Eyes -MAC - Prep + Prime Lash
rated 4 of 5

I really like this primer, recently repurchased for the third time! Consistency is creamy and applies easily. Adds volume and length, definitely upgrades any mascara and you don't have to layer a million times to get fabulous lashes. A tube lasts many months and it's relatively innexpensive. I'm not sure if it's the best out there but it's a good one for sure!

Lipstick -MAC - Satin Lipstick - Myth
rated 2 of 5

Tried Myth today. Not as white as Fleshpot but it still made me look dead. Dead and gone. At last I realize that sheer nudes work best for me so my lips look subtle but not washed out. I hope it works better for others but if you like this look why not just use a concealer stick that can be more multitasking?

Palettes -Urban Decay - Naked Basics
rated 4 of 5
stls 4/2/2013 5:06:00 PM

I'm a bit confused about this palette. Are the eyeshadows good quality? Yes. Are they wearable? Yes. Is it travel friendly? Yes. Is it a good deal considering the price and the amount of product? Yes. The thing is... which of us doesn't have a satin off white like Venus? Or a matte black like Crave? A neutral brown like Faint? And W.O.S. looks exactly like painterly. Naked 2 is a cooler Wedge and Foxy is a powder form of a lighter Soft Orche - and I already have these. Still got the Basics palette since I like soft earthy mattes for everyday, but I could achieve the provided looks with the eyeshadows I already own - most probably won't repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Wedge Eyeshadow
rated 4 of 5
stls 4/2/2013 4:56:00 PM

I wasn't unpressed with Wedge at first. Ok, just a medium neutral tan eyeshadow. Nice application and longevity but it didn't knock my socks off. Some months later I still don't find it super unique and I have found other eyeshadows that compliment my fair skin and light green eyes more (like Haux and Quarry) but still like Wedge because it's a total no brainer for everyday crease. I'll use it up but I'm not sure about repurchasing.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Womanity Eau pour Elles
rated 4 of 5
stls 4/2/2013 4:44:00 PM

I clearly remember testing Womanity a few times in the past: loved the top notes but unfortunately the caviar was dominating and unpleasant during the drydown. I was disappointed. Nevertheless I tried the new flanker and I'm happy to report that Eau pour Elles keeps all the elements I liked about Womanity and non of the culprits! Although caviar is still listed I only get loads of sweet figs, some fresh strawberries and light sea breeze in the background. Longevity and projection are not as strong as the original but still pretty good. Overall I think Womanity Eau pour Elles is a very sweet and juicy figy perfume that I can see myself enjoying during the summer. Frankly, I'm sold.

Lipstick -MAC - Cosmo Lipstick
rated 5 of 5
stls 4/2/2013 11:55:00 AM

Another great lipstick from MAC! It reminds me of my very first lipstick 10 years ago. It was just a drugstore cheapie but the color was so lovely! Cosmo is MLBB - and a tad darker- one. Neutral medium pink with brown undertones just enough so it doesn't look Barbie- like. Goes well with everything and gives beautiful rich pigment, makes my face look so alive! Very sophisticated and versatile shade. Of course the Amplified texture is superb. Smooth, creamy, hydrating, applies evenly and leaves a pretty pinkish stain. Lasts long too! What else can I say, this one stays in my bag all year round, love!

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Alien
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 8:23:00 PM

I haven't much to say about Alien. It's the ultimate sweet warm jasmine bomb and very recognizable but rather linear. Amazing sillage and longevity as with all TMs. I appreciate the quality but don't care for the actual perfume, prefer my jasmin discreet and delicate (like Jasminora by Guerlain) rather than bombastic and futuristic. The only flanker I can see myself buying so far is Essence Absolue - .feels more cozy and rounded.

