I recently bought this foundation and have been using it for a few days. I can usually tell if I'm gonna like a foundation after 1 use. I do like this alot. On my very oily, acne prone skin, it last all day, with a medium coverage if I use my Mac 190 foundation brush, and a medium to full if stippled with my Mac 187 brush. The only problem I have with this is that the lightest shade, in my opinion, is a wee bit too dark for my skin. It's not very noticeable though, so I think when summer comes around, I'm gonna get me a tan :) But another reason why I like this is bc it does help my acne. Even though my acne isn't really that bad, it really bothers me ALOT! And within the few days I've used this, I've noticed some improvement, without changes to my skincare routine. So I'm hoping to keep using this product and hopefully my skin will improve as I go on. I am giving this 4 lippies bc I just love this so much, but 1 off for the color selection not being light enough for us fair complected ladies:) ***EDIT*** I have stopped using this product primarily bc of the way this just oxidizes so much thru the day. I also took off another lippie bc of this, which is very important, since I, as well as everyone else, don't want to look like an Oompa Loompa by the end of the day. I think that if you have darker skin, you could buy a lighter shade to match when it oxidizes, but it doesn't help for someone like me, who has to use the lightest shade.
I use this on top of Milk of Magnesia. The Cover fx helps smooth out my skin and doesn't make it greasy. It I wear it alone, it does help with my oiliness, but just not as much as using MOM with it. It does seem to help with acne, and I just love not getting a pimple or 2 everytime I wear this! I also love the packaging. The tip of the tube where the product comes out is very small and has a very small hole, so it doesn't dispense too much! I do recommend this to slightly oily acne prone ladies, but like I said it is not a miracle, especially for the price, I think with tax, was around $42: very steep! I'm so caught in between with this product bc I do like it, but it's just not as great as think it should be for 42 bucks. I think the only way I would repurchase this is only if I cannot find another primer that has the same quality or better :(
Ok so like I've said in most of my other reviews, I have really, really oily skin. And living on Texas coast don't help the situation. I've tried oil control primer after primer and this is the only thing that helps. It doesn't cure the problem, in my case, but I have seen improvement in my acne and oiliness on my face. It's kind of hard to work with, being that when it dries, its very chalky and leaves white residue on your skin! So what I do is pat this on with a cotton pad, let it dry completely, so that your skin soaks it up and put a primer on top of it to smooth it out and the white chalkiness disappears if you rub the primer in really good. My makeup looks good on top of it and stays oil free for a good 3 hrs, which is wonderful for me! I will continue to use this, as it works alot better than most other oil control products. Plus for the price of this compared to quality and quantity, compared to most other products, is just wonderful. Please try this if you have oily, acne prone skin!

I really didn't notice a difference with or without this primer. I didn't notice any oil control, after a few hours, or any acne flare ups. So I'm gonna give this 1 lippie for the fact that it didn't do anything and for the fact that this is really thick stuff and you have to work really quickly to blend it into your skin. Plus for the money you pay for this, there is better out there...
I received this as a sample! And I love it. It really evens out your skin tone, and it you use powder mineral foundation, this really makes your foundation look nice. It helps with oil a little bit, but my face still gets severely oily a couple of hours after i apply this. But that isn't the products fault, it's my genes, so 5 lippies for this wonderful, unique product!!

This is my FAVORITE moisturizer! I use it everyday! It's not oily or greasy feeling and only takes a little bit to do its job. I only use it at night though bc if you have very oily skin like me, moisturizer will only make it worse. But even with the oil, I still get patches of dry skin and flakes bc of the acne medications that I use. This doesn't break me out, as alot of moisturizers do. I recommend this to everyone who needs a good lotion for their face :)

I like this foundation just as much as my Silk Naturals foundation. It has very nice coverage and doesn' t agitate my acne prone skin. Its very silky and blends very nice. The only problem I have is that my oily skin just doesn't allow for it stay on my face! Even tho I've tried primer after primer, I'm still on the hunt for a primer that keeps my oily skin at bay. I give this 4 lippies bc it's very nice, and I still use it all the time! I just have to blot and fix my face every couple of hours and be really careful and such like that, which is really inconvenient. I recommend this for slightly oily, normal, and dry skinned ladies :)
I use this foundation when my other go-tos are all gone. I really do like this foundation and I love that you can custom mix your color, no other foundation companies offer that. The only problem I have with this stuff is that it slides off my face, which is very oily. If I fixed it every 2 hrs or so, it would probably work better, but that is so inconvenient for me and most women I know! If you have slightly oily or normal to dry, this would be best for you. Even with the full coverage formula, I would say it's more medium buildable. It looks really nice on the skin, and I also love that this company offers a wide variety of coverage formulas as well as primers and finishing powders. I do still use this all the time, and maybe if I find a good product that will keep my oil at bay, I would name this as my HG foundation, but until then, I'll just use it when I have to :(

Having very oily skin isn't that great to me, even though everyone tells me 'well at least you won't wrinkles when you get older'! I also have very acne prone skin too, so I'm always going from foundation to foundation looking for 1 that works for me. I tried this as soon as I saw it at Walmart and for the 1st couple of times I wore it, I liked it. But then I realized how porous I look with this on. I'm used to have to fix my makeup all day long, bc my oily skin is always making my makeup slide right off my face, but this was just greasy. I just don't like this foundation and hated that my pores show so bad. It does have a medium buildable coverage, which I liked and it didn't break me out. I'm giving this 3 lippies, bc even though it didn't work for me, it might work for someone that doesn't have big pores or oily skin.

I have fair skin. It's not pink but not golden undertoned, so I guess I could call it neutral. I picked up the lightest shade of this concealer and the formula is really nice. Very opaque and blendable. Stays put and doesn't look cakey, if well blended. This lightest shade is a little yellow on my skin and a little darker than all of my foundations so it doesn't really look good as a blemish concealer, but it is perfect as a undereye concealer. You must blend this very well and set it with powder bc it will crease under your eye if you don't! But over all this is a very nice concealer and for the price, even though it seems a little steep, for the amount of product in the tube compared to amount you actually use a day, it is very well priced! Def recommend everyone to try this product!
After putting this on for the first time, my face looked like a light orange pair of leather pants with tiny pinholes all over it! I got the lightest color and used my Mac 190 foundation brush to apply. It looked really good at first. But after about 2-3 hrs, it turned orangy looking and everywhere i had a pore, the makeup seperated away from it. And this did not keep the shine away. My face was so shiny, all in all it looked so terrible. Maybe I applied it wrong and should use a different method, but there are better foundations out there that I wouldn't have to try and find a way to use it!
Concealers -Clinique - Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer

I bought this to use with my Clinique Acne Solutions foundation and i figured I'd like it since i like the foundation... big mistake! As soon as a I bought it, I went home, cleaned my face and did my prep routine. I put my foundation on and then the concealer and it looked terrible and so noticeable! 1st off the concealer dries really fast so there is no blending with this. So I worked and worked with this and really tried hard to get it to work and the best I could get it to look was just really cakey and patchy. So I tried to thin it out a little and used my fix + spray and dabbed it on with my finger and it looked a lot better but still didn't match my foundation completely. So I stippled a little more foundation on top and it looked nice and blended. That is why I'm giving this a 3. You can get this to look alright, but it takes a bunch of work and extra products. I believe that you shouldn't have to work this hard to make it work (well with makeup anyway :)) Sry this is long, but i just hope this saves someone else from wasting your money and then losing the receipt!
