Eye Shadow -NYX - Rock

I got a lot of fall outs from this eyeshadow even with primer. One week after i purchased this and i put it in the makeup bag it broke and powders went everywhere inside the bag. The quality is extremely poor for this eyeshadow but i do own another single eyeshadow by nyx and that one was fine. So I guess this is just a bad batch or something.

Misc Beauty Tools -The Body Shop - Organic Cotton Rounds

I just feel the urge to review this, LOL. I was using the Target brand cotton squares and rounds but I was never happy with them. One day I was in TBS the SA recommended the cotton rounds to me and I was like, why not? The Target cotton rounds cost a little more than $2 for 80 counts, and TBS ones is $3 for 100 counts, plus I am a member so i get 10% discount so technically, it's about the same price as the Target ones. The quality of TBS ones are MUCH better. Like, I am in love with them. I love using them and I'll continue buying and buying and buying.

Pros: - Natural, dewy color - very long-lasting - a little goes a long way Cons: - Not that much a joy to blend with fingers, much easier to blend with a brush. would buy again, great product.

Excellent newbie brush set! These are the first brushes i've ever owned in my whole life. However, as now I've gotten more brushes, I find myself only reaching to the lash comb ( can't go wrong with this) & the blush brush for cream blushes. eyeshadow brush - too dense to pack on eyeshadows in my opinion. concealer brush - it's ok, average eyeliner brush - loved it at first but after a few washes the silver part is getting loose i think it might be water got in the part? :/ blush brush - not dense enough for power brushes but i like using it to put on cream blushes a lot Overall, great set for beginners! I wouldn't buy this set again but I would definitely try out other Ecotools brushes.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

I really wanted to love this foundation! It gives great coverage, light-weighted, color matches perfect, BUT!! It completely exaggerates the dry patches on my face :(( When I first put it on, it looks very unnatural because you could tell the foundation cakes on the dry parts of my skin. Isn't this supposed to be formulated for dry skin peeps? After a few hours when I have natural oil it looks really, really nice & natural. By the end of the day it would be too oily. I don't normally have a problem with oily face at night, but this makes me dry at first then make me oily in the evening. I tried so many methods and I found that the dry patches are gone only if I put on mask before I apply it.... I heard it's best to use with the NARS primer but I did not buy the NARS primer because this foundation is already pricey I don't wanna waste money on an expensive primer. And I also don't like the idea of you have to use the products from the same company to get the result you want.

This is by far the best deodorant I've tried. The scent is amazing, it doesn't eliminate sweat but it does a good job controlling it ( no more marks on my shirts!). I also don't notice any white masks. No more odor too :)

Blush -Alima - Satin Matte Blush in Apricot

LOVE this color!!! It gives a healthy, sun-kissed glow. I've always wanted a peachy blush but couldn't find anything I liked. So when I ordered the mineral foundation from Alima I was like "why not order a few blush samples since it's only $1 each??" And upon the first application I fell in love with Apricot. For a college student $15ish for a blush is cheap but I wouldn't even bother to find a dupe for it and that's how much I love this!

i like this alot & have repurchased twice. It gets the job done. The texture is liquidity & it's the least greasy ss I've tried. Overall I like it and will repurchase again and again. It's not HG for me because I think they could do a better job in making it less greasy but it's good enough for now.

I got a sample of this and I like it a lot. It's the best sunscreen I have used so far in terms of scent & texture. It is not like regular sunscreens which will leave you a greasy weird white-mask face. I love it. I'll consider buying the full size if there's any promotions going on.

Blush -Ulta - Sweet Cheeks

The only reason I wouldn't buy this again is because there are simply too many other blushes to try! But I would come back to this eventually tho, most likely. I've been loving this color ever since the first day I bought it, it's a very flattering pink that makes my whole face come alive. The staying power is not very strong, but by the end of the day I could still see some on my face. I have another Ulta blush "Girlie" and I would say this is a better quality for some odd reason. "Girlie" would disappear in a few hours but this held up well. Overall, great blush for $3 (Got it on sale! Eyeliner pencils were $1, too)

Powder -Alima - Satin Matte Mineral Foundation

After using this on and off for a good 3 months, I am certain that I could write a fair review. The conclusion is: I love this mineral foundation!! Customer service was excellent in answering questions, suggesting shades. I bought a few shades in sample jars to try out. With over 60 shades it's hard NOT to find the one that matches you. I am not even 1/4 on the sample jar ($1.5). Crazy, in a good way. This foundation applies very smoothly, I apply 2-3 coats on, and then plus the green mineral concealer on my cheeks without looking cakey at all. It looks so natural as if I don't have any makeup on! It stays put the whole day, doesn't oxidizes (meaning it doesn't turn orange). Overall, very satisfied with this and will be buying the full size jar once this sample jar is gone.

I am in love with this color. It's pigmented, I don't notice uncomfortable scents at all. The only thing that bugs me is that it tends to dry out my lips - leaves obvious lines which is not pretty at all. However, It is better if i put lip balm before hand. Will buy again because I just love the color that much.

I got this in Feb in #2 & it was too dark for me. Now during the summer I could finally use it. I found myself reaching for this daily. It's moisturizing, make my pores look almost invisible, gives a just-enough coverage to even out skin tone & is able to cover up the redness on the sides of the nose. It's also very light & my face doesn't seem oily after 10 hours. Another plus is that it smells really good! I love putting it on my face. Too bad they are not making this product anymore....

Love this kit! It has everything you need for your brows - tweezer, slanted brush, sponge tip, mini mirror & the powders. I like how there are 3 shades of colors (highlight, lighter brown, and dark brown) so you can mix the shades together to get the shade you want (I actually never tried that but I guess it would work? lol) It's very pigmented & lasts through the day! Very impressed & happy with the purchase. For $6 this is an excellent purchase.
