam compact but quite expensive. Will repurchase.

Beautiful blush! you can adjust the colour has its a golden yellow merging into a peachy apricot. the fan out brush is adorable and the compact is very glam with a good sized mirror. Quite expensive for a blush, but will repurchase if i ever run out.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Panoramic Curl - Waterproof
littlelamb 3/2/2006 9:15:00 AM
This mascara really holds the curl (I have stubborn, short + sparse lashes), thickens slightly without any clumps, and doesn't smudge. Lash Arc W'proof is more volumising, but this one is better on my lower lashes. Price is ok although not particularly glam packaging. Will repurchase (actually, have already restocked on another 2).

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush - All colors [DISCONTINUED]
littlelamb 3/2/2006 9:11:00 AM
Cute jar! good texture mousse/cream blush - this texture works much better as blush than Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. It stays put for most of the day + isn't greasy or powdery, and is very pigmented. You can apply with fingertips or with a brush. Lovely colours - I have Dolly Pink and Coral, and both are very girly yet natural when applied lightly.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse
littlelamb 3/2/2006 9:06:00 AM
Ok foundation - medium coverage, just a tad drying. When you try to layer it just rubs off what you put on before. A little mask-like + stays matt for most of the day, although it seems to dehydrate my skin (I'm combo/oily/acne-prone/senstv). Jar is cute but too heavy to carry; won't be repurchasing

Foundations -Bourjois - Matt Lovely
littlelamb 3/2/2006 7:56:00 AM
This foundation is silky smooth + light, with great coverage and makes my skin soft for most of the day. It's not powdery or mattifying, but leaves my combo/oily/acne-prone/senstv skin satiny. It keeps the oilies at bay (with only a light dusting of powder mid-PM), but probably won't be suitable for girls with very oily skin. It's cheap but the tube is smaller than most, and oh so cute! Colour range is disappointing however, and I can't find a shade that suits my NC25 skintone. Oh - and there's no SPF!

Scrubs -Olay - Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher
littlelamb 2/14/2006 7:39:00 AM
Have only used this once, but love it so far. Lovely fruity scent, soft non-irritaing grains, slightly warms on skin. It's easy to massage this over the face as it feels really gentle. I have combo-sensitive skin which is rarely blemish free, this doesn't irritate my skin at all, left it smooth + tightened my v.large pores. As others have said, it's a treatment rather than a cleanser, so need to remove makeup before using this. Will update if anything changes. UPDATE: it's been a week + still loving it. I keep getting £5 skincare vouchers from Boots which is only valid on specific brands - Olay Regenerist is one of them and I now have 3 bottles of the stuff (and I still have 1 more voucher).

Pressed Powders -Christian Dior - Diorskin Pressed Powder
littlelamb 6/21/2005 8:01:00 AM
This is exactly like my HG product: Agnes B's pressed powder, which is unfortunately discontinued in UK. It gives a v. smooth finish to my combo/acne prone skin w/ large pores. The powder comes in a small plastic compact with velvet navy pouch. It;is for finishing the skin, rather than absorbing oil (which I use Crabtree & Evelyn Blotting papers for)

Primer/ Corrector -Chanel - Blanc Universel de Chanel - Sheer Illuminator [DISCONTINUED]
littlelamb 6/6/2005 7:17:00 AM
Lovely! SA suggested applying before foundation, but after reading reviews, I went out to buy this + couldn't wait to try it on. So I tried on top of makeup + it was fantastic! Left my skin glowy, smooth but not too matte, and didn't change the colour of my foundation. I then used it underneath foundation the next day. At first it made me look heavily made up before my foundation had a chance to settle into my skin, but after about 1/2 hour, my skin looked a bit dewy + natural. It lasted throughout the day, prevented my combo/oily/acneprone skin from getting too oily + didn't cause breakouts (but I've only used it twice, so this may change). Gorgeous scent + posh packaging. Will definitely recommend to girls with oily/combo skin. UPDATE: haven't used this as often as I thought I would because the packaging is a little inconvenient, however, I've used it as concealor to tone down redness in blemishes, and as well as toning the colour down, it seemed to help dry them up too! I'm reaching for this more and more now...

Makeup Brushes -Ruby & Millie - Eye Smudge
littlelamb 5/20/2005 7:51:00 AM
Excellent! It's wonderfully soft + smooth, and is great for creating the smokey-eyed look. It's far softer than the smudges on the end of eyeliners: Beneift, Clarins, Stila...and only £5
