Wow! Milani shadows are beautiful! This color is no exception, really brings out the green in my eyes. I like it more than the medium shade in the Stila Summer Bronzes palette. THREE BUCKS! It's smooth and gorgeous and LASTS.

I give it 4 lippies on the name alone! Sheer black lip balm.
I wish I could answer "Hell no!" to "Would you buy this product again?" I HATED it. I'm super oily and thought it would be an HG. Ugh. Thin, watery, separates so must be shaken before each application. Dries almost the moment you apply it, so that you can have that nice streaky effect. Looks like chalk. Lasts nearly an hour on me. Make sure you can return it.
Pressed Powders -Sally Hansen - corn silk illuminating powder

I'm not sure whether this is discontinued or not. It is still on the Sally Hansen site. I have to add my review, because I really love this product. I saw it in the d/s and it said "instantly reduces pore visibility" or something, so of course I bought it. And fully expected to be disappointed. I opened the compact, which is quite cute for a d/s product, threw away the useless puff and used a brush. I was immediately scared by the shimmer. But I tried it anyway. It did what it promised; I was amazed. It made my pores nearly invisible and added luminosity to my skin. It does have some sparkle, so be sparing. It does NOT make you look like you have glitter all over your face, though. This powder gives me that "porcelain" look that I wish I had, without making my face look a completely different color. I just adore it. I don't wear it every day, but I do use it often.
This color is described well below. Plummy, complex, bronzy, shimmery brown. What I love most is how well it brings out the green in my eyes. If you're like me, and you are tired of wearing purples to bring out the green in your eyes, try Barefoot Contessa. If I ever use it up, I'll definitely repurchase. I love this with Kitten, Starlight, Champagne, and even Latte.
Mascara -Shu Uemura - Mascara Basic [DISCONTINUED]

Just adding my rave. I used Clinique Naturally Glossy for years because I *only* need some color added to the ends of my lashes. They're long enough, they're thick enough. I become Tammy-fied with one coat of most mascaras. But this leaves Naturally Glossy in the dust. Black, glossy, soft lashes. Holds a curl all day. Waterproof, yet easy to remove. What more could I ask for? I could ask for it to cost less. But I'll buy it anyway.
This was the first Lip Shimmer that I bought and I've worn it almost every day. It's close to the perfect lipstick for me. I can blot it so that it's not too shiny. The color looks great and lasts. Not really brown, definitely a brownish red. I would purchase again, assuming that I ever use one up.
Lips -Burt's Bees - Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers in Champagne

This was what I hoped Aromaleigh "Sugar" lipstick would be. The color isn't really the most flattering color that I can wear, unfortunately. So it won't work for EVERYONE. But I really avoid shimmer, because I have vertical lines in my lips and most shimmer looks lousy. This didn't creep into the lines and look horrifying, nor did it accentuate them. So, hooray, a pale shimmer that I can actually wear! Still, I probably won't reach for it much. Great product, though.
Lip Gloss -Burt's Bees - Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers - Raisin

I bought this one after reading the reviews here. I like it a lot. I can't wear red lipstick much, because my lips are so pale that the demarcation line just looks terrible. This works. I prefer to blot it for a stain without much shine. Very nice product and it was $3.99!
Mascara -Shu Uemura - Mascara Basic [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this mascara based on all the raves here. I have lashes that are thick enough and long enough, but I do need to curl them. They are black, but blonde on the tips. I'm Tammy Faye after one coat of mascara. I have to comb through to separate, uhg. Well no more! This is PERFECT, gave me nice black, feathery, separated, natural looking lashes. Like everyone else said, it's not for heavy drama. But if you just need some color, like me, this is the best I've found. And it removes like a DREAM, too. I still rated it 4 overall because of the price. But I'll buy it over and over.
Loose Powders -Aromaleigh - Pure Powder Illuminator Finishing Powder [DISCONTINUED]
minnielouse 11/27/2004 12:22:00 AM
This was the only Aromaleigh product that worked for me, because it had no opacity. The foundation powders all pool into my pores and the fine lines on my face. Illuminator worked, but I won't buy it again because it's too easy to make yourself for about $8 a pound from easily obtained ingredients.
I wanted to like this. The color match was perfect. But on oily skin like mine, it pools into little dots by noon. Just looks horrible by the end of the day. On top of that, I am NOT impressed with the "customer service" at AL. The owner posts not exactly kind things on her own bulletin board. I'll have to look elsewhere.
Could this color look better on me? I don't think so. WOW. Move over Kitten. Seriously, on my green/hazel eyes, it's just a beautiful, beautiful shimmer. No, it isn't a dramatic color. But it makes my eyes pop. I have it as a pan and in the "Down with Love" trio, and I'm keeping both! *Update* I swapped the trio, because Champagne was the only color in it that I was using.
Slightly plummy-ish grey taupe. Another unique Stila color. Matte and doesn't look all that exciting in the pan. But looks VERY nice on my green eyes. Nice soft color, not too purple (did that enough in the 80s). When I'm feeling matte, I reach for Rain.
