I have not been a fan of lipglosses without an applicator - but the Baby Pinks are the exception. They are cheap and the colors are great. Application is a bit of a problem, but they look so wonderful when they go on. Not easy to get when you live in the U.S. - but thanks to MUA and swapping I've worked up a nice collection. If you get the chance, definitely test these out.
Mascara -Maybelline - Sky High Curves Extreme Length and Curl [DISCONTINUED]

What a waste of money. Did nothing for my lashes. The curl was non-existent and the color was hardly there. Not something I will be buying again. I love other Maybelline full and soft, but this was a total bust.
Like the Lancome Juicy Tubes, I keep trying to like these .... but these products just don't work for me at all. Application is a pain. I almost always end up with too much ... and it's not fun trying to find a spot to discard the excess.
Not a fan at all. I keep trying to like them, but when it comes down to it I just want an applicator so I can apply my lipgloss without using my fingers. Lancome comes out with some great colors , names and scents ... but this is just not an agreeable product.
I am so unimpressed with Yankee. None of the votives or tarts I've tried can compare to the e-tailers. Their scents are OK, but the throw is nonexistent. I thought maybe it was just a bad candle or two, but I've tried several from different stores and been disappointed time and again.
I love Stila shadows, so I'm not entirely unbiased, but this one is such a wonderful shade for all skin types. A soft lavender with just a touch of shimmer to it. More of a blue-toned purple. It's a great eye wash or you can even kick it up a bit with a wet brush and used as a soft e/l. I tend to use this as a wash and build an overall purple eye using some other Stila colors - Cassis or Dahlia.
I love this four-pan palettes and I've packed them full of MAC and Jane e/s. I have no need for a mirror in an e/s compact - I'm putting these on at home anyway - so I don't miss that at all. I think the clear top is a much greater advantage. You can see right away what you are dealing with and it makes my morning routine go much faster. I'm thinking of swapping out my 15 pan for a bunch of these four pans - they are just so much more convenient and time-effecient.
Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Celestine Eye Glimmer

This is a very pretty taupey shimmer shade. Looks like it would be flattering on a wide spectrum of skin tones/types.
Lotions/ Creams -Eucerin - Aquaphor Healing Ointment

This stuff is so great - and I think a dead ringer for the Prada lip balm. It's one of the best things you can do for your lips. UPDATE: I'm now discovering that the aquaphor has a grainy texture to it. Not sure if this is normal, but it is kind of annoying. Still using, but wish the grains were not there. Still think it is just like Prada.
What great staying power! It takes a little time - and a good brush - to get the application just right, but its worth it. The BB e/l stays put and stays all day. You'll wear out before it does.
I have three glossimers right now and though I like the effect they have colorwise, they are so drying on my lips I can hardly stand to use them.
Bath Treatments -Bliss Labs - Lemon & Sage Softening Soak
dlove 2/19/2004 12:28:00 AM
Aside from it being an accident waiting to happen (seriously - what was Bliss thinking - they put a very slippery product into a glass bottle and expect it to be used in the tub) the soak is not exactly a pleasant experience. I like to leave the bath feeling clean - not drenched in oil. There are, I'm sure, a lot of dry-skinned people that will welcome this product. I'm not one of them. Update: I'm still not a fan of the oily nature, but I did want to add that the smell is DIVINE.
Treatments (Eye) -Cle de Peau - Baume Contour De Yeux
dlove 2/19/2004 12:19:00 AM
I'm new to eye care/treatment, but I actually like this eye balm. I do think it has made a difference in the morning ... seems to reduce wrinkles and dark circles rather quickly. I have not had any bad reactions to the product yet. I got it as a sample and it is lasting me forever - just a little dab goes a long way. I doubt I will repurchase because of the price, but would gladly welcome other samples if they come my way.
On the search for the superior concealer, I bought into the hype on this one. While it is no worse than any of the others I've tried, its no better either. Certainly not worth the outrageous price tag. It is easy to apply and lasts a long time, but I just don't see any miraculous results. Save your money and skip this one!
Lip Treatments -Prada - Tinted Shielding Balm spf 15

Got this as a swap extra and I am SO glad I did not spend the money to get this on my own. The package IS cute and tiny, but hardly a selling point. Save your money and go to the drugstore and get a tube of Aquaphor. The consistency is the same, but the results are better at a fraction of the cost.
