Save your money! This product is terrible. I am really into dry shampoos because I hate to wash my blonde, highlighted hair everyday. Well, this product is simply bad. First, it takes forever to dry. Second, even with my blonde hair, the product leaves an obvious powdery-white residue. Third, once the hair is finally dry, it is very hard to brush. Finally, once brushed, my hair feels so gross-slightly greasy, gummy, tacky. Seriously, if you are looking for dry shamppo, stick with Oscar Blandi. True, his products are expensive, but well worth it.

Well, after years (literally, years!) of debating whether to buy, I bought Touche Eclat No. 1 when my boyfriend gave me a gift certificate to Sephora. I AM IN LOVE! This is my new HG product! It brightens, conceals, highlights, and adds radiance. I primarly use it under my eyes for a soft, illuminated glow with some coverage. It turns my dark circles into almost normal looking skin. I also use this to conceal redness around my nose and to highlight in between my eyebrows. Really, this is great. It blends so very easily for seamless coverage/glow. I have already purchased another to keep in my purse. LOVE IT!

This is the best tool to use to smudge or smoke your eyeliner! Or, after I apply eyeliner, I dip this brush in an eyeshadow that is the same color of my eyeliner and press the brush along the line. Your eyeliner will last for ever!

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

This is my HG mask! For years and years I have tried every mask out there for oily, acne prone skin. And each time, I come right back to Queen Helene. Cheap, easy, tinlgy and effective, this product is wonderful! What is great about it is the sulfur. Sulfur has been used for years to treat skin and in this mask, it is really effective. Plus, this mask has kaolin (Chinese clay). And yes, most masks for oily skin have kaolin in them. But the combination of the sulfur and kaolin makes this product an absolute standout. Cleanse and dry your face, apply a thin layer of the product over your face, wait 10 minutes, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Your skin will glow and have a slight pinky healthy look to it. Also, I use this as an overnight treatment for zits. If I have one coming (or one that has already joined me) I put a bit on the zit and let it do its magic. Really, great product.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Fusion

My new HG mascara!!! For years, it was Voluminous by L'Oreal. Now, Lash Blast Fusion is my favorite. The brush applies the mascara evenly from root to tip every time I use it, even if it is at the end of the product's life. This mascara thickens AND lengthens without getting too clumpy. And, most importantly, this mascara does not flake off by the end of the day. Really, it is a great product for a relatiely small price. I can't say enough about it!

Moisturizers -Peter Thomas Roth - VIZ-1000 75% Hyaluronic Acid Complex

I really wanted to like this product. However, it did nothing for my skin. It did not moisturize nor did it "plump" my skin. All this product did was make my skin feel quite sticky for about 10 minutes and then...nothing. Generally, I love Peter Thomas Roth prodcuts. But this VIZ-100 really let me down. I will return it to Sephora.

I will continually update this review. Day 1 of usage: Complimented by co-worker on how extremely smooth my skin looked. Sold! Day 5: I am experiencing the beginning of slight purging. Even so, my skin is still smooth and fresh looking. UPDATE: So, I have used these pads on and off for about 6 weeks and they are amazing. I do not use them everyday, but about 3 times a week. After the small purging time (about 1 week), the effect of these pads is wonderful. My pores are so much smaller. My overall tone is more even. And, a small sun/age spot on my forehead is finally starting to fade. Fortunately, this product does not irritate my skin, but I can anticipate that someone with sensitive skin would really have to go easy with this product or they would experience some stinging. However, trust me, the effect on any skin is worth it. I will re-purchase.

Treatments (Eye) -Shiseido - Concentrate Eye Wrinkle Cream

I received this as a sample from Sephora and it is wonderful. The consistency is very thick and emoillent, so I will only use it at night because eye make up would simply slip off. That being said, this cream is so rich, so moisturizing that it puts all other eye creams to shame. The smell is minimal. There is absolutely no stinging or irritation with it. It simply melts into the skin and moisturizes amazingly. And, as the name states, the product is very concentrated. A little does go a long way. The price is more than I usually like to pay. But, I am still likely to purchase. Great product!

Eye Shadow -Stila - Wheat Eyeshadow

This is the best eye shadow I have ever used. It is a beige, slightly gold, shimmery, but not too shimmery, shadow of perfection. I believe it will work with any eye color, hair color, or skin tone because of its neutrality. However, it makes my blue eyes pop like no other shadow I have ever used. Further, the application is easy and seamless. Finally, the shadow has incredible staying power and does not crease as badly as other shadows (my eyelids are quite oily). Simply put, this is my HG eye shadow. Thank you Stila. P.S. I have used this shadow as a highlighter on my cheekbones and it is fabulous! It provides a nice, semi-goldish halo of color.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - AmLactin 12%

I get razor burn quite easily, especially on my bikini line. I read somewhere that after shaving, you use this to moisturize and exfoliate. The results have been almost 100%. So, I greatly recommend this product. The smell is not great, but not terrible. And, I think a pump container would work best, but these issues are minor compared to the actual results you get. Will buy again and again.

Blush -Stila - Petunia Convertible Color

I have oily skin so I was hesistant to try this cream blush. But, it is my HG because it blends beautifully into a lit from within glow. It stays put all day and, most importantly, it has never broken me out. One beautiful thing about it is that it provides buildable coverage, with makes it full proof. If you should somehow apply too much, simply uses a cosmetic sponge to blend, blend, blend. Finally, this Petunia color is a pinky/peachy color, simply great and natural for my ivory colored skin.

Best lip gloss on the market hands down. It is shiny, moisturizing, tastes great and stays in place. It is even a notch above Juily Tubes, which used to be my HG. Also, the tube lasts a long time. Wonderful product. UPDATE: I wrote this review about 2 years ago and have tried numerous glosses sine then. Still, to me, this is the BEST lipgloss on the market. And you can ask my ex, I have tried every gloss on the planet.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft (curved brush)

I have tried every mascara on the market and this is my HG. The brush coats every last leaving my lashes, full, glossy and thick. But, most importantly, the mascara does not get flaky, which is my biggest pet peeve with mascaras. I use it everyday and am constantly complimented on my lashes. To boot, it comes of very easily with Pond's cold cream. Will repurchase again and again.

The expense amazed me in the beginning. But, a beautiful woman I worked with used it and recommended to me. The coverage is superb and seemless. It provides nice coverage and stays put throughout most of the day. I do have to reapply before going out at night. But, most importantly, it provides full coverage of my blue based undereye circles. In short, despite the astronomical price, I will never use another concealer. Every time I try something new, I am disappointed.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals #1

This was the orginal mineral foundation that I tried and no many how others I try, this is the one I keep going back to. It covers seemlessly, stays put all day and has a nice glowy sheen to it. I have oily skin, so I swited to the matter version but found the coverage was not nearly is good. This is my HG foundation and will continue to use it . UPDATE: You know, I have used this product for over 5 years and I always go back to it. I have oily skin, so a powder foundation works well for me. Really, my HG product of all time.
