Something in the DHC products gives me cystic pimples. My skin is rather sensitive. This has a great feel and melts dirt and makeup away. However, there is no skincare product I will continue to use if it makes me break out.

This gave me cystic pimples that took about a month to go away. Yuck!!! I did not notice any fading of sun damage, but maybe I did not use it long enough. It has a very light texture; not for dry skin.

Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects Moisturizing UV Formula

I used this for about two years and continued to look older and older. Finally, I switched to Murad and Skinceuticals and quickly noticed a difference in the tone, texture, and fine lines of my skin. This is okay for a moisturizer but does nothing for anti-aging. I also don't like the way the pump works. Too much comes out and it ends up being wasteful.

I got this as a gift with purchase and was initially a little wary. It is very light, and I have dry skin. However, it works great and provides enough moisture for most of the year. In the winter I need to use something else. It smells great and feels tingly on my skin. I really like all Murad products.

Moisturizers -Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 15

I have used this moisturizer for about a year, along with the rest of the essential-c line. My texture and tone of sun damaged, dry skin has improved. While this is pretty expensive, at least it has improved my skin, which I have not ever seen in drug/department store brands. I will keep using it.

I love this moisturizer. It smells great and feels good on my skin. I use the whole essential-c line, and I have noticed a big improvement in the texture and tone of my skin. I am in my 30s with dry, sun damaged skin and a few fine lines. This works for me!

Cleansers -Murad - Environmental Shield Essential-C Cleanser

I really like the whole essential-c line. This cleanser is gentle with a nice, light citrus fragrance. It seems gentle, and I have had no problems with breaking out, which happens to me with some products. It easily washes away all makeup.

This has definitely helped improve the tone and texture of my sun damaged skin. My skin is sensitive, and probably because I use a retin a product, it initially flaked and scaled a little. When I added the skinceuticals b5, the scaling stopped. What I don't like is the packaging. Several times I have almost knocked it over. If this happens, all the serum would be lost. Also, I think the list price is ridiculously high, but it is affordable on ebay. Even with the drawbacks, I will keep using it because it does work.

I am in my mid 30's with lots of sun damage. After using the Essential-C line for three months, I do see an improvement in my skin tone and fine lines. I recommend this whole line, but it is pricey.
