Sea ware is a seaweed. This is a mild cleanser, made of fatty acid cream, coconut oil and seaweeds. It is very gentle and soothing. It works well on sensitive skin. The preservative is grapefruit seed oil. All vegan, no animal testing. Good for dry skin. The package is a flip top bottle. It has a fresh scent (supposedly from the products used, not perfume.) It is a cream or lotion style cleanser that rinses off.

Cleansers -Aubrey Organics - Natural and Herbal Facial Cleanser

This is exactly like Noxema cream, right down to the menthol smell. It is NOT for dry skin, though works well on oily sensitive skin. Since I am not so oily anymore, I don't use this cleanser. It is very effective, not expensive, and if you like an invigorating, but creamy cleanser that rinses clean, this is a great one. All vegan, no animal testing.

Toners -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Therapeutic Lavender Facial Toner

I am not much of a toner fan,normally. Toners often are harsh or leave a sticky residue behind. This toner is different It is a mild mix of many herbals, like comfrey, aloe, rosemary, lavender and many more. No alcohol. I apply it with a cotton pad. It leaves no residue. If you like a gentle toner, and assuming you aren't allergic to any of the herbs (there is some lemon in it) then this is a great choice. It is quite inexpensive; a large fliptop bottle for under $8.

This is a large sized pump of clear liquid, lavender-scented facial wash that suds. The label indicates the lavender is from certified organic sources, and that the ingredients are natural. There are other herbs like infusions of comfrey and aloe. The wash foams amazingly, so much so I was sure it had detergent, but it has olefin sulfonate (a kind of soap) as cleanser. After a month of using it, my face is extremely soft. The cleanser is thorough but gentle. The scent is strongly lavender. The bottle has a LOT of facial wash, making this a very cost-effective product (under $10 for 12 oz, in fact, I think I paid around $8 for it.) The pump is a nice feature for dispensing the cleanser. HIGHLY recommended.

Skincare - Face -Borlind of Germany - Absolute Night Cream

This is a rich, thick cream for very dry or mature skin. It has a bit of coloring matter from a natural source (carthame.) It is scented. The major ingredients are jojoba and macadamia nut oils, plus a number of soothing herbals. It sinks in well, leaves a moist feel and you wake up with very smooth skin.

Most effective eye cream I've used. Priced moderately. Nice pump container. Works better than more expensive creams, soothing, non-irritating. Visible smoothing of lines in about a week. I have yet to find anything better, even at twice the price. A winner.

Toner for sensitive skin. Contains alcohol. Packaged in spray dispenser (very nice.) Soothes despite alcohol content. Feels very nice after washing.

Glass ampules of a watery clear liquid. To be used when skin is unsettled (seasonal changes, after illness or allergies.) Good for sensitive skin. S is for sensitive skin, N is to normalize. The glass ampules are a bit annoying; have to break the neck on them, and be careful!-- because a tiny fragment of glass can occasionally remain. Works in place of moisturizer morning and night. Not cheap, but did settle my skin after 10 days.

New pump packaging, keeps product clean and sanitary. Easy to use. Light, dairy-cream consistency. Cleanses gently, good for sensitive skin. Rinses fairly well.

Moisturizers -Dr. Hauschka - Rose Day Cream

Rose cream made with rose wax and shea butter. Very protective for winter, skiing, wind or for couperose (rosacea) skin. Oily, waxy, leaves a film. Soothing and made of good natural ingredients. Excellent as a night cream.

Mascara -Lancome - Extencils Black Mascara

Lenghtening formula of the Lancome mascara line. Nice squarish case with modern lines. Good brush design. Goes on without clumping, lengthens lashes well. Can flake a bit (as all lenghtening lashes tend to do) so not for eyes on a hay fever day. No smell. Formula stays moist and in a good consistency throughout product life (three months.)

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Cannes Eye Shadow

A lovely shimmery pale pink. Not too shimmery, though. A good base color for wearing with other shades or alone for a pale eye look. Gentle, non-irritating (to my sensitive eyes.) Nice tin can packaging.