Fragrances -Thierry Mugler - Angel Celestial Hair Mist
rated 4 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 8:17:00 PM

One of my favorite products out of the Angel range and a rather interesting way to wear a perfume - especially if you find the edp obnoxious. Thankfully I don't get patchouli here. Mostly fresh berries and sweet honey. Love to use it if I have been around smokers or after styling with hot tools - my poor burned hair don't smell exactly delicious after this process... Also the price isn't over the top and the packaging is nothing fancy. Wish it lasted longer though.

Lotions/ Creams -Thierry Mugler - Angel- Voile Celeste Celestial Body Lotion
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 8:09:00 PM

I have mixed feelings about this lotion. The texture is cream gel and blue colored. It's very easily absorbed but not really moisturizing. The scent is not identical to Angel edp since I don't detect the patchouli here. Smells more luminous and sweet berry-ish but in a rather artificial way. I like it though. Very strong and longlasting, stays on clothes for days. Very pricey as well. I don't think I'll repurchase.

Fragrances -Lanvin - Oxygene
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 8:00:00 PM

I find Oxygene rather interesting. It starts with a mildly spicy peppery blast that I find more masculine than feminine. After 30' I can detect mostly milky and slightly powdery gardenias. My favorite part. And stays that way until it fades actually. Moderate sillage and longevity, the packaging is rather bulky. A pretty scent but not one of my faves, won't repurchase.

Lotions/ Creams -Roger & Gallet - Bois d'orange gentle fragrant moisturizing body lotion
rated 4 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 7:53:00 PM

It's a good quality product for sure. * Neither runny nor thick * Easily absorbed * Ultra moisturizing * The scent is really longlasting * Pretty packaging * Fair price The only think that's not perfect for me is the scent. It's not bad it all, I find it refreshing and interesting actually but it's not my taste. I expected it to be more citrusy and juicy but I find it rather dry-ish instead. It's built around herbs and wood more than around the actual orange - at list that's the way it translates on my skin. Very aromatic. I ended up mixing it with The Body Shop Sweet Lemon body butter to accentuate the citrus and works nicely but the scent of Bois d'orange is more dominating. In a nutshell if you're into herbal woody aromatic perfumes give it a try.

Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge in Love
rated 4 of 5
stls 3/22/2013 7:37:00 PM

I've got 322M - Corail in love. It's a very pretty peachy pink shade, glossy and brightening. Glides beautifully and feels comfortable and moisturizing. Lasts much better than the L’Absolu Nu lipsticks and thankfully there isn't the obnoxious rose scent of Nu here. No taste either. I like it and would recommend but I already have some similar shades in my collection so I don't plan on repurchasing.

Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - Illusions Noires Le Premier Parfum Eau de Minuit
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/13/2013 5:57:00 PM

As a die hard fan of the original Lolita Lempicka testing this new version was a must. I don't own a bottle, just sampled it. The opening was somewhat similar to the original because of the licorice but softer, less ''green'' and the drydown was lacking depth and complexity. It's not bad but unfortunately it failed to impress me today.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Madera Omnia Profumo - Omnia Profumo
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/13/2013 5:53:00 PM

I never considered Angel edible personally (patchouli doesn't really seem to taste delicious after all) but this one is another story! There's noticeable caramel in, but not the smoked with benzoin kind like Prada Candy, nor it is uber sweet like Angel, it has more of a ''vanilla pudding, scented with coconut and topped with caramel sauce'' feel... It's a lovely smooth gourmand that doesn't smell synthetic and won't suffocate anyone IMHO. I'm not a fan of the drydown though - it definitely develops a slightly waxy quality, like a vanilla candle. It has soft silage and good longevity but if you wanna try this watch out because it will certainly make you crave for high quality cream and caramel pastry!

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Very Estee
rated 3 of 5
stls 3/13/2013 5:50:00 PM

Very Estee is nothing particularly interesting IMHO. Just a well behaved watery light floral. Jasmine, lotus, freesia, but very faint. Not that fresh either. Linear. Silage and longeity are average. I'll pass.
