Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

i bought this on a whim when i left all my makeup at home when i went on a trip to a different state. when i first applied it, my skin looked just ok (i have a few acne scars and large pores on the nose) but as the day went on, it oxidized and turned my face orange! i returned it right away. i just don't understand the hype about this tint. there are better tints out there
Eyeliner -Clinique - Eye Defining Liquid Liner in Black
xoxsarahoxo 7/21/2009 5:18:00 PM
i bought this eyeliner because my close friend recommended it to me and i hated it! i went back to her and she then admitted that it was a bad eyeliner...the type of liquid eyeliner i like are ones that can create a thin or thicker line if wanted, does flake off, doesn't smudge and lasts at least for 8 hours...it didn't fulfill all of these requirements...i've tried a lot of eyeliners including chanel, estee lauder, l'oreal, maybelline, lancome, etc. this is not worth your money. this product is parallel to drugstore brands so don't waste your money. i found wet 'n' wild mega liner to be the best for your money ($2.99). plus i didn't like the brush applicator...don't buy
Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow BlackOut Waterproof

i've bought this mascara twice (with a gap in between)...it holds a curl, doesn't flake, make lashes look very black with lots of volume and it is waterproof BUT it smudges...ALOT. i do get lots of compliments when i wear this but it's such a pain because of the smudging....i would only wear this out at night when it's dark so people will think i have the 'smokey' eye look going on
Mascara -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Mascara - Blackest Black
xoxsarahoxo 7/8/2009 1:51:00 PM
first of all...i only wear waterproof mascaras because they are the only ones that can hold a curl...i knew this wasn't waterproof but decided to buy it anyways because i wanted something more gentler after all those years of waterproof mascaras causing my eyelashes to fall out...this didn't hold a curl of course but after a couple of weeks, the mascara dried so it held it slightly better but still not so great...it didn't smudge or flake..after having blah lashes with this mascara i think i'm ready to go back to waterproof..i'll try something that won't be so harsh on my lashes..my next try: maybelline full n soft
Eyeliner -Wet 'n' Wild - Megaliner Liquid Liner- Brown/Brun
xoxsarahoxo 7/8/2009 12:12:00 PM
ladies..i think this is my HG eyeliner~!!! i bought it at walgreens because it was dirt cheap ($2.99) and i wanted a bronze-y brown eyeliner for the summer....the color is gorgeous~ it's a medium bronze-y brown with shimmer....it's great when i don't want a harsh look with black eyeliner...the brush is good too...i can control if i want it thick or thinner...and the staying power is also good...i've tried estee lauder, chanel, lancome, clinique, sephora, cover girl, l'oreal, maybelline, etc etc and for the price and quality, this beats them all
Sunscreen -Chanel - UV Essentiel Anti-Polution SPF 30+
xoxsarahoxo 7/8/2009 12:06:00 PM
i was using japanese sunscreen which has the same texture as this...a light weight milky liquid that is not sticky or greasy but the japanese sunscreen (sofina) clogged my pores so i decided to try this one. i really do like it alot...it's the same as sofina but doesn't clog my pores...i was debating on this or the diorsnow spf...i might try the diorsnow in the winter season because it seems more creamier...as for the price...it was around $50US for 1 oz. so i only use it on my face and use cheaper stuff for my body
i really wanted to like this because i hate the feeling of traditional sunscreen on my face but it clogged my pores...but i have to say that i put it on my arms and it has really great staying power so i will use it when i go to the beach for my body but will not be purchasing again...try chanel's uv essentiel..it's about twice as expensive so i only use it on my face and use other stuff on my body
i bought this because i wanted to prevent wrinkles etc. when i got older and this is supposed to be the newer and better ce ferulic...i don't know if it works but i forgot my sunscreen when i was traveling and used this instead and i didn't get burned! it's a serum and feels a little sticky and it does not moisturize. but it clogged my pores...so i will be using the rest on my neck and arms and i will not be buying again...i will keep on looking for another age prevention serum...
Liquid -Estee Lauder - Nutritious Vita-Mineral SPF 10
xoxsarahoxo 7/7/2009 3:03:00 PM
when i got this at first, i really liked it. it's a medium coverage and it's supposed to have "minerals" and anti-oxidants that are good for your skin so that's what sold me...the texture is thicker than regular foundations in my opinion and i need some coverage for some redness and acne scars. after using it for 9 months i still have a lot of foundation left but it has clogged my pores (like all mineral makeup) and my skin isn't as luminous as when i first bought it and it doesn't look natural anymore...
the waterproof version is not available in the US (and i can only wear waterproof) so when my boyfriend when to london i made him look for it. he bought me 2 and i was really excited to try it but i was disappointed...it did separate my lashes but that was it...i am really into my eyelashes and have tried high end and low end brands...it was not worth making my boyfriend look for it in another country....
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Creme De Gloss 225 - Coral Elixir
xoxsarahoxo 4/22/2009 10:24:00 PM
I have been looking for the perfect pinky peach (more pink), opaque lipgloss for a while and tried many. This is the only one that shows up on my lips and is the perfect color. It looks natural but with more pink. I look in my drawer and see all the similar colors of lipgloss but this is perfect shade but doesn't turn clear on my lips and it's very creamy. I love it!
i did not like this product at all! it made my face shiny (almost glittery) and there was little coverage, which i need since i have some acne scars... now i use philosophy airbrush canvas mineral foundation and i love it...it gives more coverage and is more on the matte side...after i put it on i spray my face with clinique moisture surge spray and my face is glowing (in a good way!) i didn't like the way my face looked cakey so i'm trying estee lauder vita mineral liquid foundation and it's been good
