This is a pale pink color that would look best, in my opinion, on fair to light skintones. Appropriate for day or evening for any event. The formula is not very longlasting so reapplications will probably be necessary. A small price to pay for such a beatiful, widely available, and affordable color. The formula is very sheer, glossy and relatively moisturizing.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color riche star secrets - Penelope red 710

I love red lipstick. This is a very bright red, but still works on skin tones. This color can also surprisingly be used for daytime without being too overpowering. To wear it for day, however, I would suggest blotting with a tissue after application. A great lipstick for me.

Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Focus in Click

I adore this color, a dark brown/taupey-charcoal. This is a great crease color for both day and evening, especially for those of us with super pale skin. This shade looks incredible applied wet and put all over the eye for a smokey eye effect for evening. This color has a slight shimmery finish but no glitter. Another huge Lancome hit for me!!!!

I love this color as wash shade, a matte neutral beige taupe that goes with everything. My eyes but bette, and I really enjoy wearing this shade.

Lipstick -New York Color - 309B Sheer Red

I am a total pink, mauve, rose, and red lipstick kind of person and fell in love with this color at first sight. The color is sheer and glossy and dramatic without being bright or screaming at you, "Hey, look I am wearing dark red lipstick." For reference I am a PPP and always have somewhat of a difficulty finding flattering red lip colors, but this is truly one of my all-time favotites.

Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lip Wear Air Kiss

I love the NYC brand thus far. Cheap and excellent quality for the prices you pay. The Air Kiss shade is a sheer reddish rosey color that can be played up or down upon application. The formulation is not sticky or drying and the packaging is cute and chic. I love these lipsticks and plan to repurchase this and other colors as well. I tried a new look with this color. Wear this with Lancome Color Design Lipsticks in Curtain Call and All Done-up. The result is a beautiful sheer, bright rose/fuschia color with aslight berry/red undertone.

Eye Shadow -Sonia Kashuk - Sweet Nothings Eye Shadow Pallette

This good pallette for those of us who look best in neutral colors. The colors are a silvery gray, silvery taupe, a white-bone, matte sandy golden beige, and a peach color. My favorites are the grey, taupe, and peach. The kit has all natural and wearable colors which is a rarity at least in eye shadow pallettes. The compact also contains an eye shadow base that works pretty well, a mirror, and a double-sided eye shadow applicator. All in all good pigment, formulation, and quailty; convient and simple packaging; a dose of special features at an affordable price. i don;t see myself running out of these colors any time soon because you get a lot for your money. I would more than likely repurchase this.

Lipstick -Lancome - Colour Design Vintage Rose

This has to be one of my favorite lipsticks of all time. I usually go for pinks, reds, mauves, and rose colors; so this is right up my alley. The color is a very subtle natural-looking pinkish rose color that is appropriate for almost any time, look, or occassion. The packaging is a very simple and sleek black tube with a color swatch on the bottom. Overall Lancome, Urban Decay, Neutrogena, Sonia Kashuk,NYC, and Cover Girl are my favorite brands and I love this lipstick!

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowgirl Eyeshadow

I love this one as well. I use this on the browbone mostly. This shadow is very elegant and classy looks great with other neutral shades as well as slightly metallic shades. The color is a subtle golden beige with gold glitter. It looks wonderful on the browbone with Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy and Lancome's Waif as wash and lid shades (possibly UD's Sellout too haven't tried it yet but will write a review when I purchase it,) Lancome's Click and UD's Midnight Cowboy Rides Again as the crease colors. A wearable and beautiful shadow that is a certain repurchase for me.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowboy Rides Again

