Nice base for green or gold eyeshadows. It doesn't crease on my eyelid even without primer if I use the right amount and blend properly. So the only con is we have to apply it with extra care. What I normally do is I dab a small amount on my finger then blend it to my lid. I also fail sometimes, especially I'm in a rush in the morning. But for the price, I can definitely accommodate that. I found the NYX slim eye pencil in white pearl is also a great base for light color eyeshadows (soft, doesn't crease, but only for this color. Other colors may be to hard to apply and blend on the lid). It's only CAD 3.99 so don't hesitate to give it a try. Highly recommend.

Moisturizers -Nivea - Light Moisturizing Day Care

I am impressed by this product. As it is inexpensive, I really didn’t expect too much from it but I was wrong. I purchased this cream because my existing lotion does not provide me with enough moisture in these dry days. I researched on MUA and decided to give it a try. When I first put it on, I really didn’t feel it's moisturized at all. I even felt it's a bit too dry but I didn’t expect a high quality from an inexpensive cream so that’s ok. However, I noticed the difference when I washed my face at night – my face was not oily at all! This was the only change in my face care routine on that day, and the only reason I could think of is this cream gave me enough moisture to prevent my skin producing oil to compensate the dryness. I’m so happy. My face normally gets really oily in the afternoon, but this has not happened anymore since I have started using this cream. Besides, my face becomes clearer. I was easy to get pimples but now no more since my pores do not need to squeeze out oil =). Now I totally understand how important a suitable moisturizer is. It can really reduce my skin problems. P.S. I have the Rich version too but for my skin they create no big difference. I don’t really feel one is lighter and one is richer, but both work great for my skin and good under makeup.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clean & Clear - Oil free Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

Too bad that this good remover has been discontinued :( It's on sale at London Drugs right now (CAD 5.99). I don't know if this is the greatest deal but I grabbed two bottles anyways. The only one thing I don't like about this product is just the packaging. Easy to spill out.

Concealers -Revlon - Age Defying Moisturizing Concealer (New) [DISCONTINUED]

This is a good concealer. Its quality is great for the price and you actually get more than what you have paid for. I also use Laura Mercier Secret Concealer on those days that UV is not too strong or when I go out at nite (as it doesn't contain SPF). The LM's concealer is more buttery while this one is more foundation-like. I found it gives me the most natural finish when I use it wet so I always apply it with a wet concealer brush (FYI - I use the EcoTools concealer brush which is only few bucks at Superstore or Walmart, and it works great with all my concealers). As I use it wet, I just need a very tiny amount each time. I took out 1 point because it dries pretty fast on skin so I need to blend it quickly once apply. Overall, it is a very good concealer, especially when you are on budget. I am not disappointed by this product.
