Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - WetSlicks Amazemint

Nice if you like minty flavor. It's not sticky at all, very smooth, and it delivers just a little bit of color. There are lots of fun colors too. Mine turned pretty quickly but still a pretty nice product. I wouldn't repurchase just because I have too much lipgloss.

Hair -L'Oreal - Feria Haircolor Hi-Lift Browns

I bought Downtown Brown and used drops of Ardell red/gold corrector from Sally's in it. I went from black (asian hair) to a chestnut brown with mahogany undertones-NOT orange at all (I am really picky about orange hair). I do think it would have become orange if I didn't use the red/gold corrector drops. This is the least red of the lightening hair dyes for dark hair that I've used, and I'd buy it again even though I still want less red. I've tried the garnier formula for dark hair too - iced macchiatto shade I think and that ended up orange. So far, this is the best box lightener for me.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bronze Eyeshadow
bellagemma 4/19/2010 9:39:00 AM
A bit lighter than I thought. On me, (nc37-40 without a tan) it is better as a lid color than a crease and I thought it would work as a crease but its kinda light on me to use there. Otherwise really nice, smooth texture and staying power.

Eye Shadow -Milani - Golden Bronze

Very similar to MAC's Tempting or Bronze but slightly more golden in color. A really great, affordable staple. Wish I could still find these shadows.

So sad I cant find these anywhere anymore. A really great everyday brown that really is similar to a MAC neutral in terms of color, texture and staying power- I don't usually compare high-end to drugstore b/c thats ridiculous but this is really it. - I went through two and wish I could find them again.

Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder in True Romantic
bellagemma 4/19/2010 9:31:00 AM
This should be a permanent MAC blush. It has silver shimmer, so it is literally the ONLY pink blush that stays truly pink on me nc37-40. For pinks, I've tried MAC dollymix, MAC tenderling, NARS angelika, Bobbie Brown pink sugar, etc.- they ALL turn slightly apricot I think they tend to oxidize a bit with my foundation or react with my yellow skin tone and turn peachy-pink which I hate, but this one doesn't. Really unique color!

Misc Beauty Tools -Tweezerman - tweezers

Slim with a really good grip to get those annoying stubble-like hairs Expensive, but well worth the money if you're a plucker. I've bought 3-4 because I keep losing them and I really can't be without one. My brows grow in really fast so I keep one in my purse and one in my bathroom.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - # 239 Eye Shader Brush
bellagemma 4/19/2010 9:22:00 AM
One of the MAC eyebrushes I think really lives up to the hype. I Have a lot of cheap "dupes" (kashuk, ecotools, art brushes, sigma) but none really compare. Cheaper dupes tend to be to wide or thick, not as firm, etc. but this one gives just the right amount of control. Planning to buy another one, and I don't usually do that.

PROS: sleek, sturdy, clear lid so you can see contents, pretty reasonable price for MAC CONS: no mirror, top gets scratched

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 109 Small Contour Brush
bellagemma 4/17/2010 3:17:00 PM
I borrowed the MUA's at the store and then bought it on the spot. I mainly use it clean as a blending-out-your-blush brush OR for lighter blushes since it will pick up a lot of color. I really like how it can do nice little concentrated circles on your cheek to blend highlight and blush and countour together. I don't really use to contour-use the 168 for that. Very dense, shed for 2-3 washes but stopped after that. I like it but not necessarily a must-have.

Eyeliner -Almay - Liquid Eyeliner
bellagemma 4/17/2010 3:10:00 PM
Good if you have allergies otherwise, u can probably pass. I went through a phase when my eyes were really sensitive-almost anything made them flaky and swollen, so I bought this eyeliner and used it for the longest time b/c it was the only thing that wouldn't cause a reaction. I'm able to wear other liners now, but I still like this and keep it in my emergency touch-up bag. The color is not super black, kind of gray black, but it is really fast and easy to apply. Wear is average- I have to touch up after 4-5 hours.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Melon
bellagemma 4/17/2010 2:01:00 AM
One of the most versaile pigments-a shimmery peach/pink. I use it on lids, cheeks, and best of all, mixed into lipgloss. Gorgeous! Great pigment to get if you're new to them and want to get one that will really be worth your dollar!

Lipstick -MAC - Cherish Lipstick

Perfect nude IF you're nc37-40 like me. Other nudes like myth, fleshpot etc. that most people love look white on my lips, but this color mutes out my naturally brown/reddish lips and gives the perfect nude lip. On light skin, this will probaby look dark and brown but for my skintone, it is perfect. I've bought two and am going to get a third one =) P.S. Almost and exact dupe of Brave New Bronze which was LE from Style warriors-BNB is just a tad darker with a hint of more pink, but this is the closest dupe I can find!

Lipstick -MAC - Spirit
bellagemma 4/16/2010 5:53:00 PM
MLBB on me (nc37-40 with very pigmented, brown/reddish lips) - it evens out my lip tone and gives a really natural, rose lip shade if I dab it on. If I smear it on, it gives a very sophisticated brown-rose shade. A must-have natural color for darker skin and lips-probably not great if you are pale, but I love it.
