This is a good shampoo for you if you want your hair to look darker than it is. I am a brunette with nice highlights which were totally covered up by this shampoo. I generally like my hair to look lighter and not darker. So it depends what your purpose is. Also, for an organic shampoo, I found this to be on the drying side. It contains olefin sulfonate, which is just as drying as Ammonium Lauryl Sulfates, ALS or SLS, Sodium Lauryl Sulfates.
Skincare - Body -Neutrogena - Comforting Butter Hand Cream

I have found my HG hand cream. This is sooooooo moisturizing and very emollient. My hands feel moisurized long after I've applied it. Perfect anytime of the year but especially in the winter when heat can be drying to skin. I only wish they would make this in a larger size, preferably with a pump attached to use as a body lotion as well. The smell is like a hint of vanilla, but not overpowering like some other vanilla scented lotions. This feels smooth as butter on your hands.
Blush -Clinique - Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Aglow
sophrn 10/2/2007 2:10:00 PM
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I did not like this blush. Did not show up on me and made me look pale. I would reach for a bronzer anyday before I would reach for this.
Overall, great self tanning lotion. The color is very natural and I am pleased with the end results. However, it takes a long time to dry, at least an hour, and will stain clothes if you dress immediately after use. I usually cannot wait that long and apply after I am dressed, thus, not getting the tan look everywhere I want. As it dries, the odor can be a bit nauseating. Also, needs to be blended very well, otherwise will leave streaks.
Treatments -Clairol - Clairol Nice'n Easy ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss

This is a deep conditioner treatment, and not an everyday use conditioner. That being said, it definitely is one of the better deep conditioner treatments out there, however, I would not give it HG status. It's really good overall and I would buy again as a weekly treatment.
Lip Liners -Prestige - Waterproof Lipliner - Natural

Oh my! This is identical to Lancome's Bronzelle minus $20. I tried them on side by side and the color is exactly the same. This is a steal at approx. 2 1/2 dollars and a staple in my make-up collection.
I totally agree with the reviewer below. I actually found this to be a below average serum and did not notice any shine to my hair after use.
I have normal/combo skin and this foundation was wayyyy too greasy for me. It felt like I was applying oil to my skin rather thean make-up. It may work well for those with dry skin, but if you have normal or oily skin, this will be too greasy for you.
Styling Products -Nioxin - Nioxin Smoothing Reflective Finishing Cream

This is the best styling/finishing cream I've used. It imparts a nice sheen to the hair after use. It's not a miracle worker on frizz though. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because it has a sticky feel to it. I normally don't use products with a sticky feel to them because they tend to cause build-up and weigh the hair down, but this does not. The smell is divine, a nice fruity scent, which I look forward to using on my hair. You only need a little bit of this product to get good results.
I thought this was too bright. I compared it with Nectar, and the Nectar is much more natural looking and is in the same color family. Definitely not for fair to light skin tones, might be better suited for medium to dark complexions.
I actually really like this conditioner. I haven't found my HG of conditioners, but this isn't bad. It smells great, is gentle, and gives me frizz-free hair. No WOW factor though. My only gripe is that you get so little product for the money. Overall, not the best, not the worst, but above average, IMO.
Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Sheer Shine Mist

Oh my! I had to write a review on this as soon as I tried it. This is a finishing product to apply to dry hair for shine. It actually does work. The shine is noticeable, and hair does not look greasy. You have to hold the can 12 inches away from your hair, which I do. I'm not sure about frizz control, but this product does not claim to do away with frizz, only add shine, and it delivers. This is a must try, and will be a definite staple in my hair care collection. A true HG product and better than the glssing cream in my opinion.
Pressed Powders -Prescriptives - Virtual Skin Pressed Powder

This was my HG powder for years. Unfortunately, they discontinued it. Although I was very disappointed about that, I have been using Virtual Matte instead and am liking it just as much.

Ultra shine? Who are they kidding? This did absolutely nothing for my hair! It should be pulled off the shelves IMO.
