i have purchased this several times and while i do find it very moisturising, i can only use it at night. During the day, it slides a bit into your eye making vision blurry. It also balls under makeup, so not practical. I find it seals moisture in nicely and does a decent job. No anti-ageing effects or brightening effects but it is on the affordable side. I will repurchase since it does such a great job at moisturising and it absorbs well.

I found this to be nice but not great. Its OK to wear alone but layers dreadfully over serum (think white) and balls under primer. Also when it dries, my face feels tight so its not moisturising enough, which is quite odd for the 'Rich' title. I would recommend it to those that have oily combo skin with no real moisture needs and those that do not wear makeup. This balls like no tomorrow so I only wear this to bed on nights when I feel lazy and just slap this on. There are no dramatic results but its a good maintenance cream. The quality of the ingredients are high and packaging is great. I would recommend the cellular night cream over this as that has a higher concentration of ingredients and I can see more of a difference with that one. Also its not as thick. I will finish this but not buy again as there are lots of natural alternatives out there at only a fraction of the price with the same efficacy.

Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Sensi White Cream

This did nothing to lighten spots or brighten but it is a fabulous moisturiser. I use this on top of serums of other things that dont provide adequate moisture. This is a gel cream that sinks in easily with no grease. It layers well under makeup and is compatible with everything. The formula is ideal for those with oily-combo skin or those that live in humid climates but probably not for those with dry skin.

I feel that this is an ok product which is overpriced for what it does, the advanced face firming activator is still better. I dont feel that this does much and the retinol is very gentle to the extent where I cant really justify using it. I find i get better results using Affirm 2x and its much cheaper. I also find Peter Thomas Roth Retinol fusion to be better in that it dries quickly and i can layer more on. You will definitely need a moisturiser after this. This is a good option if you have never used retinol before, but if you want to hunt around, there are many other products from ROC i have found to be significantly cheaper and more effective than this. I think that if you are going to pay the price for this brand the advanced face firming activator is second to none and is worth the price.

The main issue with this is that this doesn’t absorb nor does it moisturise. I was left feeling dry with an oil slick. I also struggled to see any results, but like everything else I have experienced in this line, the active ingredient is far too low for any visible results. I really wanted to like this however I couldn’t even use it as body cream since it is tinted and would rub off on my clothing looking like foundation marks. I would not recommend this under any circumstance, save your money and go for Olay Pro X, with which I will go back to since my skin deteriorated with this.

Tinted Moisturizer -NARS - Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

This is just OK on the basis that isnt as hydrating and dries very quickly. I also find that it doenst provide as flawless a finish as the Shiseido TM or the Philosophy TM, which I would rate above this. The colors work better than LM but the formula isnt as good, the only thing i really liked was the sun protection. This is basically a less hydrating version of the smashbox TM, which i prefer over this. This just doenst spread as well as what other TMs do, it can look cakey very easily even though very little product is used.

This is a review for the whitening serum available in most Asian countries. Everything about the physical qualities of this is great: easily absorbed, no pilling, layers well, lightly moisturising, mild non-offensive fragrance and opaque packaging. The downside is that it does nothing. After an entire bottle, i am sad to say that if you are after lightening, the concentration of the ingredients is too low to make a difference. I also suggest that you don't use the dropper since the rubber inside loosens each time, just use the cap it comes with as its completely air tight that way. I really wanted to like this, but 10% vit c does more than this or 5-8% niacinamide also does more.

This did nothing for me, did not even moisturise. Smells nice, nice texture, absorbs quickly into nothingness. I dont need much moisture but this didnt even deliver light moisture. Seriously, drugstore stuff is a mile ahead of this, dont buy into the hype. Did nothing for skin texture, tone ,etc. Ended up using it as body moisturiser just to finish it.

I didnt find this particularly effective, Effaclar by La Roche Posay is much better. I do however like the dispensing system and I recommend you keep it to use for other cleansers where the packaging is not good. This foams well, washes off well but i just didnt feel that it did that much. The price is a little high for what it is and there are other items that are much better for the price.

