Very harsh on the hair, color was way darker than the one on the box. It eliminated all of my natural highlights (I picked brazilian brown - med golden brown). I was extremely disappointed with this product. Good conditioner though.

I love this product in Sangria (med reddish brown)! I leave it on a little less than recommended and I get a VERY natural looking dark auburn. This mixture is also very nourishing. It leaves my hair very shiny and in better condition than before I dye. I wish the conditioner came in a squeeze tube and not a little packet though.
I am 25 years old and I decided to try this product to cover the few grays hairs I have around my crown and also to add some shine and nice color to my hair. My natural hair color is a golden medium brown, shoulder length, and curly. I decided to go with a medium reddish brown. The dye was easy to apply, and didn't seem to have a terrible smell. It did, however, drip all over the place. The initial results were MUCH darker than I expected and the roots were flaming red. I was hoping it would just brighten the color without everyone noticing that I dyed it, but I was wrong. After 2 weeks of constant shampooing, the color was exactly what I wanted - med brown with red highlights in the sun. Although I liked the final result, I can't live with that bright red so I won't use this product again. I was, however, impressed that it didn't damage my hair and I love the conditioner that it comes with. Since then, I've tried Feria and Nutrisse and I love Nutrisse and will stick with that (in Sangria)
