I had high hopes for this mascara but this just didn't live up to it. I find the primer useless since it did little for my lashes and it does not go well after coating the black mascara on afterwards. Not ony the primer does little, it makes my lashes later feel really uncomfortable. The mascara without primer is so so. The only pro is that I actually liked the mascara wand. Not a fan, will not repurchase.
Eyeliner -Revlon - Matte Luxurious Color Kohl Eyeliner in 01 BLACK TRUFFLE

Not the best eyeliner ever but not a really bad one either. It's one of those products that make you sigh because there's simply nothing too bad or too good about it. The cap almost refused to stay on for mine so I chucked it a while back. The product itself is easy to apply but staying power is not that great. I'm also not a fan of the design of the smudger (hard to use). Overall, so so product that's almost too easy to forget and move on.
This is a great product for what it does. It's really soft and gentle on the skin. I haven't experienced any shedding after washing this brush which is always a plus. The only fault I have with this is that it bristles could be a little more sturdy to help 'buff' into the skin, but that's a matter of preference I guess. The product overall is pretty good. Would recommend to anyone considering its price.
I love this brush. The bristles are soft but sturdy, I haven't experienced any shedding when I wash the brush and overall, it's a product that you can definitely getting the 'bang' for your buck. It works well for buffing in powders such as mineral foundation and for stippling on liquid makeup. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the price. :) Would recommend to anyone.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

I had high hopes for this curler from all the reviews I've been reading. However, it turned out to be a so-so curler though you cannot argue with the price tag the product comes with. I can see why this product would work so well with those with more rounder eye shapes but those who are more of an almond shaped eye like myself, I don't suggest buying this product.
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Mederma - Skin Care for Scars

I'm quite disappointed with this product since I was expecting quite a lot for its small size and hefty price. Like any scar recovering products, it requires lots of patience and religious application. I used this for a while, applying everyday (day + night) on both new and old scars. The scar spots turned really itchy, red and later flaky skin. I really hated it, but soon grown tolerance to it. However, what I did not like after all these 'effects' is that my scars did not reduce. My old scars did not lighten, and my new scars actually took more time to heal than if I just left it to heal on its own. I'm severely disappointed, will not purchase. Not suitable for sensitive skin.
I really like to use this a makeup remover. It's great at removing hard to remove makeup, love it. The only downfall is probably squeezing the baby oil out, it can become very messy.
BB Cream -Dr. Jart+ - Rejuvenating Silver Label BB Cream SPF 30
renyun 12/29/2010 10:25:00 AM
This product has a very thick consistency but not as thick as brtc's blemish bb cream. It has a heavy coverage so it's great for those with less than perfect complexions and want to cover those problem areas. I liked this bb cream better than brtc's which actually broke me out. But like any other bb creams, I find the color selection severely lacking and it almost never blend in to my natural skin color. Thus, I only use this to spot treat and cover my dark circles. Despite being a korean product I find this product better suited for those with pink undertones than yellow undertones. The product also leaves a horrible graycast on your skin which supposedly 'adjusts' to your skin color in minutes. For me, it took a while for the product to adjust. Overall, this is not my favorite bb cream so onward with the search!
Toners -Neutrogena - Clear Pore Oil-Controlling Astringent
renyun 12/29/2010 10:16:00 AM
This product KILLED my face...and after so long I am still recovering from its effects. It not only left my face red and blotchy but it also made my acne worse. My skin had horrible reactions to it since the toner practically burned my skin. It's very harsh and I should have given a second thought when I smelled the horrible scent coming from the toner. Severely disappointed that Neutrogena would make such a harsh product and even more disappointed in myself in actually believing that it will work on my skin and sticking to it for a while. Hated it and wished I had never laid eyes on it. Do NOT recommend on sensitive skin...or ANY skin type really. Will never repurchase.
Skincare - Body -Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Unscented
renyun 12/29/2010 10:11:00 AM
This product was very moisturizing and gentle on the hand. It doesn't have a scent which makes me quite content. Some might find that the cream is a little hard to absorb since it is so thick but for me who constantly suffers from dry hands, this is a great product and a heavy consistency's hardly a con when it is so moisturizing. Overall, love it, would recommend to those with dry skin.
No matter how I try to dilute this +use lemon juice as a toner, my skin turns horribly red and sensitive. I would not suggest using this topically on skin for those who have sensitive skin, do a patch test, if you are not sure. Despite its benefits, my skin just cannot tolerate lemon juice...too bad.
Cleansers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Cleansing Pads
renyun 12/19/2010 10:22:00 PM
For 28 pads at about ~$8-$9 (after tax), I thought these were pretty expensive pads. It works like any other pads I've used before. I did not see any my skin get any more radiant but after use, I find my skin more dry and tightened which could be a large con for those with more dry complexions. Overall, the product was okay but personally for me not worth the price. I will not be repurchasing.
Leaves my lips well moisturized and the smell of cookie dough is just a plus. It's pretty cheap but as a lip gloos, I find it too thick for my tastes.
I'm satisfied with this product. Unlike the burts and bees lip balm which leaves a waxy film on my lips leaving me feeling uncomfortable, this is quite moisturizing and does not have a waxy feeling. Also, there's no strange smell that Carmex seems to have. With a spf of 15 to protect my lips, I'm content but the product overall is so-so.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - foundation semi-matte formula
renyun 11/5/2010 2:27:00 AM
Having tried many so many foundation bases, I finally decided to try EM. This is probably the most natural foundation I have, it literally covers up most of my blemishes without looking like I have foundation on my face. I love it for its lack of harmful ingredients and the fact that it looks so natural on my skin. I would recommend this to everyone, especially those whose oily t-zone is wayyy out of control. I find that this foundation helps to absorb the "oillies" and keep my face relatively matte throughout the day. The reason I bumped this product down a star is that I find the packaging messy and difficult to use. I also don't like using foundation brushes which is essential for applying this kind of mineral makeup. Overall, I would definitely purchase this again.
