i bought this on sale at tj maxx and it was defiently a steal! i love this. up until this i'd hated florals, but this is what got me to give them another shot. it smells very girly and playful but not at all in an "immature" way. it smells sophisticated. i absolutely love it and the bottle is adorable too!
this is one of my all-time favorite perfumes and i will be buying this for as long as they make it. it's one of my staples. it's a floral but not in the typical sense - it's very hard to describe. grown up and elegant. it's a wonderful daytime scent. people seem to either love this or hate this so i strongly recommend trying this on and sleeping on it to see if you like it. hey it can't hurt to try it!
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Illuminance Creme Shadow 10 pan in Budding Romance

if you live near a big lots, chances are you can buy this 10-shadow-pan for dirt cheap. i'd been on the lookout for buying some cream shadows and i was about to buy one of the quads revlon makes for around $7 from the drugstore. i can't remember exactly how much this was but i know i got 10 colors instead of 4 and it cost a lot less than $7. and these colors are beautiful, this is just the mostly neutral colors i was looking for, with a purple and blue thrown in there for fun. and seriously if you only like 4 out of the 10 colors here you've already gotten a bargain. i've worn all the colors and none of them have creased on my lids. they just look great - one of the best bargains i've ever come across!
i'm very pale so i was initally intimidated by the color in the tube, but when you put it on it lightens up a lot and is very sheer. it smells like chocolate which i love, one of the best smelling jt's i've ever bought. overall i'm very impressed!

if you want to look like you smear glue on your lips and eat glitter before you go out, buy xxx gloss in uzi, because that's what it'll look like.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Moistureshine Tinted Lip Balm [DISCONTINUED]

i bought this in glow which is the only thing i regret about buying this. i love how moisturizing it is, and that it has spf protection, and the smell. but glow has barely any color at all. i will buy this again, but in a color that has more pigment.
Concealers -Maybelline - Pure Concealer ] [DISCONTINUED]

i liked the idea of this being in a pencil, somehow that seemed hygenic to me. but that doesn't matter if the product is crap, which this is. i bought this in light and it does not match my skin at all (it's very yellow/orange). it also does not heal zits at all, i don't care what it claims. it's just a knockoff of the clinique acne solutions concealer, which probably works way better than this.
if you live near a tj maxx or a marshalls you can probably find this there for about $4, and i feel bad for anyone who's paid more than that. this is just another lip plumper that burns when you put it on and consequently irratates your lips into "plumping" temporarily. if someone's cool with that then this product is a steal for you, but if otherwise even at $4 its not worth your money.
Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous - Pink Afterglow 020

i bought this in a double-pack along with a lipstick at big-lots for $1.99, so i can't complain about the price. but i feel i kind of got what i paid for. this is just a so-so gloss. nothing special about it.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Wear Infinité Eyeshadow Quad
genica 8/1/2006 11:02:00 PM
i love this. i bought it in woodrose and i LOVE the colors. i noticed some of the other reviewers saying that this barely shows up on them, and i could see that. but i am very very pale so this is not a problem for me, they show up against my ultra-pale skin just fine. i love wearing this as an everyday eye look, its very neutral and beautiful. i guess my only word of caution would be to consider your skin color when choosing the colors because these do go on pretty sheer.
i bought this in kelly rose and while i am pleased with it over all it does have its drawbacks. first of all it's $26 which is on the high end for a gloss, but this is dior so you shouldn't expect a bargain. its also VERY GLITTERY, too glittery for some i would think. and while i love how the glitter reflects on my lips and kind of plumps them up, getting the extra glitter of your finger is a little harder with this one than with other pot glosses i've tried. speaking of which: i don't know why everyone is complaning about this being in a pot. you knew what you were getting when you bought this, if you don't like pot glosses you should't have bought it. overall there is nothing spectacular or different about this gloss that would separate it from those of other brands. if you like pot gloss and you like dior, its worth a shot. i'll buy it agian because i'm in love with the color. otherwise you could probably find one you liked more from another brand and for less money.
Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Goldie Lipgloss - Blossom

i got this on sale for $5 at b&bw so the price was right. it's a peach/pink/coral color that's pretty opaque which is nice to find in a gloss since most tend to be transparent. and its smells divine! one of the best smelling lipglosses i've ever had.
Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - MoistureShine Lip Soother in Glaze
genica 8/1/2006 10:41:00 PM
i had been hating neutrogena ever since i bought one of their lipglosses and it was the worst smelling lipgloss i'd ever bought. it smelled like grape childrens tylenol but worse, it literally made me gag. this was, like... 5 years ago too, thats how much that lipgloss put me off.lol but i'd been seeing the ads for the lip soothers in magazines and my interest was regained. so when i went to the drustore of course the first thing i did was SMELL IT.lol and to my surprise it smelled wonderful! like apricot or peach. so i bought it and i'm so glad i did! neutrogena has won me back. this lipgloss is very sheer, so don't expect a lot of color, although it does add a tint. it's packaged like a lancome jt so it's easy to put on. it has spf 20, a definite plus. and it does have a little cooling sensation when you first put it on that feels nice, especially on a hot day.
i love this jt. it's a sheer milky pink with very subtle shimmer that makes for a nice everyday look, or paired with smoky eyes for a well-balanced but more dramatic look. if you're a fan of jts this is one you shouldn't miss. also has a very interesting smell - smells like fruity pebbles to me! and as far as jts go that's one of the better smells. this is definitely worth at least a try at the lancome counter.
it appears i am the lone dissenter. i hated this. the smell made me nauseous. maybe i was just so dissapointed because with a name like blueberry blast i was expecting a blueberry smell/taste but it's totally minty. the color was pretty (a light blue with glitter). but the smell was so horrible to me i just gave it away. DEFINETELY take a whiff or two of the product before you buy.
