Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Quad (all shades)

I got this in Coffee Shop, a goldy-brown. Absolutely love the colors, though I wish the gold was a little darker, but great shades for mixing. Good pigment and nice and cheap. Love the range of colors. My only complaint is that it's a little too shimmery and wears off a bit more than some of the cheaper brands like Rimmel and Wet&Wild. But yes, I recommend it if you're looking for lots of variety.
Got this for $4.99 on sale, and I'd say it's worth about that, maybe a dollar or so more. It felt really good going on, silky and very blendable. Then I looked in the mirror and chalk-o-city! After some more rubbing and blending it gave a nice finish, though if you have uneven skin type it will get a kinda stuck in the dry edges. Would not recommend if you have any fine lines or wrinkles. But otherwise feels good, and haven't noticed any break-outs or oil slicks. Pretty good coverage, just remember to blend blend blend.
Got this in "Daring", loved the color. Too much comes out on the wand thus making it rather messy to apply and tends to get clumpy and smudgy on the edges. Also comes off right away if you eat, drink or kiss anyone. However it does last for about two hours if you just sit and purse your lips to keep them from drying out. Got this on sale for $2.19, wouldn't pay anything more for it than that.
Have this in "Sweet Mystique", I purchased it to use as day shadow or highlighter at night because of the cute colors which are Light Pink, Light Yellow and Light Blue.
I decided to apply the blue for the first test, at it just came out as silver. So I applied the pink on the other eye, and I can't tell the difference. They're both just silver. I am so irritated that it seems to be impossible to get any shadows from Maybelline, Cover Girl, etc that aren't just shimmer. Would never buy this again as I don't care for cheap silvery eyes.
Edited to add: I originally applied this with my favorite brush applicator and got the silver. When I used a large foam applicator I actually got some color. It was cute, but still too shimmery and silver toned.
I was immediately intrigued by the advertisements for this so ordered a free sample from dove.com. As soon as I opened the package I loved it, the smell is fabulous and was so uplifting right away. I used this for my face and body and adored the way it felt. It makes you feel awake and clean, hooray! Doesn't over dry for my combination skin, plus it's cute. I immediately went out and bought 8 bars. It has green tea and cucumber extract, so it's good for "awakening" skin due to the nutrients in both of those things.
Treatments (Eye) -Dove - Fresh Radiance Anti-aging eye cream

I'm new to eye-cream, so I can't really compare this to anything. I'm 20 with pale skin and Crazy undereye circles. (I still haven't found concealer short of heavy theater makeup that will cover my undereye circles). I have been using this cream for two days and can see a little improvement, which is nice. It feels great, absorbs very fast and you only need a tiny bit to go over both eyes, which is good as it's very small (.5 FL oz), it was about $8 at Target.
Conditioner -Dove - Volumizing Color Care Conditioner

This conditioner feels really thick when you first put it in, but washes out leaving no weighed down or grimy feeling. Loves it. My hair is incredibly soft, smooth and manageable, plys color safe! Haven't found anything better than this line.
This is my HG of shampoos. First of all a little goes A LONG way, the lather was crazy! So fun. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling very clean. After my hair is dry it is the softest, smoothest and best it has ever been. Not only that but somehow it seems to fall just right into the perfect style. I'm clinging to this and never letting go.
Eye Shadow -Almay - Intense i-Color powder shadow Trio for Browns

I love the color combination here, and the whole idea behind it. Prepicked, pretty colors. I have hazel eyes, but Walgreens only had for brown, and they're practically the same colors anyway, so I got this stuff. It looks great on my browner days. Like everyone has said, not enough pigment and too much frost. I would recommend applying this with an eyeshadow sponge (just not the one it comes with, as it sucks) rather than a brush to get a thicker coat faster. Also, I wouldn't waste an extra $4 on the matching eyeliner, just move a few rows down and get the Rimmel equavilent for around $3. The biggest plus about this stuff is that it's Almay, which means Hypoallergenic. It's great to find pretty colors that won't irritate my eyes.
Felt good at first, but left me shiny about an hour later. Then a few hours later I had the worst breakout, my entire forehead has turned into a giant red zit. Ugh. So thankful I got this as a sample and didn't pay money to look like crap.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Lineworks Waterproof Liquid EyeLiner in Black

I love the felt tip pen applicator, this product was very easy for me to apply. The only problem being that if you make a mistake you're stuck with it, this stuff can be tough to get off with just soap and water. I usually have to shower to take it all off. The wide bottom container makes storing and applying super easy (for once I don't have to hold the base while I apply!). I wore it for 8 hours and it was still there when I passed out, but I woke up with little black flakes everywhere, so umm don't touch it a lot I guess.
Concealers -Physicians Formula - Beauty Spiral Cream Concealer Lemon

I have extremely dark undereye circles and bought this hoping it would do the trick. I don't see any difference at all when applied, in fact sometimes it makes the circles look greasy and therefore worse. This is also the only makeup I've ever worn that has creased on my skin. I have no fine lines or wrinkles but still creasing. Not attractive. Like other have said the packaging isn't great because you can't get the rest out with the supplied wand. However to get the most for your money use a concealer brush or slightly bent q-tip to get the last bits of the concealor out. Will not be repurchasing this.
I have two of these, the first one is a light pink with multi-color glitter and is berry flavored/scented. I adored this one, but unfortunately the gloss was exposed to too much heat and seems to have clumped funny. Before that it went on great and made my lips look fabulous. I then repurchased in a red colored with a cherry flavor. I hate the flavor, and I have to squeeze the gloss tube a lot before applying otherwise it seperates and a strange orange water comes out. Ick. Still makes my lips look great, but is a little too sticky and tends to take my lipstick off. Great price though.
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - Snow Blossom
spitefairy 2/22/2005 6:44:00 PM
I usually love CoverGirl Eye Enhancers, but the Snow Blossom color was horrible. Much harder to apply than the other colors and did not go on well, leaves a cakey feeling and makes eyes look awful compared to other white shadows. The only use I can find for it is very light application on the brow bone or inner eye. I would never recommend sweeping it across the entire eye for a base color. Yeech.
This is the only liquid eyeliner I can use. Goes on super smooth and dries very fast. The applicator is a soft pen instead of a brush, which gives you much more control. I had never used liquid eyeliner before and could apply this perfectly with one try. One of the best things about this eyeliner is how easy it is to fix mistakes. Comes off right away with water and will go right back on again as soon as skin dries. Needless to say you shouldn't wear it to a sad movie unless you want racoon eyes. Doesn't smudge or wear off, love love love it! I just wish it was packaged differently, it's hard to remember which end has the pen and which has the liquid and is hard to balance on a counter top while you apply with pen.
