For everyday use, I blend just the tiiiiiiiiiniest bit into my creases (with Vanilla Sugar as the base) and what a difference it makes! It blends so well and brightens my eyes- gives them a hint of shimmer and that extra pop. It's so highly pigmented so a seriously tiny bit goes such a long way. Perfection.
This is a fantastically versatile color. Works magic as a base and looks fab alone. Also highlights the brow bone. It's just the perfect, basic eyeshadow for me. And of course it's BE so it blends wonderfully. Love it!
This is probably my all-time favorite perfume. I save it for special occasions. Just such a classic and so flattering. It's the ultimate feminine fragrance, imho.
Talk about a sexy fragrance. I love it so much I wear it year-round (if it's summer, only in the evening... however in the winter I wear it all day). So warm and smooth, but it's got a kick to it. I just feel sexy when I wear it! I took a point off for packaging b/c it is a little annoying how the cap has to line up with the bottle to close it. But, no biggie.
Yummmm. I've been using this since I was in high school. Such a fun, sexy scent. It's my boyfriend's favorite.. drives him nuts every time I wear it! It just smells delicious. It's musky, sugary, and floral. A classic of mine.
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush

Perfect-o. I really only need this brush when I need heavier coverage for a zit or if my dark circles are bad. Man does it do a good job of blending the concealer perfectly and making it look like it's part of my skin. For everyday use on minor blemishes/dark circles, I just use my finger. BTW, I have used it to blend in the BE foundation in concentrated spots but I also use it with my fave liquid concealer, Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish. Great, versatile concealer brush.
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Application Face Brush

I basically want to say "ditto" to EVERYTHING evangelines said right below me. I too use it for the Warmth and Mineral Veil for the same reasons. The only thing I don't like about this brush is that it sheds more than my other BE brushes. Oh well. I still love it.
I'm surprised at the bad reviews this brush is receiving. yes, mine has shed a few times, but it's the best brush out of the BE line, IMO. Holds a really good amount of foundation and it controls how much gets deposited on your face (i.e., it doesn't all get dumped on your face on the first swipe... comes out gradually). It's thicker and denser than say, the flawless face, which I use to apply the warmth. But for the moderate coverage I need from the foundation, the kabuki is A+.
Deodorants -Dove - Ultimate Clear Cool Essentials Anti-perspirant Deodorant
betonyourself 7/10/2008 8:49:00 PM
Smells good and keeps me fresh. And, since I started using Dove deodorant a few years ago, I have noticeably less razor burn. However, it sure ain't ultimate "clear". Leaves white marks on clothes like a mofo. Eh.. I'm willing to sacrifice that because this is the only deodorant that's reduced my underarm razor burn.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals in 1.2, fairly light

HG for sure. God I love this stuff. I am amazed at how it can give my blemish-ridden skin such good coverage without looking like I'm wearing makeup. Any other foundation that's given me good enough coverage has looked so thick and caked on (and I have tried sooo many foundations). This seriously looks like I have nothing on, and it hides my blemishes and evens out my skin tone. It took me a little while to master the application technique that gets me the best coverage, but once I got it down, my skin has never looked better. This followed by a light dusting of the BE bronzer (Warmth), is just perfection. After years of searching, finally found my HG foundation.
Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers - Guava Splash
betonyourself 7/10/2008 8:27:00 PM
Ahh, much better. I originally bought Fig Splash.. big mistake (frosty much?). This is a great sheer pink that adds a nice natural sheen to my naturally pigmented lips. smells great, too. The gloss itself has staying power and I love the non-sticky texture. This is a keeper.

Blech. Ditto on all the other negative comments about this gloss. If you have a pale complexion I do not recommend this one. I'm not sure why I bought it, I guess I thought it'd be sheer like the other Wetslicks. Instead it is very thick and frosty and just ugly on me. And the scent is gross. I don't know if I can return this to Walgreens because it's unsealed but I'm going to try.
When I first tried this lotion I was absolutely amazed by how UN-greasy it feels. I tried my mom's and assumed it would be thick and greasy but was astounded when I saw how well it absorbed into my skin. It does the wonders of petroleum jelly without the greasiness. It is a bit thick so a little goes a long way. And this may sound weird but I love the scent. It almost smells a bit musky. Love love love everything about this product. Great on hands and feet, elbows, knees, dry patches.. you name it.
Just purchased my 2nd tube of this stuff. I love it because money has been tight lately and I haven't been able to restock on my HG, Diorshow, but Lash Blast brings the same results for a fraction of the price. My lashes are just thick and long enough- none of that overdone mascara-y look that I hate, but it definitely still makes a statement. The brush is fantastic too. No clumping! Amazing for $8.
Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Double Duty Base & Top Coat
betonyourself 8/12/2006 10:50:00 PM
not bad! i'd say it is the best base/top coat i've used. not THE shiniest, but i'm not a fan of "mirror like" shine on my nails. i like a more natural look and this has it. and best thing of all... my nails don't chip! :)
