Lip Gloss -NYX - Lipgloss with Mega Shine in Frosted Beige

During a recent visit to Ulta, I was admiring the makeup of one of the salesgirls (smokey eyes with a pale, nude lip) and inquired where I could find the lipgloss she was wearing. She brought me over to the Smashbox glosses. I just couldn't fork out 20-something dollars for a gloss, so she and I combed the cheapy lines and I found this. It's as close as I could find and for just a few bucks I think it's a good quality gloss. Not sparkly - just a basic nude gloss. Can't beat it for the price. Update: Changing my score to a 2. After several applications I noticed the lipgloss seemed clumpy on my lips. Too bad :(

Lip Gloss -DuWop - Venom Gloss in Wisteria

This is a very pretty, cool, glossy pink color. But, I can't stand how messy it is. It's very difficult to squeeze out just a little and it seem to get everywhere. I don't get why it's tingly either.

Blush -L'Oreal - True Match Superblendable Blush in Bare Honey

I love the True Match blush line! I have a couple other colors and they all blend well and the shades are very flattering. Bare honey so far is my favorite - it's a very natural peachy-honey shade with some sparkles (sparkles aren't very obvious). Perfect shade to give just a healthy glow of color. This would be a great blush to try for women who normally don't wear blush. A little pricey, but you can usually find a BOGO with L'Oreal's makeup line.

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Naturale Mineral Concealer

This is not worth the money. Coverage on me was fair at best - maybe I used a color too light for my skin? I returned mine and purchased a cheap concealer brush and just used it with my BM Foundation, which provides better coverage IMO.

Lip Gloss -Stila - Lip Glaze in Nutmeg Spice

This is proof that you can't please everyone. Based on reviews I would have never bought this in my own. Luckily, my sister gave it to me. I LOVE this gloss. The color is a pinky-coral with shimmer (not too sheer). There is a strong nutmeg smell, which I love (but nutmeg is my favorite spice). The staying power is fair for a gloss. I'd consider picking up if you look good in corals.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Lip Gloss in Soft Pink

This is a beautiful, soft, neutral shade of light pink. It doesn't have a long staying power, but it's easy to swipe some on your lips without a mirror and it also fades well. Nice small size that fits easily into your pocket or a clutch. I just noticed today that my tube is almost gone; I'll definitely be repurchasing soon.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Infallible 6-Hour Lip Gloss in Coral Sands

I love this color! It's more peachy than coral, but looks good with my pale skin (with warm under-tones). This shade is perfect for the summer! Infallible lasts about 2 hours and then leaves your lips beautifully tinted with a sheer wash of color (minus the glossiness) for another hour or so. I have this in Posy and I haven't had any problems with my lips cracking or drying out.

This is a beautiful very cool-toned light pink. Like everyone else says it only lasts about 2 hours, but as the glossiness fades it leaves your lips tinted like you have a very sheer lipstick on. So, it still looks like you've got something on your lips for another hour or so after the gloss fades. It also won't look all cracked with color just sticking to the cracks or color only on the outside of your lips. I also have this in Coral Sands, which I'd also recommend.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

This is the only beauty product I own that I have used exclusively for more years than I can remember. For reference, my skin is dry in the winter and on the dry/normal side the rest of the year. When I try samples of other facial washes, my skin always feels tight afterward. With Cetaphil, it washes my makeup off without giving me that tightness. I also used this on my girls’ sensitive skin when they were babies as a body wash and as a shampoo (even sensitive baby shampoos and body washes bothered their skin). And I still use it to wash their faces. It’s a little pricey, but the bottle it comes in is huge and lasts forever. My only complaint would be the packaging. Once I bought a generic version (which didn’t clean the same by the way) and luckily it came with a pump. I always replace the squeeze top of the Cetaphil bottle with the pump I already own for easy dispensing when in the shower.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

This mascara is just ok for me. It gives a dramatic look, but if you're not careful it gets clumpy. Lasts fairly well, but I usually end up with little racoon eyes in the morning, even though I washed my face the night before.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I always come back to this mascara. I usually venture away when I see a sale on something else and then usually wish I hadn't. This is a perfect everyday mascara...coats and seperates the lashes well, but doesn't get clumpy (even toward the bottom of the tube). Lasts well throughout the day and washed off easily with just Cetaphil and water.

Treatments (Eye) -Garnier - Nutritioniste Skin Renew Daily Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream

I got this on a BOGO for Garnier skincare products at CVS. I had little hopes for it doing anything, but since it was free I gave it a try. Last night (after dealing with a nasty cold all day), I looked in the mirror expecting to see a frightful sickly sight...but let me tell you, my eyes looked awake and fresh and not at all puffy! I've been using 3 - 4 days, (applying once or twice a day) and the creases under my eye are gone; however, I haven't really noticed a decrease in under eye circles. It's a light-weight cream that comes in a .5 oz squeeze tube. For the size, it's pricey, but I'll be on the outlook for another Garnier sale and pick up another tube for sure.

Liquid -Revlon - Age Defying Makeup with Botafirm SPF 20 for Normal/Combination Skin

This a nice, moisurturizing makeup. It leaves beautiful glowy finish (not shiney or sparkley). I have very dry skin and it blended smoothly onto my skin, with no flakes. However, the coverage is too sheer for me. I prefer Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Cream for a little more coverage.
