Gorgeous colour. This goes well over lipsticks, helps tone down my darker ones and looks good n pigmented on its own. I have pigmented lips and this covers them well and looks cute. Garners compliments when worn on its own.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - Color Infallible Eyeshadow Eternal Black 14

Lasts ages. I generally use smoulder pencil by MAC, smudged all over lid as a base. Then i top it with this loreal one wettened on eyeliner brush, to line with. Looks beautiful. I do think drugstore prices are rising too much but maybe this one is still worth it. I agree with arisatomi's remark that you have to use this wet, and that the chunky glitter fallout REALLY irritates my eyes.
Beautiful. It is exaaaactly like itrs that i can buy in pakistan or saudi arabia so i wont rebuy, because those are far stronger, less expensive, and smell better. However this is beautiful for now while i am stuck in n america (just kidding i like it here).. No but seriously i was telling DH how it reminds me sooo much of the perfumes they use to scent the mosques in Makkah n Madinah and i come on mua and find out it was inspired by monasteries in tibet! Pretty cool... Definitely has that unique gorgeous scent that are used in places of worship then! I thought i was just imagining it! The solid perfume lasts long and smells fresh but smoky and very similar to typical (much cheaper) perfume i can get in the middle east but with a lighter feel like fresh wafts of morning breezes, which makes it different. . Ps dh uses it not me, i prefer vanillary. If anyone from lush is reading this plllzzz bring back HIWTK solid perfume!!! That has nothing to do with this review, forgive me.
I got this as a gift from a relative but I must go and buy a bottle now that mine is done. It's addictive and beautifully composed... Seamless transition from green smelling to fruity to deeper more perfumey blend with vanilla. I love it so much.
I love this. The pleasant wafts of it throughout the day are uplifting. The people around me compliment it and i often get asked what perfume it is. Very gorgeous scent, an earthy vanilla with jasmine. . I have the spray (thin bottle) and honestly the packaging sucks. Was leaking in my lush bag before i even got home. . Anyway i love this scent tho there is something off putting and sharp... As if, powdery vanilla, soft jasmine... And then something burnt and acrid. But i actually like that, tho most ppl wouldn't i bet. I love this perfume because it is smokey floral with a tinge of vanilla. Has that distinctive sweatiness n sharpness to it that i have noticed with most of this Gorilla line. That might put you off...i certainly don't like it. I think it's one negative thing aside from packaging.... Thus four lippies.
Simple, good. Won't remove foundation properly. Doesn't lather, but i presume that's good as lather betrays SLS, which is drying and stupid.

My experience mirrors that of blog_antagonist. There's no reason for me to chirp in as u can just read hers, however, i am driven by malicious intent to lower the rating further. I wasted good money on crap. Breakouts, hello. in random place (nose) where i NEVER break out. this happened thrice (each time i used it, that same night). / Made foundation streak n slide no matter how long i wait after application. It actually decreased the longevity of my foundation n concealer, and i tried it out many many times with several different brands ( dior airflash revlon photoready bobbi brown stick bare minerals powder annnnd l'oreal ideal balance). Oh and btw, for the losers who down vote a review if they happen to worship the prod, MUA is for freedom of speech and speaking your mind, please get a life.

Sucks. When i didn't know any better, or actually, when i felt guilt that i was basically wasting my dad's hard-earned money on unnecessary stuff, i would get this. I knew it wasn't good quality ( hard to apply, fades, poor pigmentation) but my priority was basically to get my makeup fix but not waste money. Now i know better: if budgeting is a concern, please spend just a few bucks more to get covergirl liquiline, for example. or any better quality product. This one is a total waste whereas if u spend just a bit more at least you will get more use out of it!
Although i like Lush products generally, their fragrances are repulsive (except for hiwtk which they dont sell now). This one is only mildly unpleasant by comparison, and i almost like it...
Aside from feeling cooling and pleasant to put on, this only garners minus points from me. How do i hate this, let me count the ways... ' Oxidizes. Very unnatural finish that looks cakey and fake no matter howww u apply. Lasting power is nil. Bad packaging imo. Causes pimples to form. Skin looks better without it; gives skin a sickly, dull, ashy look. So that is five reasons not to buy. One lippie because i am trying to salvage it by using it to turn any lipstick more nude and softer, for which it works well.
My mom uses lots of good perfumes including some you can't find in department stores. This one kinda reminds me of her Opium one, except that one has more warmth to it and this smells cold, with less depth and weak staying power. It makes me sneeze and gives me an innnnssstant headache, but i'm not taking lippies off for that. The problem is the staying power, the lack of depth, the chemical blast smell, and that it is too expensive for what it is. Smells like cheap deo to me or, as previous reviewer stated, hairspray. Hairspray and wilted flowers.
Highlighters -Christian Dior - Shimmer Powder 002 Amber Diamond, Spring 08
blooiejagwa 10/12/2011 10:26:00 AM
I used this prod on my first wedding day (In my culture we have three wedding ceremony days minimum). The other two days i had m/u professionally done. Personally, i thought i looked best that first day, and the pictures turned out pretty too. This has visible glitter though it is finely milled. It photographs really well and is good for special occasions. I prefer Lorac oil free luminizing powder now, for every day; it looks more natural and soft focus but maybe toooo subtle for some. This DIor one also can be usedas e/s!
Waste of money. End result is ugly no matter what application method I utilize. Clumps? Difficult to work with? Weighs down my already curly lashes so they look sparse and droopy? Uneven (opposite of fanned out) effect? Waterproof quality sucks? Yes to all of the above.

Thank God i had presence of mind to request a sample rather than base a purchase on the initial beautiful scent. Amazing cute sweet fragrance... Problem: fades instantly... Ie 30 min approx before it just dies except for a very faint scent if u really sniff ur skin. Worth the price? Nopes. Am sick of drugstore quality, high end prices.
Highlighters -LORAC - Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder in Spotlight
blooiejagwa 10/11/2011 12:11:00 PM
Another item i bought only because of MUA raves... I have Dior's Amber diamond, but this is much better... More realistic and luminous effect. Other than being overpriced (esp for the skimpy amount you get), there is nothing to complain about. The first highlighter i have tried that gives a soft luminous effect without looking obvious. My DIor and benefit high beam highlighters are not half as good. The only issue i have is the colour range. If it was expanded a teeensy bit more, i would rebuy. As it is.. Spotlight is very very good, but the price is exorbitant. If they offered a reasonably generous amount for this price, in a sliiightly darker hue, it'd be perfect, total HG. Right now... Nahhh wont rebuy.
