This works pretty good! The texture is kind of dry , but if it was any more 'liquidy' I'm sure it wouldn't hold the eyeshadow in place - which would defeat the purpose! This color completely blocks out any discoloration on my eyelids and it gives me a nice clean slate to work on. Will repurchase, but I might try 'bare study' next, the color looks a little more yellow toned so I think it may suit me a little better. ;)
Smallest tube of lipgloss I own! I couldn't believe it was so pricey for such a small amount. But anyway, the color is pretty and it lasts a long time on my lips b/c it's really thick and pigmented. Not my absolute fave gloss ever, but I'll use it up!
This color was just 'okay' on me. It's got this purple/blue undertone that makes me look kinda weird. :-/ I guess it just doesn't match with my skin tone. I prefer matte lipsticks, and this ones pretty shimmery. I won't repurchase this, but it was given as a gift so at least I'm not out $24. Lol.
Without a doubt, these are some of the BEST eyeshadows I own. I have about 20 Mac eyeshadows and I find that these are a little more blendable & maybe just a little more pigmented. I find myself reaching for this every single day! I love how I can use this palette to create a light shimmery eye, or a dark smokey eye. This gets a 5 star from me!
I use this bronzer to contour and add a little color to my face - it works perfect! I like matte bronzers, and this one is VERY matte... No shimmer at all. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase again is just b/c I've got a couple other bronzers I'm wanting to try out first. I'm also currently using Smashbox Bronze lights in Suntan Matte - it's a pretty close match to Mac matte bronze, but it's more pigmented in my opinion. Next on my list is too faced chocolate soleil. :)
I like this color a lot, but for $24 + tax it's not THAT good. I layer it over Mac Angel or Revlon Nude Attitude lipstick and it gives a perfect nude lip. I'll search around the drugstore for a dupe b/c like I said - love the color, but not the price.
I've bought this several times. I love the smell of it! Sooo minty and cooling. It's kinda pricey for lip balm (like $3.50?) but it's all natural and has no harsh ingredients and it really helps with my chapped lips unlike a cheap $1 Chapstick. I'll continue to buy this forever!
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Accutane (by prescription)

Taking Accutane was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. It was a pretty annoying process trying to get it though... First, I made an appointment @ a dermatologist in my town and had to wait a whole month to get in. Then, the dermatologist told me that he didn't "believe" in accutane and didn't think my acne was severe enough to be on it. But that's the thing- it wasn't severe all over my face but I had to deal with one cystic pimple after another ALL THE TIME. By the time one cleared up, another formed. I had minor blackheads in certain areas that were nearly impossible to get rid of. So, all in all he just wrote me a script for some antibiotics and sent me on my way- but I was still determined to get Accutane so I made an appointment with my family doctor and he listened to everything I had to say about how I'd tried every drugstore product out there with still no results. He said he couldn't prescribe it to me since he wasn't a dermatologist but he wrote me a referral for a dermatologist who could. :))) He even called the derm office to make sure they accepted my insurance and to make an appt for me. I couldn't get in for like 3 or 4 weeks so of course I was anxious and excited. I had to drive about 45 minutes to get there though, which kinda sucked but I knew it would be worth it. It was the only dermatologist even remotely close to me who would prescribe Accutane. All the pregnancy tests and blood tests were definitely a hassle but my insurance covered a lot of it so it wasn't too bad as far as price goes. I started out on 20 mgs twice a day and did that for 2 months and then got bumped up to 30 mgs twice a day for a couple more months then got bumped up to 30 mgs three times a day on even days and two times a day on odd days. I had a lot of side affects while taking it (dry lips, headaches, mood swings) but it is the ONLY thing that worked for my acne so to me, it was all worth it. I took Accutane for 6 months total and it completely stopped my acne. I've been off of it for about 2 years now and I still haven't gotten any breakouts. My skin is no longer oily and I can finally wear makeup and cosmetics now without getting pimples every time. My dermatologist put me on Differin gel .3% a month after I stopped Accutane and it's helped so much with the scarring I had. I use it as a primer before I put on moisturizer and foundation. I feel like I'm taking preventative measures so I'll never get acne again :) Accutane is definitely not an overnight fix but if you have patience then you'll love the results.
This mask is awesome. :) I really love the smell of it, and the tingly feeling when it's drying. I bought it at my local Dollar Store for like $3 and it's a huge tube so I'm sure it'll last forever. I really don't have acne so I can't speak of how well it works for that... But it's just nice to tighten up the pores and soothe the skin. :)
Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Dickinson's Witch Hazel

I'm on my second bottle of this stuff! Even though it smells like reeeally strong vodka (lol) it doesn't bother me too bad. It removes oil, doesn't feel sticky , and leaves my skin feeling clean. It's great for treating breakouts too. For the price, you can't go wrong!
Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser
caitlinannexoxo 5/1/2012 1:46:00 PM
I bought this cleanser after I had a terrible allergic reaction to DHC's washing powder. This foam cleanser is so gentle and rinses clean with no residue. I love how it's soap and fragrance free. It was about $5. Loveee it. :)
I really like this bronzer! It's not as dark as some of my other bronzers, but it's so pigmented and a little goes a long way. The color is pretty natural, it's a matte brown shade that blends so easily into the skin. I use it to contour and to add just a touch of color all over my face. It's somewhat expensive for a bronzer, but I'm sure it'll last forever!
I hope they never stop making this foundation - it is AMAZING! I wear this in the color Tawny and it's a perfect match for me. If I want really full coverage I'll use a stippling brush or a flat foundation brush, if I want a little bit more of a natural look I use it with my Sonia Kashuk blender sponge. Seriously just about everyday I get told I look airbrushed, this stuff hides everything. I paid $35 for this foundation but it's lasted me well over a couple months w/ daily use - so in my opinion it's totally worth it. Will repurchase again and again. :)
This is a scent I'll wear when I'm hanging around the house, but I don't really reach for it much when I'm heading to work or going out for a night. It has that sweet vanilla/cotton candy scent... It smells really good sprayed on clothing, and the scent seems to linger for a while. The only thing I don't like is the really strong licorice note, which does kind of fade away after the dry down - but for some reason it reminds me of cherry cigars? Lol. I won't repurchase, but I'll use it up over time til it's gone.
Favorite perfume of allllll time. :) I first tried this @ a friends house and adored it. It's such a girly & classy scent. Every time I wear it I get compliments - so it's def HG status for me!
