Blush -Wet 'n' Wild - Silk Finish Blush 831D Pearlescent Pink

I have this in the older silver packaging without the swirly imprint. As far as I know, they're supposed to be virtually the same product. This is a very nice blush for fair and light skintones, it adds a nice pop of color. It lasts really nicely as well, and for the price, it's a great product.

Toners -mark - Mist Opportunity Multi-Tasking Refresher [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

I rarely use this product as a toner, but it has a very special place on my makeup table. If I need to dampen a sponge or brush for blending, I use a few squirts of this. Also, when I do touch-ups at home, I spray this a couple of times to help even out my skin. I use it daily after I apply setting powder and blush to take away some of the "made up" look. I love this product, it's very gentle and well worth the price, in my opinion. The packaging is great, and I love the simple sprayer.

Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
rated 4 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:58:00 AM

I don't know if this would make my makeup last all night, but it definitely did extend the wear for me. I typically do moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer, powder, blush then a few quick spritzes of this stuff. It didn't really irritate my skin or cause breakouts, so I am considering repurchasing it.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational- Make Me Pink
rated 4 of 5

This is a nice everyday mauvey pink cream lipstick. It's very flattering on my pale skin, but I think it would work equally well on just about any skintone.

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:53:00 AM

I absolutely love this concealer. I've been using it for about 3 months and I'm not even halfway through the tube. To say a little goes a long way is an understatement. It covers very well as it is VERY pigmented. I use Light and it's about half a shade darker than I'd like, but if I blend it out a little with my foundation sponge you can't really tell. It's a wonderful product, I recommend it a lot. Update 3/2012: I've switched to the Ultra Light shade, and I still love it just as much. I am so glad Hard Candy listened to the demand and created a new shade to suit more of their customers.

Blush -MAC - Blush Ombre -Azalea Blossom
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:46:00 AM

Oh MAC, please make more blushes like this. I hate MAC's general overhypedness, but the Blush Ombre were definitely worth the hype. I am very pale and neutral and Azalea Blossom is a nice pinky flush on me. I wear this blush often and it always looks great.

Skincare - Face -MAC - Fix+
rated 1 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:43:00 AM

I am in the sad minority of people that this product didn't work for at all. I couldn't use it to foil my shadows because it made my eyes itch and burn all day long. The scent was overpowering, and it made my skin very greasy. I suspect that the greasiness is the reason that this product not only make my makeup wear off faster but also broke me out a lot. I tried the Fix + Rose as well, and it was basically the same story. I hate that MAC and YouTube gurus push this product so much because I feel like it's pretty awful.

Lipstick -Chanel - Rouge Coco in Gabrielle 19
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:40:00 AM

If I could give this product a review of 100 lipsticks, I would. It is perfect. This is the first red lipstick that has ever flattered my skintone and haircolor. It's a true red, so it doesn't look garish or pull orange on me at all. The formulation is phenomenal, and I can get a good four hours of wear out of this pretty easily. It feels so nice on the lips and it doesn't dry them out at all. The packaging is gorgeous and feels luxurious. This is the most amazing lipstick I have ever owned.

Lipstick -Chanel - Rouge Coco Satin
rated 4 of 5

Very lovely, flattering muted rosey red. I am very pale, and this is a nice, grown-up looking lip color. It's not too bold, it's got a lovely finish, and it really lasts a long time. I love everything about this lipstick.

Eyeliner -Prestige - Total Intensity Eyeliner - Fearless Teal
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:20:00 AM

HOLY HG, BATMAN. I am in love with this liner. I've tried a couple of Prestige's Total Intensity liners, and they're all awesome. I've been wearing Urban Decay 24/7 liners since they were introduced, and Prestige's liners are a smoother version of them (with fewer colors, of course.) They wear so wonderfully and even on my somewhat oily lids they only smudge after a long day of wear. Fearless Teal is a very dark blackened teal; the color reminds me a bit of MAC Greengrease Greasepaint Stick, but slightly more blue-toned. I've been searching for a liner this color for a long time, and I'm so happy I found it. It's divine, and I'll definitely purchase more from this line.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational 165 Pink of Me
rated 3 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:17:00 AM

This is one of the more mediocre Color Sensational lipsticks I've used. It's a pretty color, but there's something that holds it back from being really gorgeous. I think perhaps it would look really gorgeous on someone with a medium golden skintone vs. my very pale neutral skintone. It works, but it's just not all that and a bag of chips.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/18/2011 12:02:00 AM

While this liquid liner isn't quite as good as L'Oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip in Black Mica, it's still a DAMN good drugstore liquid liner. The tip is very precise, probably a little bit more than L'Oreal's. I like that it doesn't dry super-matte like some liquid liners tend to; it looks just a little bit more dramatic and vampy to me. It's a very rich, deep black and it wears very well. I have no complaints about it at all. The price is good, the package is good, overall it's a great DS staple.

Eye Shadow -Tokidoki - Cromatico Palette in Bastardino
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/17/2011 11:50:00 PM

Bastardino is my favorite tokidoki character, so as soon as I saw this palette I knew I had to have it. I would have liked it even if the shadows were crap, but I was pleased to find that they're not crap! They're actually nicely pigmented and they wear really well. Along with Bastardino's namesake vivid green with glitter, there's Carnivora (peachy shimmer), Riposino (milky chocolate w/ glitter), and Mummeto (rich brown matte.) Since 3 of the 4 shades are what would be considered neutral, you can easily do everyday looks with this palette then step it up for night with a shot of bright green. I am so happy with this palette, I adore it!

Eye Shadow -Tokidoki - cromatico palette in Diamante

I really like this palette a lot. The shadows are nicely pigmented, and I think the glitter makes it really fun. The packaging is awesome, and as a long-time tokidoki fan, I definitely appreciate the detail that was put in to it.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Holiday 2010 LE Sugar Plum Fairy eyeshadow palette
rated 5 of 5
slippingbeauty 2/17/2011 11:45:00 PM

I didn't expect to love this palette so much, but I really do. It makes an amazingly sexy, simple purple smoky eye as well as more subdued looks. All of the colors are so beautiful, but my favorite is the blackened purple with the purple shimmer. It's an amazing color. (If anyone knows of a pencil eyeliner this color, please PM me and let me know!) I was a little peeved at how hard these palettes were to find given the amount of hype surrounding them, but I'm glad I finally got it in the end. I hope WnW keeps up their trend of bringing new, fun, affordable products to drugstores.
