This just may be the best bronzer I have ever used. It's the only color I own that I don't need to put on a blush too. (I put on blush and bronzer) It's a shimmery bronze with a hint of pink and red. It gives my face such a healthy glow. I put it on my cheeks, nose and a tad on my forehead. I've used it on a few of my friends.. darker and lighter than me, and it looks amazing on any skin tone.. love it, so happy I picked this one to purchase!
I use to wear carbon e/s for my liner all of the time, but I switched to this because my carbon eye shadow broke TWICE!!! i bought one, and it shattered once it fell to the ground brand new, and i bought another one, and shortly after it broke too. Now i'm left with impossible to remove black stains all over everything. Anyway, lol, I switched to this. It has a better consistency. It's more powdery of a texture, as carbon is like sidewalk chalk. It's a deep navy, and it goes very well with my eye color to make them stand out. If I want to go darker, i'll just put a touch of black liner around the outer corners and under my eyes... perfect! ;)
I love this eye liner. It has been my favorite for maybe a year or so. I was previously using blacktrack fluidline, and it was great and all, but it faded throughout the day for me. I wasn't impressed with it. But with this liquidlast liner, it goes on BLACK. and it stays put throughout the day (even the next morning) If i want a thin line, I'll use the brush it came with. But if i want a thicker line or if i want to smoke my eye liner, i'll use a small applicator brush. Definitely my HG. I have this in all the colors!!
This is the only deodorant I buy now. I wear button down dress shirts to work every day and I use to get big sweat circles under my arm pits... how embarrassing!!! but, when i purchased this, that never happened again! this is miracle deodorant! lol.. it's a little pricey compared to others, but it's worth it!
I really like this color. I don't use it alone, I use it over my blush and it gives my face a golden frosty shimmer that looks gorgeous. Will definately repurchase.
I really like this product. After I apply my foundation, i dab a little under my eyes and in the corners with my ring finger. (Your ring finger is the most gentle finger) and i pat it under my eyes until it has blended in. And i do the same where I want a little highlight. Such as the bridge of my nose, my cheeks, or forehead. It gives a whitish, pink healthy glow. It gives the appearance of being fresh and radiant. I really love it. It reflects from under my eyes so any appearance of dark circles after my foundation is applied, is gone. :)
I liked this product. I got really high hopes that It was going to give my face an "airbrushed" look, but it didn't really. You can still see my rosy cheeks through the powder. I did not try it wet, I still have to do that. It is a good powder though, no doubt. You can probably compare it to MAC Studio Fix Powder. It's just not the greatest color selection. I don't think the color I purchased matches my neck that well if used alone. It's slightly neutral (beige) and I need a color thats a little more golden yellow. I got Cypress Beige. I have a tan NC35 skin tone. I use it now, after I applied my foundation, I dust this over my face and put it under my eyes for extra under eye coverage. It works very well, and stays put. I would probably repurchase if I was looking for an inexpensive powder.
*Sigh* Dear Maybelline, Why do you have to name this "XXL Extensions" and It doesn't give me "lash extensions"?? I bought this because Maybelline was 50% off at the store a little while ago. I've been using it, but I reaaaallllly realllllly dislike it. You have to put the white layer on 1st, and really, you should probably only put it near the ends of your lashes if you want legnth. But if you decide to coat all of your lashes with it because you want volume AND length.. you're going to have heck of a time covering it all with the black side. One thing I really don't like is, that the brush on both sides are exactly the same. Shouldn't the brush on the white side be smaller or something, or at least the brush on the mascara side be bigger?? Well, whatever. It doesn't give me any extra length.. and it flakes off during the day, because by the end of the night my lashes are all GRAY. because the black is going bye bye and the white is going hiii!!!! I do like how black it is, if it worked it would be amazing, but it didn't do it for me :( And I will not repurchase.
Let's see.. This mascara isn't that bad. It doesn't really do anything for the length of my lashes, but you can build your lashes with it with more coats. I like a lot of volume, and this didn't really do it for me, but I have this for a back up in case I run out of the good stuff.
I use this for my brows. It looks really shimmery in the pot, but when you put it on, it really doesn't show up. I use to use MAC "espresso" to color my brows, but it made my brows look so harsh and drawn in, even though its great, and the staying power is great.. but this e/s goes on more natural.. and has a golden brown hue to it, rather than a dark ash brown like espresso. I think this color works better for me.. matches with my hair color better.. and overall gives me a more natural brow. I will continue using this to fill in my brows. If you'd like to see a picture, my profile pic i used this on my brows. I used this eyeshadow with MAC 266 angled brush.
