I LOVE this brush!~~ It's amazing. The bristles are uber soft. The handle is nice.. Nice weight and feel to it. I've washed it several times and have experienced no shedding (besides the initial little bit when I first washed it, which is to be expected). The application is beautiful. I just love it!! I own several other eyeshadow brushes (all cost more than this one) and I prefer ELF's brush hands down.. It's the perfect size and shape and angle for my eyes.. It works for regular shadow application, blending,, highlighting.. whatever you need, eye related.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Total Face Brush

I have the red haired version of this brush (there's a brown one listed in the pictures, too) and I don't really care for it. When I first got it, the bristled wreaked to high heavens.. Just smelled dirty and chemically. I washed it (as I do all my makeup brushes) and OMG the amount of crap that came out of it... was scary. It's most likely the paint or whatever you'd call it, from dying the bristles the red color.. But I could only imagine if that were on my face.. Not a good situation. Also, before I washed it, the bristles were UBER rough. Once it was washed, the smell significantly diminished, as did the horrible texture.. But even after all that.. I still don't care for it.. But it's so cheap.. Can't really be mad.. Esp when they are also responsible for the brush I adore. (Studio Powder Brush)

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

I'll have to redo this review as well.. I initially didn't like this product.. Mainly because of the tip. It had this weird string at the end. I tried clipping it to make it even with the rest of the end, and initially, it didn't work. Well, weeks later (I'm not sure what happened between then and now) I grabbed this on accident because it looks identical to Revlon's Colorstay Pen, and it actually worked fairly well. I was surprised because I don't like Revlon's pen at all. The "black" isn't black at all.. It's this light grey.. unless you hold it at a weird angle, in which you don't get the precision you need.. But anyway, I was going through my purse after the fact and came across the Revlon pen.. and was like, Woah.. If this wasn't what I was using.... What WAS I using? It was the ELF pen, I once hated. The only thing I don't care for with this, and it could just be me... Is that it is no where NEAR waterproof. My eyes water a lot.. And even after it's been set for quite a while, the tiniest bit of moisture completely removes it.. and does simply wiping it with your finger removes it. Now, I understand that if you rub the eyeliner, it's bound to smudge at the least.. But this stuff completely comes off, just like a normal eyeliner (non water proof) would. So, I would NOT repurchase this item unless they reformulated it to be a true waterproof item.. But if they gave it more staying power, I definitely would.

Overall I like this duo. Works very nicely as a shadow base. I wouldn't use this alone as a eyeshadow.. It's too messy and won't stay alone. It needs a powder to set it. You also have to be sure to only use a tiny amount.. Otherwise it looks cakey and just unappealing. The price is excellent and I think it's well worth the money to give it a try. The darker color is a nice brown color.. Good for a smokey eye base for a dark color.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Red Pink

I see some people don't like this shadow.. I love it. It's SUPER pink. Really really pink. So if that's not what you want.. You definitely don't want this color. Looks great with punk type looks.. or if you blend it with a little black (like in a smokey eye) it turns into a really nice purple color. It's a great color if you know how to work with it.. One thing I do have to agree with.. is that it does stain your eyelids a little bit.. In my experience it only lasts until I shower. (like, I'll wash my face the night before and it'll still be a little pink but when I shower in the morning, it's not pink anymore) I honestly think that's just because it's so intense.. Some MAC pigments/shadows do the exact same thing. It doesn't irritate my skin at all.. so I am not personally worried about that.

Eyeliner -NYX - Seafoam Green

I like this pencil a lot. The color is gorgeous.. It's a shimmery greenish-turquoise color.. It reminds me of a mermaid. It goes on nicely (doesn't snag/etc). It sharpens nicely. ( a lot of cheap pencils break at the tip when you sharpen it, and keep breaking and breaking so you never can get a true point ever again) The price is great. The packaging is great and professional looking. I'd definitely get this again and will be trying their other colors when I have money. ^ ^

Eye Shadow -NYX - All Shades

I love the NYX singles and NYZ Ultra Pearls. They are amazing. Great color. Awesome pigmentation. They are so inexpensive and since they're pigmented, it'll last quite a long time. These are the only lower end eyeshadows that I think have high end quality. (I've tried, StarsMakeup Haven, ELF (elf eyeshadows are ok... but their other products are much better in my opinion) Maybeline, Cover Girl (CG is ok as well but gives me a headache) and etc and none of them worked well with me.. they were chalky.. powdery, not pigmented and just looked horrible and they actually give me a headache for some odd reason)

Revamping my previous review. Now that I've become more experienced as a makeup user, I can say this product is pretty good. I still wouldn't use this alone without anything on top... But it's good as a base.. you just have to be careful as it is black and will transfer before you set it.

Lipstick -NYX - Lipstick (In General)

I have Mute and Castle. I love Mute. It's a very pale, shimmery beige color. The texture is nice, smooth and it doesn't have a weird smell or taste like some lipsticks have. I love the packaging.. It looks very nice and far more expensive than it really is. I bought Castle for a friend. It looks nice.. but it's a lot "purpler" than it looked in the swatch.. It's like a greyish purple. (if that makes any sense) It would be best for darker skin tones or for a gothic/punk look.

I love these little guys. They are so cute and though, the bottle looks very small, trust me when I say that big things come out of that small package. I depotted the pigment because I don't care for trying to pound out the shadow every time I want to use it, and I couldn't believe how much product came out. It filled 2 1/2 of the containers I bought!! (to describe the amount the containers held, you'd need like a 5 gram sifter jar (large) in order to comfortably (and neatly) hold all of the pigment) And I found each bottle online for a ridiculously cheap price. The color payout is also amazing. I haven't tried all the colors yet but every one I've used so far is amazing. (I bought Jade, White, Nude, Space, Mocha, Fanta, Baby Blue, Baby Pink, Lilac, Mink, Lime) (all are Pearls, so it's White Pearl, etc)

Eye Shadow -NYX - Black

I love this color. It is SO black!! You can use it alone as an eyeliner, it's so black. It's also super pigmented. If you don't want a true true black, do not get this!! If you are looking for a straight up, black ink, black, this is what you need. It's even darker than MAC's Carbon color. I love it. It's amazing.

Eye Shadow -NYX - 3 Color Eyeshadow

I don't have any of the trios pictured.. But I do have the Hippie-Chic and Anti-diva trios and I don't care for them. They aren't "horrible" but I definitely wouldn't buy them again. They are hardly pigmented at all.. Especially the lighter colors. (like the white, pearly white and light purple). If you are looking for a pigmented eyeshadow, go for the NYX singles. They are leaps and bounds better, in my opinion.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Jumbo Eye Pencil - Pots and Pans

I love silver or anything chrome like. This pencil is really nice to use just as an eyeliner. I don't know that I'd use it as a shadow base, like the other pencils are used for.. But I'm sure it's possible. The consistency is like a soft wax. If you do use this as a base, definitely go over it with some kind of powder to set it. If you use it as an eyeliner, I would suggest it as well.. Even if it's just a little bit of translucent powder.. Otherwise it is likely to smear all over.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Herb eyeshadow

I realllyy like NYX single eyeshadow. I have yet to buy one I don't like. (I have 4 so far and plan on getting more) Herb is a pea type green. Some same it's a dupe for a MAC eyeshadow. I forget the name. I don't own MAC (except like 2 pigments) so I couldn't tell you. I do like the color. The consistency is nice. The packaging is nice. It's very pigmented. You don't need to use much at all. It looks very good with a smokey eye or layered/blending look.
