Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara
TinaGreece 3/5/2006 4:54:00 AM
Ok, so I saw the hype and got this on e-bay (this specific one not available in Greece). Well, it does accentuate lashes with many strokes, the brush is ok- forget about thinking it curls them, i use a lash curler- it's rather dry, but in a good way so that lashes don't stick so much, but it does flake towards the end of the day and get's on my upper lid alot when I apply! I will use it, but it's no cigar that's for sure. P.S I have it in Very Black, non waterproof.

Lotions/ Creams -Dove - Dove SUNSHINE LOTION for normal or dark coloured skin
TinaGreece 3/5/2006 4:31:00 AM
This is something similar to the Johnsons one which was out last year, which was really good, but smelled awful. Dove's one has two, for lighter coloured skin, and the normal/dark coloured, I have the latter. I tan really easily, and seeing I would never choose to go to the solarium or use self tanners, I like these products for a bit more oomph in my colour a bit before summer. It's not a self tan, but does enhance a deeper shade than your natural colour, so it looks really natural, and this one smells gorgeous!!! I just rub all over as I would my body lotion after showering, wait until it absorbs well before getting dressed (about 2,3 minutes) then wash my hands thoroughly. Do not apply on face.

Treatments -Estee Lauder - Future Perfect Anti wrinkle radiance cream dry skin spf15
TinaGreece 2/27/2006 11:43:00 AM
I took some lippies off, seeing I prefer moistrizers in pump bottles, and not jars, and because I don't know the price, seeing I used a sample. (But I reckon it aint cheap!) anyway, I like the fact it contains sunscreen, and I really look for a moisturiser not to leave me shiny, and this did just that (not leave me shiny). It felt very moisturising and made my skin feel supple. Also a great base for make-up. Overall a nice product.

Treatments -Avene - Anti-redness rich moisturizing cream 10B-10A
TinaGreece 2/27/2006 11:35:00 AM
I took some lippies off, seeing I don't think this is rather suitable for my skin as I don't have red patches etc. This is for dry to very dry sensitive skin, I have dry/normal skin. Overall, it seems like a nice moisturising cream (I tried the sample) it has a light green mint colour (barely), and it also contains spf. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave any shine. Nice product.

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - LUX-STAR SHINE-BATH GEL
TinaGreece 2/19/2006 2:11:00 PM
Wow!!! I have NEVER written a review on sth I find so ordinary as a lux bath gel, but this one is amazing! It smells just like Champs Ellysee by Guerlain! There is definitely a gardenia thing happening with this one! I really look forward to having a shower cause of this! And it gets you squeaky clean too! And you all know this is dirt cheap too! Go lux go!(FYI It's a deep blue colour)

Treatments (Eye) -Clarins - Extra-Firming Eye Contour Serum
TinaGreece 2/17/2006 6:40:00 AM
Hmmm....I bought this seeing I needed to have a specific sum to be able to pay by credit card in installments, and since I needed an eye cream etc. I landed on this one. I like the fact that it comes in a pump also. It is a seathrough gel/cream texture, it does moisturise nicely without leaving any shine at all, and is a great base for concealer. I've been using it for about 3,4 weeks, and basically I have one question, where is the firming?????(I'm 31 with fine lines) It does diminish the look of fine lines when you apply, but only for a few hours. It had 44 euros- which believe me is a bargain in Greece! (but thats another story) So, to sum up, basically, I have seen no difference in my eye area, I'm quite disappointed and think it's a waste of money. I think I could find sth similar in a much cheaper brand if all I wanted was moisture.

Treatments (Eye) -La Prairie - Cellular Eye Moisturizer SPF15
TinaGreece 2/4/2006 5:49:00 AM
I have noticed I have tolerant skin to nearly all products. That's why I was amazed with this- it burned my eye area, and made it teary -throughout the whole day!I even called to close an appointment with my occulist cause I felt scared- once I got back home I couldn't wait to wash my face, and I noticed small red dots right under my eye area! This is so disappointing, as I thought it would be a great eye product. So, I tried it for a second time thinking maybe it wasn't caused from this product. The exact, and I mean exact thing happened again. Very upset and disappointed.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Petticoat [DISCONTINUED]
TinaGreece 2/2/2006 6:25:00 AM
Ok, so I'm on my way to the checkout counter when this product grabs my eye. It looked so gorgeous and girly, i couldn't resist! It's rather big, so I'm sure I'll have it for ages, seeing a little of this goes a long way. It's a pink colour with strieks of gold, bown shimmer. I only use as blush, and if i go overboard, i apply some loose powder on top, gives a nice shimmer, and am sure will look even better for summer. Just don't use too much!Update: why don't i learn? i always end up buying these MSF's and swap them away, they emphasize my pores and make me look sweaty/slimy, and i have dry skin!

