Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

I bought this eyeshadow in Tough as Taupe and it was disappointing considering the many rave reviews I heard about it. It does appear to be longer lasting than most other eyeshadows but applying it was more than a pain. It was hard to spread the shadow out evenly since it's a very thick, almost clay-like gel and when I was able to get it on, it still looked muddy and smudgy. This would be an okay shadow if you're looking for an all over color on the lid (and can deal with the messy application), but not for contouring or smoky eyes - it's too hard to blend. EDIT: Tough as Taupe was just hard to work with. I had better luck with the non-matte colors but most of them are too shimmery for me. Still prefer MAC paint pots.