I have combo skin and i find that this tends to congest it. I prefer the Kiehls Advanced Line reducer which contains the same level of vit C but is far more sophisticated in texture. It causes my skin to be gritty at the end of the day and does not layer well. It doenst immediately absorb. I find the Ole Henriksen truth serum is also much better than this texture wise, but its not as high in vit c concentration. This is a mix of vit c, peptides and retinol. The delivery system is air tight and its great but the formula is just a fail. I get much better results using Peter Thomas Roth retinol infusion PM which contains the same level of retinol as this. They seriously need to work on the formula. Its like potent ingredients mixed together in a couldron without much thought as to how it absorbs or how it layers. I really wanted to like this but it just makes everything else on my face slide. And given that serum is the first thing i put on my face, I just cannot justify using this. This could be ok for dry-very dry skins since it could absorb better.

This is the ideal foundation for dry-very dry skins with a perfectly smooth face. The new EL invisible fluid foundation is a MUCH better choice as i purchased both at the same time. This has been returned. This did not work for me since it made me so oily and it oxidised. It also pooled in some surface scars i have right now (flakies, temporary acne scars, etc) and seeped into some fine lines. I have normal-combo skin which needs blotting once a day in the PM but i just felt that this made me look like a disco ball. Their powder foundation is much better. I also find the color too yellow and I am oriental asian so that says a lot. Coverage is light which is eaten away by the oilies by after lunch.

Cleansers -Nubian Heritage - African Black Soap Plantain Enzyme Facial Cleanser

This cleanser leaves a strange residue on my face, its not oily but it looks almost like a matt coating. It cleans OK but i cannot stand the fact that it smells like sheeps guts or lanolin. Its so pungent it makes me sick. The packaging is also a clear example of a company that has not used their own product. Its gooey but no runny and the packaging with a squeeze top lid makes it impossible to get anything out after the first 10%. But you can turn it on its head you really have to use some serious elbow great, its like the remant of tomato sauce in a glass bottle - close to impossible, but it has 90% left. This alone is unintelligent and is enough to piss me off entirely. Bottom line - stick with Shea Terra, their cleansers are much better, more effective and cheaper as well.

Cleansers -Alba Botanica - Natural Acnedote Deep Pore Wash

This is one of the best cleansers I have found for acne prone skin. Even better its natural and dirt cheap. Its more effective than my beloved Effaclar and more cost effective than the burts bees cleanser for acne. Seriously you must try this if you are after something that works. I know with acne cleansers it can be hard to determine if a cleanser can actually make a difference, believe me, with this you can tell and being $8 a bottle if you dont like it you can always use it as body wash. I dont like the bottle it comes in so I emptied into a pump bottle, its very runny and you need much less than you think. It foams a little and washes off easily. This trump anything Mychelle, Vichy, clinique, etc has to offer in terms of acne cleansers. The only way this product can be better is for it to come in a pump bottle but for the price and the quantity you get, I can easily overlook this.

This is one overpriced resurfacing product. Having now used most of the 50ml bottle, I would say that this is a product for those that have close to perfect skin and which only needs very light exfoliation. There is nothing you cannot achieve with a good AHA serum. I think the expensive part comes from the silky formula. It layers wonderfully with just about everything, does not clog pores, glides on and absorbs instantly. It is great under makeup and doenst add any weight. If you are after a sophisticated formula, I would definitely rate this. This was also not strong enough for me, I need to use this 2x a day for a week for what I can see in 2 days with other resurfacing products (this juice beauty green apple peel). I am however after visible results without the price tag so I would still prefer 15% glycolic acid serum (vivite is a great one at about 35% of this price), but any acid product will make you shiny so I would only use at night, with this, there is no additional shine factor. I would not repurchase since its a huge price to pay for just a nice silky formula when I can get results for much cheaper. This does feel very cosmetic ie it only works while its on, once you wash it off, its gone, so this is a product you need to use on a daily basis, rather than in rotation. I guess I prefer more powerful products which I can rotate and for daily basis products, I need them to contain antioxidants, which unfortunately this does not contain.

This is on the better side of OK. What i did like about it is that it is very non-obrusive, absorbs well, no millia, it maintains the status quo. I cant really see any anti-ageing benefits though and no brightening action as claimed. It has no fragrance and absorbs well under makeup. The squeeze tube is great and gets every last bit out. The bionic eye cream under the exuviance label is a bit better but quite a bit more in price so if you are very price discriminant, best to try this first. This provides the perfect level of moisturisation and is not greasy at all.
