This is my favourite Rosine - it is simply gorgeous. A beautiful blend of roses and violets that lasts well on my skin and keeps the rose note right to the end. There is also a slighly fruity quality to the drydown. Very feminine and I would wear it all year round. I definitely recommend it for anyone who loves roses.

I really disliked this. It opened with a blast of anise and then I got dry, spicy geranium notes. No rose. Not on my skin anyway. Could never imagine myself wearing it and couldn't wait to wash it off. Too bad because I love some of the other Rosines.

After reading all the rave reviews I was really disappointed that this just did not work on me. The fruit totally overpowered the rose on my skin. I got a hint of melon and then the whole drydown turned sour and sweaty. Waited and waited for it to improve - but it didn't. Will try the other Rosines. Edited: After trying this a few more times I upgraded it to 3 lippies. The melon is still a little overwhelming, but the rose note is coming through better. It only lasts a few hours though.

Started off with overpowering blast of jasmine and not much else. Just as I was about to go and wash if off it softened into a much sweeter, powdery blend. I don't find it anything out of the ordinary. To be honest, it's mainly rose and powder - I can't smell any other floral notes on my skin, and it has an almost vanilla-sugar sweetness to it. It's not unpleasant, but it's not me!

This is one of my favourite fragrances - a well-rounded summer chypre. As soon as I put it on I feel happy, singing, dancing and generally up-lifted! It's ideal for summer, imo peachy rather than citrus and with warm floral notes. It lasts really well on my skin and the dry-down is so beautiful I keep smelling my wrist all day long.

Edited: I bought this on eBay after seeing the rave reviews. The bottle was a big disappointment - somewhat tacky, and I have to say the first time I tried it it was like disinfectant on me. However, coming back to it after a year it was a different story! In the warmer weather this lotv really bloomed, a lovely, rounded true-flower note, quite soft and elegant and staying close to the skin. It lasted a good 4 hours too. This lily of the valley is a real bargain!