These are so amazing. I bought it after I read all of the positive reviews on the Sally Beauty Supply website. I always tried to get my hair to have celebrity looking waves and loose curls.. and this is the only thing that achieved that look for me. You can make loose curls, tight curls, large curls, small curls, make your ends go in, out, anything! AND, the best part is, it takes only a couple of mins to get them in your hair.. and at the most, 15 mins to let it set. Curling every strand with a curling iron is SO time consuming and would take me a least an hour. This saves so much time.
This is the first lipstick ever that I purchased 3 at a time. I thought it was a limited edition color. I've been trying to discover this color for years!!!!!!!! If you're into neutrals. BUY THIS. i applied it to all of my friends with different skin tones and it was flattering on everyone. I have a collection of Myth, Cherish, Freckle-tone, Hue, Honeylove, Underplay, Faux, Sandy b, etc! I can throw them all in the garbage and just use this color. AND, its so creamy and shiny. It doesn't dry my lips.. it keeps them moisturized all day. It is the perfect shade of baby pink with a touch of beige. My HG was actually a NARS color Honolulu Honey. It's very similar, but the MAC Shygirl has alittle more of a pink hue. SO pretty! And costs less than NARS :-) I LOVE YOU, SHYGIRL!
I am horrified to see that this product has a rating of only 59%! I have been through so many foundations. I've tried them all, believe me. My HG foundations include: MAC Studio Fix Fluid, MUFE Face & Body and MUFE Mat Velvet. I have dry to normal skin. I ran across buying this actually, because I was at the MAC counter to buy another studio fix, or to try their face and body foundation. I asked what the coverage was like, and the lady told me its heavier than fix fluid. I'm always up to try med-full coverage make-up so I bought a tube, and the concealer as well. I purchased NC37. And NW25 in the concealer. Let me tell you what I really like about this product. For one, I like that it's in a squeeze tube, it is so much more convenient carrying around in your purse, AND i can't tell you how many times my bottle of fix fluid fell from my hands and shattered on the ground. Plus, there is more product. It is 1.3 oz compared to the typical 1 oz. The consistency is very creamy, moussy or gel-like. I really like it, it is very light. I just squirt a little in my palm and use my stipple brush. And BAM. My face is completely flawless. I then brush my face with a little bronzer and translucent powder. You will need to set it with a powder. It does give a dewy effect. (Which i like in this warm weather now, i look so healthy and revived) I find that the staying power is amazing, and it covers every impurity without looking cakey. You really do not need a lot of product. I typically use a lot of product because I like to pack on my makeup, but this spreads so well and covers so well.. you don't need a lot. Start out with a tiny bit on your hand and use your stipple brush and stipple it all over your face until well blended. repeat for extra coverage. What I also like is, I exercise indoors and out every single day, twice a day. I wear this sometimes, and my make-up still stays great. Also, if you need to reapply in a certain area (if you blew your nose or something), and you put more product on your face, it doesn't get muddy. It blends perfectly. I wore this every day on my trip last month, and my vacation pictures came out great. If you didn't find it to work for you, my advice is to give it another try, try it with a stipple brush with not a lot of product, and make sure your face is moisturized. And set it with a powder. Not too much powder. I just take my powder brush and dust my face with a tiny bit of powder. Ask for a tester before you buy the tube if you're skeptical!
I can't seem to get this to work :( When i put it on.. it doesn't look like the pan. It goes on with a reddish purple tint. And it looks like i got socked in the face. I tried it a handful of times.. and i just gave up. I tried it with no makeup on my face to see if it had something to do with my foundation, but it wasn't. it looked the same way with no makeup, with powder, or liquid.
I got a sample size of this product from Sephora. It's a pearly beige watery cream. I was just going to throw it in the drawer, but I decided to try it. And, I'm so glad I did. I mixed a little bit with my foundation and applied it, and then put a little more in my palm, and with my MAC 187 stipple brush, stippled some under my eyes, cheeks and nose. It really made my foundation look more dewy and natural. The glow lasted all day. I'm going to have to go back and buy the full size!