Urban Decay is an expert at making beautiful eyeshadow, especially colors that are neutrals with a twist. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again is no exception either. I wear this one both days and evenings in the crease along with Lancome's Click, Midnight Cowboy and Lancome's Waif as a wash and lid shades, and Midnight Cowgirl overtop everything and on my browbones. This color is slightly darker than Midnight Cowboy and cowgirl and also looks great alone. This one contains both gold and silver glitter making the entire look mentioned above a "neutral with oomph!" masterpiece in my opinion. I'm thinking about purchasing UD'd new shade called "Sellout", a pinkish-champagne beige with few sparkles, to add to the list of "lid and wash" shades in the above look. Get this one its very versatile and pretty and you will not regret it. (Especially if you enjoy sparkly eyeshadow}.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Midnight Cowboy

Personally, I adore this eye shadow. It looks awesome alone, with its to UD partners in crime Midnight Cowboy Rides Again and Midnight Cowgirl, or with other neutral shadows such as Lancome's Click and Waif. The color itself is a shimmery beige with lots of silver glitter. As so many have already mentioned, the glitter can be a tad messy and land on your cheek, however, I think its still an awesomr staple in my collection. I would definately repurchase this one along with the other to "Midnight" shadows from UD because they are of excellent quality, unique and wearable colors, cute packaging and the list goes on and on. I am also eager to try more UD eyeshadows including a new shade called "Sellout" that is supposed to be a pinky-champagne beige that looks good with the "Midnight" shadows but without the glitter. I love these shadows!!!!

Toners -Almay - Toner 2 for dry skin with cucumber

This toner is the first I have ever used and it is totally awesome. Its nondrying yet still very good at cleaning the pores and tightening and refining them. The sacyllic acid makes the product good at treating and preventing breakouts. The finished look of my skin is health dewy and glowing when I use these three products together. Each are strong on their own too if you already have a favorite cleanser, toner/astringent, or moisturizer you want to use any of these products with. The packaging is quite aimple and convienent for all of the steps and has to be my favorite featurw of the toner itself making the process totally mess-free. i do, however, want to try Mario Badescu's Cucumber Cream Soapand Cucumber Cleansing Lotion to use with the daily moisturizer from this wonderful set by Almay to satisfy my curiosity. P.S. I also want to try the Enzyme Cleansing Gel and Rolling Cream Peel with AHA once a week for exfoliation purposes, the Drying Lotion, Seaweed Night Cream, and Non-Oily Eye makeup remover Gel. If any one has any comments on these six Mario Badescu products please let me know.

Cleansers -Almay - Cleansing Lotion 1 for dry skin with cucumber

All in all, I like this product. It's very effective and gentle and leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed. I have had no more flakes or zits with the Almay skincare line for dry skin as a whole and I love all three products and how they work in concert together. I would repurchase because it is a nice cleanser that does well on my face with only a few complaints from me. I am, however, wanting to try Mario Badescu's Cucumber Cream Soap just to satisfy my growing curiosity about the brand, but if that does not do well for me I know I always will have a back-up plan. THEY DO NOT MAKE THESE CLEANSERS, TONERS, AND MOISTURIZERS ANYMORE WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WERE THE ONLY PRODUCTS THAT WORKED FOR MY SKIN TYPE!!!!!! :(

Moisturizers -Almay - Daily Moisturizer 3 for dry skin with cucumber

My all-time favorite facial moisturizer. This one really meets expectations and goes far above and beyond what I thought it would be. This product leaves my skin hydrated and dewy all day without the stickiness associated with moisturizers developed for dry skin. it has an extremely light fresh abd clean cucumber scent. It also contains SPF 15 which is a must for my very pale skin. I would definately rebuy this.

Mascara -Lancome - Flextencils

HG mascara for me. I use the black shade and it really defines, separates, lengthens, and curls my lashes. The results last all day without any clumping, flaking, smudging, smearing, or irritation. The mascara comes in a very chic glossy, curvy, black tube with gold lettering and the Lancome rose emblem. I love this mascara and that will never change. Update: This beauty is being discontinued according to the official Lancome USA website. I am sooo sad. This was my all-time favorite mascara of any brand and/or price range. If anyone knows of any mascara that provides the same effects as this without clumping, flaking, smudging, or smearing please post a review to this affect stating that it's like Flextencils underneath the appropriate product on MakeupAlley.
