Conditioner -Boots - Almond and Coconut Oil Spray Conditioner
snow_white_suicide 6/12/2008 10:25:00 AM
I've been giving old Boots a far shot again after many years of spending a fortune on products that worked okay but no matter how much i wanted to trust reputable lines, i couldn't help but feel i was being ripped off a little. How much does the packaging matter once the product is on your head/face? As long as it does what you want it to... right? Right! Well after all that, i've found something that works. I really love this leave in conditioner as it helps to keep my bright red and black over processed mop nice and soft. The scent is maybe a little synthetic but who cares? It doesn't last and when that calms down, it just smells like coconut. Its all good for about £1.20!

I've had a bottle of this for about 2 years now and i still have half a bottle! It really does the job and keeps my dry ends smooth and silky, which of course, i love! Its so cheap too! Great product!

Cleansers -Clinique - Facial Soap Mild
snow_white_suicide 6/11/2008 6:51:00 PM
I found this to be pretty bloody disappointing. It does nothing for me at all and i'm pretty sure it had something to do with a badly behaved complexion for a while there. It's pretty much like all Clinique products. If you hate everything else they do, you won't like this either and you'd be better with Lush. I just can't believe i spent so much on a bar of soap! Fragrance free and currently sitting in my bathroom as an optional hand soap - and it doesn't even do that job properly!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express Mascara

I have tried a million high end mascaras, drugstore and even had a bash at making my own but i always come back to this. I could say all those things that everyone else has said but for me, i look for a good dark pigmented black, which it has, buildable formula, as i like a dramatic look without clumps, which it does, comes off easily at the end of the day without irritation and stays put, which it does! Hands down one of the best i've tried yet!

Mascara -Urban Decay - Skyscraper Mascara
snow_white_suicide 6/11/2008 6:39:00 PM
Smudgy, gloopy and basically, a really awful mascara. I did however, really like the colour. It looked really black on my lashes. It didn't lengthen, didn't give a curl let alone hold it and it took ages to persevere with in order to make it work. Cheerio skyscraper mascara! (As i chuck it across the room!)

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics - BADgal Lash

I'm very surprised i've never reviewed this because i love this mascara! Its definitely one of my favorites, as it lengthens and thickens brilliantly! The only thing i will complain about is that the brush is a little too big and i'm apt to make to odd mistake, which is a bit annoying but it is a great mascara!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

This is a great mascara for a dramatic look. As long as you let each coat dry in between, it doesn't clump.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara
snow_white_suicide 6/11/2008 6:21:00 PM
I had pretty good results with this mascara and it was quite buildable without any problems. The colour is good and it doesn't clump. I prefer something that gives a little more oomph to the lashes but this is a great mascara for those who want a more natural look.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

Since i was quite young, there have been rave reviews about this product. I remember it hitting the UK in the mid 90's and i had to try it. I can't remember what i thought of it around the age of 12/13 but i've certainly tried it since and can honestly say i can't understand why it seems to be the make up artists "secret weapon". For me, it did nothing but thats only because i want a dramatic look. Along the way, i've found that mid priced mascara does the job perfectly well and the only thing i think thats worse than this product is Diorshow. Cheap does not always mean useless. Don't let Maybelline put you off in the mascara stakes. After trying everything possible, i've found Volum' Express to be by far the best yet (non waterproof). So no, i won't be repurchasing at all.

Mascara -MAC - Pro Lash Colour in Boston Fern

I really don't have a clue why i bought this. It was a bit of a day for green and i went a bit mad! MAC mascara is never something i'm going to love. I'm all up for having my mind changed but maaan, its clumpy and offers no definition whatsoever.

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Aloe Vera Moisturizing Day Cream

I'm a little on the fence with this one. I'm on the hunt for a good day moisturiser. I have oily and sensitive skin but this doesn't seem to cause any problems. I'm not a great fan of the smell but that doesn't last so thats okay. I'll probably update this review as its only been a week, i'll give it a fair shot. So far no break outs, so thats a good sign!

Lip Gloss -BeneFit Cosmetics - Her Glossiness - Didnt Hear It From Me [DISCONTINUED]

I'm a bit of a gloss junkie and nudes are always difficult to get just right, especially if you are really pale. This was just too light for me. I don't have much pigmentation on my lips so i thought it would be okay. Sadly its another one for the big pile. Other comments are the scent of this. I can;t stand it. I have My people, your people and Life on the A List all pale shades but nothing to write home about. That'll teach me to go on a haul without testing first!

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Vanilla Line
snow_white_suicide 6/6/2008 11:13:00 AM
I'm so glad i came here and found snugglebunnyjm's review on this. I totally agree. The 90's Vanilla was something i used all the time. The shower gel was beautiful and the lotion made my skin so soft. No vanilla scent since that has touched it and i'm so disappointed in this, i say new but its been back for years! If anyone knows of anything that smells like the old vanilla line, please contact me!

Fragrances -The Body Shop - White Musk EDT
snow_white_suicide 6/6/2008 11:08:00 AM
Since theres no review slot for the EDP, i'll review mine here. I love this scent because its like that Demeter philosophy on childhood scents. This seems to have been around all my life. Friends of mine used it in primary school and most of the girls used it at secondary. I bought a bottle when i left school and i always seem to have a bottle of it. I'm 26 now and it conjours up so many memories for me. Such a warm comforting scent. Great for bed!

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Altaro Eau de Toilette

No, this scent makes me feel ill. I don't understand what the body shop are doing with this range. I usually love their fragrances but this is just too heady. Its sickening and way too sweet.