Concealers -MAC - Select Moisturecover
TinaGreece 1/29/2006 5:28:00 AM
Ok, after forking over the cash for LaPrairie concealer -AND SUCKED! made me look 10 yrs older!- I went asap to buy another one and landed on this one! What i look for ALWAYS is a concealer NOT to accentuate fine lines damn it! (is that asking 4 TOO much???) anyway, bought this in NC15, very brightening, and very moisturising, and does NOT accentuate fine lines!- hey someone call the press!- I dab it on my finger (for sanitary reasons) and apply generously as it will not build up and cake eye area. It will not make eyes look tired throughout the day, but sometimes i will reapply after 5,6 hours, so i dont know if thats positive, but will not destroy the look when reapplied, so thats just fine. I dont use mascara on my under eye lashes, but kohl liner and my liner did go under my eyes after a couple of hours, so have to be careful with that, and will look into a loose powder to set it. Overall, a great product! Will repurchase.EDIT: I don't know if I was applying this wrong, but getting the feel of it now, it stays put ALL day! I love it! And no creases!!!!! EDIT: BEHOLD! I have at last found something better!!! My HG!!! Bobbi Brown Corrector (as concealer) the best!

Lip Gloss -Bourjois - Rose Idyllic - 3D Effet
TinaGreece 1/29/2006 5:15:00 AM
This is a lovely lipgloss and i love the colour! not cheap looking at all! What i do before wearing this, is use a natural rose/brown natural lipliner, then fill my lips with a natural rose lipstick to keep it from looking too frosty (because og the concealer applied before on my lips) then put this on top. It has great staying power, and when i eat sth and wipe my lips and don't reapply, it settles into a nice natural pinky colour. The only tiny drawback is, if your lips have small flakes etc, it will kinda define them, so make sure your lips are smooth. Will definitely repurchase. (I'm wearing it in my pics labelled "ME!!!!" and "Lazy hazy sat. morning")

Fragrances -Ralph Lauren - Glamourous
TinaGreece 1/29/2006 5:04:00 AM
I just loveeeeeeeeee this fragrance! It's sweet, lasts, romantic, has glowy depth, and it's scent reminds me of warm, lovely nights in spring/summer- even though i had bought this around xmas time, and loved it! It has a beautiful clean scent without feeling it's a shower based product. Great for all hours!

Shampoo -Korres - Aloe and Soapwort pH Neutral Shampoo for Frequent Use
TinaGreece 1/25/2006 8:16:00 AM
I hate this shampoo, I don't know where the aloe is in this product, seeing that it leaves my hair rough and dull. I have to pile on a hair mask afterwards. It is not foamy at all and in gemeral makes my hair brittle. The scent is extremely mild but in a surgical kind of way. Will definitely not re-purchase. *I have dry/normal hair*

Polishes -Maybelline - Ultra Lasting-Deep Purple- 20
TinaGreece 1/24/2006 4:13:00 PM
I loveeeeeeee this colour for winter! It's a really dark colour like a deep deep wine colour, without looking at ALL tacky, seeing this kind of colour I find to be tricky. It goes well with most colours in clothing and looks superb. (Just make sure you don't have really long nails for this one) But, the only downside is,it has a nice shine, but if you apply two much (heavy application) it gets abit bumpy and today i noticed it would rub off on paper like a crayon! I swear i could have written with my nails! so that is rather disturbing! but the colour is gorgeous!

Treatments -Elizabeth Arden - Illuminating Skin Complex
TinaGreece 1/24/2006 3:49:00 PM
Ok, only been using this for a couple of days, but so far it just seems like an ordinary moisturiser (i know it's not a moisturiser) with nothing special. I found it on e-bay for 20 euros (here it had 55 euros) and thought i'd give it a go, i just hope I'll see at least some sort of improvement. Good thing is, it's nice enough to wear am and pm before moisturiser, as applies smoothly and offers suppleness, unlike Clarins (in my reviews) which yes was shiny, but glowy results immediately. Will definitely update.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Repairwear Day SPF 15 Cream
TinaGreece 1/24/2006 3:40:00 PM
After contemplating for so long what to get (the lotion or cream version) I got a sample for dry skin (I'm 31 with dry skin) seeing in Greece it has 100 euros and I want to be sure! Well, my first priority is for a cream not to make me shine, and this was rather shiny. That said, it did go on nicely and offers suppleness but would not repurchase, it didn't dazzle me. If I don't find sth else- trying some other samples now- will purchase the lotion version.
