In regards to color, Dejarose falls somewhere in between Pink Poodle and Boy Magnet. It is not as shimmery as Pink Poodle and it doesn't have the bluish tinge that Boy Magnet has; it's just a rosy dark pink. I didn't think it was that bright, but it's definitely not on the subtle side.
I stopped buying kohls after switching to powerpoints, but there is no powerpoint equivalent to Violet Underground so I bought it. I don't think it's that bright but the color is beautiful nonetheless. I use it over UD Primer Potion and it doesn't smudge or smear during the day.
Iris Print looks better in the pot than when applied, IMO. First of all, my brush barely picks up any pigment from it, and I've tried using MAC 242, 239, and 213. I had to use it wet for it to even show up at all. Secondly, the color itself is not that impressive. In the pot, the sparkles are visible, but they don't show up on my eyelids. WTF? It actually reminds me a lot of Idol Eyes both in color and quality.
I had been looking for a shimmery pale yellow eye shadow for several months so when Spring Up came out, I purchased it immediately. It's exactly what I was hoping for-- less chalky than Unorthodox and less golden than Ricepaper. It's also really versatile; I've been wearing it with greens, purples, and oranges.
I purchased this from the website without seeing it first and when I received it in the mail, I was disappointed. It looks a lot like Dainty Cake to me in the tube, which I absolutely abhor. When I tried it on, however, it looked a lot better than I expected; it's a dark apricot with pink frost, and not like Dainty Cake at all. I use it with Subculture lipliner.
Culturebloom is my favorite lipstick as of late. It's a sheer red with pink and golden shimmer. It reminds me of NARS Flaming Dust but with added depth. It also looks really pretty underneath Venetian lustreglass. I'll probably be using this lipstick a lot in the spring.
Cleansers -Jason Natural Cosmetics - Tea Tree Soap for Hands and Face

I was looking for a cruelty-free cleanser when I stumbled upon this little gem. Most face washes are the same to me because they don't really make a difference in my skin, but I noticed that this one doesn't leave filmy residue and it isn't drying like the others I've used. I love that it has organic tea tree oil and natural ingredients because it never makes my skin red or irritated. I will keep buying this soap as long Jason keeps making it.
Fresh Moroccan is a brick red with bronze shimmer. It is definitely not a bright red, but it is more red on the lips than it appears in the tube (it looks very brown-red to my eye.) It's a nice, universally flattering color, but I prefer MAC Rage to Fresh Moroccan, which is slightly redder. Fresh Moroccan is probably a good choice for those who want to get into reds but shy away from the really bright ones like Ruby Woo or Russian Red.
Captive is a dark mauve-pink, pretty much the same color on the lips as it is in the tube. It's not that bright (as other reviewers remarked,) but it's definitely not soft or dull (MAC Craving is a slightly muted version of Captive, IMO.) The satin formula isn't as drying as the matte formula, but it does last a good few hours before it starts wearing off.
Capricious is a pinkish plum in lustre formula. I wouldn't have gotten it had I known it was so similar to other colors I already own (it looks exactly like MAC Captive + balm,) but nevertheless, it is a pretty color and fairly versatile. It's moisturizing but doesn't last long, as is usually the case with lustres.
I purchased Overtly Plum from the website without trying it, so when I finally received it in the mail and tried it on, I was ecstatic that it was the exact color I had been searching for for months. It is a creamy, rosy plum in amplified creme formula. It's a pretty universal color, so I ended up getting a tube for a friend who also loves it.
I swapped for Collection unsniffed (and if I may add, from a wonderful swapper!) I really lucked out; I love this fragrance. The top notes are syrupy maraschino cherries and really sweet cola (think Jolt-- it's that sweet.) Then the vanilla starts to develop and mellows out the cherries and cola. I don't get any tobacco or smoke from this, oddly. It is a lovely fragrance for fall so I'm happy I got this when I did.
Fragrances -Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Perfumes - Fraiche Passiflore

I usually love fruity florals, but something in Fraiche Passiflore makes me not love it. Fresh and fruity, indeed, but it reminds me of a perm solution as soon as it touches my skin. I can see how others like it, and I'm a little disappointed it didn't work out for me.
Sadly, I don't detect any almond (which is what I was really looking forward to.) The rum is transparent and it smells mostly of cinnamon on my skin. It almost reminds me of some kind of candle. I get a little bit of honey also, though I really have to try hard to find it. I still like the scent though it is not what I was expecting.
Rush is a lovely spicy-floral. Luckily, I can't detect any patchouli; I get mostly vetiver, incense, and indistinguishable flowers. It's not a fragrance I'd normally go for, but it reminds me of a perfume my mom used to have so it could be I was subconsciously drawn to it. As soon as I use up my sample, I'm going for the bottle.
