I love this colour! It is actually true that this teal/blue colour isn't crazily pigmented (as in once you apply, the colour isn't as blue as you thought it is), but I think that's because it's not a true blue since it has this crazily beautiful green-ish finish and look awfully great for brown eyes! True blue eyeshadows tend to look awkwardly too blue on your lid so I completely adore this one :) The finishing of this is so gorgeous! It gives out such an exotic and if I dare say, a summery look :) Thumbs up!
Concealers -Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector [DISCONTINUED]

I really like this concealer and maybe, it's the best at concealing my horrible dark circles so far. However, even if it is really creamy and blendable, I still have to moisturize my under eyes before applying it, or else, it looks a little bit cakey. I sweat a lot (especially when I work) and it doesn't smudge much, but I can definitely see it fade (where though) without creasing. As for the highlighter, I can see that it brightens up my brow bone, but aside from that, I can't see much of a difference. Thus, I doubt it is waterproof, but it isn't sooo bad let's say.
Moisturizers -Shiseido - Benefiance Daytime Protective Emulsion

I have normal skin and this thing gave me a bad bad skin reaction. I ended up, overnight, with tons of red acne-like dots all over the face :( ! It also left me super greasy. Really, you can find better moisturizer from Shiseido than this one.
I had such a baaaaad experience with this. The cap broke after a week (it cracked) and this thing smudges like crazy! It gave me racoon eyes 10 minutes after I apply it. Aside from the fact that it was a really intense black, I have nothing positive to say about this product. Rimmer duo eyeliners were so muuuch better in quality but I think they discontinued it since I can't find it anymore. Don't buy this, really. You are better off with other eyeliners.
Eyeliner -Almay - Intense i-color liquid liner in Black Pearl

I needed something to tightline my eyes and since I can't always do that with my gel eyeliner, I decided to get this. It's not a bad product (I used Rimmel Kohl eyeliner - what a huge mega big mess), but not something that impress me either. Many people do not like the shimmer in it, but if like me, you want to tightline your eyes with it, the shimmer won't be too appealing. As for lasting power, I wore it for 8 hours and it did smudge a little bit. While it was completely washed out from my upper waterline, it was still on my bottom waterline. Oh and I like the fact that it has a mini sharpener (you might have missed it; it is the black 'cap' at the top of the liner. Just pop it out) which is great! I won't purchase this item again (but will probably keep the mini sharpener when I run out of the liner hehe) because I know Almays has better eyeliners so I'll try that instead. Beside, I got this eyeliner for 12$ (maybe I was not lucky too) so I think it's a bit pricey for a drugstore liner, and for the result I got from it.
Styling Products -Dove - Smooth & Soft Anti-Frizz Cream

I love this product! I call it the hair lotion, because after straightening or curling my hair, this thing makes my hair look so soft and shiny. Of course, it's not really a styling product, aside from the fact that it makes the short hair goes flat down, thus giving you a more polished look. Oh an the smell is nice! I gave it 4 stars, because I would have preferred if the anti-frizz lasts a bit longer. Oh an the smell is nice!
Concealers -Revlon - ColorStay Stay Natural Concealer [DISCONTINUED]

Perhaps my under eyes are a lost case, but this concealer can't really cover my panda eyes. Aside from the fact that it look particularly dry when applied on the skin around my eyes (read cakey), it doesn't stay throughout the day without sliding around. It does a good job concealing redness though and the 'brush' applicator is quite precise.
Overall, good mascara if you want natural, long looking lashes. It won't add volume even if you apply many coats from my experience. It will however make your lashes look longer and seperate them evenly without, or with minimal clumping. I personally think this mascara makes a summer, flirty look at its best, but forget about going out at night with it :P
Great brush and greeat price! I love this brush so badly! I've been the same brush for almost a year and I wash it every week, but it is still soft and in perfect shape ! The downside is that it gets oily quite easily, because it is synthetic fiber so I recommend using dishes detergent (yeah, sounds harsh, but as long as you rinse it well, it's all good right?) and it won't dry the brush out. Four words : Good price, soft and durable.
Cleansers -Philosophy - the microdelivery exfoliating wash
soiia 6/19/2010 5:28:00 PM
I love this product! It exfoliates, but it gentle enough to be used everyday. I've notice a lot less whiteheads forming around my nose and I've been using it for a week and a half only. I don't know if on the long run, it will help me get rid of some blackheads, but for now, it doesn't make my skin all dry and flaky. I like the fact that it isn't drying like more exfoliant. Usually, after I've dried my face, exfoliants will make my skin feel all tight and dry, but not this one. I use this with my cetaphil lotion and it works great for now :) Even though it's a bit pricey (I bought the small format), I feel like it can last quite a while because you don't need that much product (it doesn't foam much) to make your skin feel squiky clean.
Ah, this thing is no good for me. Perhaps, it's because I'm Asian and the colour is just way too brown that it looks so unnatural on me. The WAX doesn't really have a colour when applied (except if you're caking your eyebrow with the wax), so it is good enough. A little bit is enough to set the powder afterward. That's the good part. But then, when you add the POWDER, that looks a lot less brown than the wax, the colour goes off-court. The result came out to be a lot more brown than my eyeshadow -.- and needless to say, this is no good. I don't know if e.l.f sells this in other tone (hopefully a lot more gray), because the texture is nice, but it's just the colour that is so off.
It's a good bb cream =) It really gives off a NATURAL look and has great OIL CONTROL. I wasn't oily at all after an entire day out with this thing! I bought #23 and the colour was perfect on me. It has a yellow undertone to it, which is quite flattering in my opinion (I'm asian). However, this bb cream is THICK and you do feel like you're caked with it. The COVERAGE is of course, really good because of its thickness. Don't expect it to hide freckles though. I find that it hides redness and "blueness" (around the eyes) quite well, but when it comes to dark spots like sunburns, freckles and old (acne) scars, neh.
BB Cream -MISSHA - M Watery BB Cream SPF25 PA++ [DISCONTINUED]
soiia 6/19/2010 5:05:00 PM
Overall, this product isn't bad. However, it has a gray tint that is stronger than most bb cream, which is good for people with a pink complexion and need a bb cream that can settle that. The COLOUR (I have #23) is a bit too dark for me, but that's just for THIS product because I have other Missha bb cream in #23 and this one is by far, one of the darkest. The TEXTURE is actually good, it really gives a 'natural' look (by that I mean that you don't look like you have makeup on), however, after 5-6 hours, I started to look quite oily in the T-zone and around the nose. No good. Despite the fact that it is indeed really watery, it is OILY too. I had to wash my face 2-3 times to get it completely off of my face. And even that, I still think I have some more product left because it does BREAK ME OUT a little bit if I use it everyday for a week. I think it's good for WINTER use, because it won't melt, but then again, you should maybe try or get a sample for the #21, because #23 is quite dark. For the darker complexion with dry skin people, you might give it a try.
