I'm NC20 with yellowish undertones. I LOVE this in the crease, it's just gorgeous. Easy to blend, subtle shimmer. Love.
I'm a big lover of MLBB lipsticks, and this looked like a lovely MLBB with a hint of pinky coral. Man, was I wrong! I'm NC20 with yellowish undertones. This looked very orange on me, and felt gritty. Went straight to swap! Ugh.
I only wouldn't repurchase because this doesn't suit my skintone. I'm NC20/25 and this looks completely beigey brown on me. I do look very washed out and ashy with it on. However I personally love the matte finish, I find it very smooth to apply and thinks it looks lovely and natural on.
Im really into MLBB colours, my fave is creme cup by mac atm. I bought this thinking this would be another mlbb but I was mistaken! Im nc20/25 and this looked really brown on me. Certainly not a good look. I agree with others who say it made them look dead! I do like satin finishes though, I actually dont find them drying at all unlike some people. I got 'brave' ls at the same time as this, its very similar but slightly pinker and I much prefer it.

Obviously this is going to be compared to MAC's Fix+! I haven't used Fix+ so I can't compare it to that. This is only £3.50 for 60ml, and doesn't have a particularly strong smell. It dries very quickly, and here is what I have observed to my makeup after a few hours, where my makeup usually has faded some - EYESHADOW - hasn't faded! SCORE! usually does! it has creased slightly, but this is most probably due to the fact that I didn't use a primer - the actual colour itself is still there in the same place. MASCARA - hasn't smudged under my eye like usual. BLUSH - the colour HAS faded SLIGHTLY HIGHLIGHT - likewise - only SLIGHTLY faded POWDER (i don't use foundation on regular basis) - still there! my nose has become slightly shiny, but the rest of my T-zone and face is fine, still matte like when i first applied. a good result for me! i will update if anything changes over more time. i would've preferred to have given this 3.5 lippies but the price bumped it up (plus it's not actually possible to score half a lippie! ha) can I just praise the ELF shipping too - i don't know if it's different cos i'm in the UK, but i've seen a lot of people moan about it. however, I received my package in less than 24 hours!
Probably one of the SOFTEST brushes I have ever tried, aside from the other ELF studio line ones. I have only tried this with powders, and my only complaint is that it doesn't pick up a huge amount of product. However, like another member mentioned, the end of this brush is perfect for contouring. It's extremely flexible too, and can reach all nooks and crannies of the face. Only £3.00, too - bargain! And each time I have ordered ELF, it has come in less than 24 hours when I've ordered before 5pm. awesome.
Let me just say, I ordered this at about 3pm on the Wednesday and got my order THE VERY NEXT DAY! In less than 24 hours! And p+p is completely free!! For £3.50, this is amazing! Let me just say that the smell doesn't bother me at all, infact IMO I can't even really smell anything? I don't know if mine's different cos i'm in the UK.. HUGE bottle (IMO), simple packaging, love that it's just a light spray. The idea is that you use this between every/every other make-up application and then do a thorough wash of your brushes every week or so, depeding on the usage. I spritz this a couple of times on each brush and wipe it clean with a tissue or dry cloth. Obviously this doesn't wash it completely but it's not meant to. For a quick clean and to make your brushes hygenic again, it's perfect!
The lipstick actually looks much prettier than the one in the main picture! Its the perfect coral with slight turquoise and gold shimmer. Very pretty in the tube, quite pretty swatched on the hand, not so much on the lips :( it makes me look washed out, its not pigmented at all and all I can see is a bit of shimmer, no coral! It shows up EVERY imperfection on my lip. I want to keep it just to look at the pretty colour in the tube and hopefully convince myself it's prettier than I actually think :(
I only wouldn't buy this product again because of the colour, not because of the quality! The swatch on the website is different. I'm NC20 and on me this looks more of a terracotta than a peachy shimmery colour. Staying power and pigmentation is good though and it applies smoothly! And it's DIRT CHEAP!
My first ever NARS product, received in a swap, and I am utterly disappointed :( I love the packaging so i'm tempted to keep it just to ogle it from the outside lol! However the wand is so small and useless and pointy, it doesn't hug my lips the way others have done. Also, the colour is not as nude as it looks, infact it just adds an off-colour shimmer to my lips. After only a few minutes it had settled into the creases of my lips, my lips aren't even dry! Terribly thick and sticky too. I'm reluctant to buy other NARS now just cos of this! EDIT: Also, this l/g smells really bad..
I can't explain how much I ADORE this lipstick. I received it in a swap new, and am alrwady considering buying a back up! The colour is very similar to angel but I prefer it by miles because I find it more muted, less in-your-face pink. It's more pink than my lips, so I would say it's defnitely a MLBB. the formula is so creamy and not drying at all, it lasts too, especially if you dust powder over the top of one layer than apply another layer. Stunning.
*cries* I am soooo disappointed! I am a student so am on a very tight budget, but I was lusting after this soooo much, so I was on the MAC website and my hand had a spasm and clicked on the buy button, you know, as it does... I put this in my little pro palette quad and when it came to trying to, I expected strong pigmentation and long-lasting colour... However all I got was a very sheer shimmery orange that faded after hardly any time at all! So upset :( I have to say, I am a PPP so this just made me look slightly ill... I think darker skinned/tanned girls would look sooo much better in this!
Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush Duo - Moon River (Grand Duos Coll.)

I received this in a swap. Whilst the design is absolutely stunning, when I put it on my cheeks it just looks slightly glittery. I'm an NC20, a true PPP, and the colour doesn't show up at all! I even tried it as a highlight, but it still just looks like some faint glitter that you can only see in certain lights. Don't be fooled but that picture above where it shows you swatches of Moon River. I think to get colours that pigmented you'd have to scrub really hard on the product!

I would only buy again because it's dirt cheap and the hair are really soft and in an even line. However, I purchased this brand new from online and when it arrived, as soon as I picked it up the wooden handle just fell from the metal shaft! Useless packaging!
Blush -E.L.F. - All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
supersophie 10/29/2010 12:51:00 PM
This is average. I would only buy it again because it's so handy! Firstly, be warned - this is MUCH smaller than I thought when I bought it online! I think I was comparing the size to NARS multiples - big mistake - this is only about 2" tall! Also, when I took it out the plastic and tried to twist it, it wouldn't twist up. I tried to push it up - it then just fell apart in my hands! So the packaging quality is AWFUL. I've had this with other E.L.F products too. The lid needs a really good click to be on properly though. This kinda smells of sherbert! I find this colour really pretty on my lips, despite all the cons I just listed. It is a pearly mid-toned pink. It looks quite nice on the cheeks too, although it needs quite a bit of blending and you only need a tiiiny bit! For £1.50, though, what the hell.
