i bought this at Target because it LOOKED promising, but when i opened up the tube it was completely dry!!!! it went straight back to the store and i bought Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara Triple Effect instead.

this crap is TERRIBLE! i love my maybelline full 'n soft but i was seeing if there was anything better out there, and this stuff sounded promising. when i applied it, i couldn't even tell that i was wearing mascara! did not length or curl AT ALL...i'm sticking with my full 'n soft.

Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - Moisture Sheer Tint [DISCONTINUED]

this is the first TM i've used and i really like it! other reviewers have been saying that this stuff doesn't really cover but it's a tinted moisturizer and it even SAYS its sheer coverage. if you want more coverage, go with a foundation instead. anyway, i use this stuff in fair [neutral in the summer] and it's a perfect match for me. this stuff is good at moisturizing and gives my skin a nice feel and also smooths it out and minimizes my discoloration. it doesn't hide acne so i use a concealer with it. i didn't notice any smell. and i love how this stuff has SPF in it!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Clue

the description on the MAC site - mid/tone dirty gray with pearl [frost] - imo explains this eyeshadow pretty well, maybe ALMOST like a taupy-brown but it looks more gray to me. it applies pretty sheer [which adds to it's versatility] or you can layer it on for more color payoff. i absolutely love this - it's my favorite gray/taupy-brown shadow and unfortunately it's LE....looks like i'll have to stock up =)

i really really like this powder! i have acne-prone combo skin [very oily t-zone, which is where i usually break out] and normal everywhere else. it really does a great job at cutting down shine. i have this in translucent light and it's the perfect match for me. it doesn't bother my skin or make it itch, either - i used a cover girl powder and it made my face very itchy and chalky. this stuff doesn't! the little brush that comes with it is crap, so i threw that way and threw in a powder puff for touch-ups, otherwise i just use a powder brush or my sonia kashuk retractable traveling powder brush. just tap off the excess and apply! i'll definitely continue to repurchase this stuff =] *EDIT* be careful because this powder crumbles/breaks pretty easily...i've kept it in my makeup bag in my purse and i don't just "throw" my bag everywhere...but when i went to reach for it a huge chunk was missing. it's a still great powder none-the-less, tho!

gorgeous bronzer and highlighter! gives my face the perfect glow! just be sure to tap off the excess on your brush before applying. less is more and you can always add more but it's hard to take it all off!

Concealers -Physicians Formula - Concealer Twins... Green and Natural

i like this. it doesn't cover up blemishes EXTREMELY well but it definitely makes them a lot less noticeable. i have the green/light one, so i apply a tiny bit of green concealer to my red blemishes [currently i have a really bad red blemish on my cheek!!!!], pat it in then apply the light concealer over that and pat it in...it takes away the redness and makes them a lot less noticeable. then i set it with a little bit of PF powder and then i'm good to go for the rest of the day =]

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satellite Dreams

i have brown eyes and i LOVE wearing purples because they make my brown eyes POP. satellite dreams is my favorite purple (with nocturnelle being my second) because it's a nice, deep, TRUE purple. the texture is nice and smooth and it has great pigment!

this is a nice, dark, frosty purple that every girl i think should try. i do agree with using a base because it will look like you have a bruise or something on your eye. i have brown eyes and it really makes my brown eyes POP! i also like to use this a liner...i'll usually line my top [outer] lid with black liner and then dust some of this on top with a 266 so it gives my liner a blackish-purple look - and it helps the liner from smudging on my ridiculously oily-lids.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

it's a really good mascara - it's nice and black (some mascaras just aren't "black" enough) and it doesn't clump or flake...really makes my lashes look nice and feathery, but for $23.50, i really would expect something more. i probably wouldn't purchase it again just because of the price - i'm equally happy with my maybelline full 'n soft mascara =)

Cleansers -Clinique - Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam

i love this stuff! i used to use ProActiv and then i switched to Acne Free...both containing benzoyl peroxide that really dried my skin out and made it burn really easily in the sun - even with sunscreen! so i switched to this stuff because i was intrigued (and also for the fact that it contained salicylic acid instead of BP lol) - i'm very impressed! it's a foaming cleanser and it makes my face feel so clean and fresh and it doesn't dry my skin out! this, along with the Acne Solutions Toner, has made a big difference in my skin. my skin isn't completely clear, but it's a lot clearer than it used to be :)

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover

okay, i must be the only one that thinks this stuff sucks! even after completely saturating a cotton pad with this stuff and holding it over my eye for 10-15 seconds to let the product "dissolve" the eye makeup, it does NOTHING. i usually use maybelline's expert eyes eye makeup remover and it does a MUCH better job than this crap. don't waste your money.

Concealers -L'Oreal - Infallible Concealer

i've been very disappointed with L'Oreal products in the past...especially with their Voluminous mascara. it has awesome reviews here on MUA (and other places like specktra, etc) but when i tried it it was clumpy and it was nowhere near to being "voluminous" at all. i've been on the search for a good concealer and since there were a lot of good reviews about Infallible here on MUA, i decided to give it a try regardless of the $10 price tag for such a tiny amount of product...why do you have to overprice your products, L'Oreal, why???!!! anyway, this is the one L'Oreal product that i'm quite impressed with! i purchased it in fair/light which matches my skin tone perfectly! it's pretty decent on blemishes (tho i don't know if it's oil-free) and good on red ones too (but use a green concealer beforehand)...as for undereye circles, i'm quite impressed! it doesn't really mask them completely but it definitely makes them a lot less noticeable! i've finally found a concealer that makes me happy!

Lip Gloss -Cover Girl - Fruit Spritzers-Watermelon Splash

i love these lipglosses! watermelon splash {in the tube} is a coral / pinkish red and on my lips maybe it has a SLIGHT coral / pinkish red tint but other than that it's pretty much clear. regardless the gloss is nice and smooth, not goopy and not overly sticky like most glosses can be, and it smells great!!! just like watermelon jolly ranchers. the victoria's secret beauty rush lipgloss in melonrageous is also like a watermelon jolly rancher but i prefer the cover girl version :)
