Treatments -Paula's Choice - Blemish Fighting Solution

This is too greasy for my super oily skin. And it kind of smells bad, too. I like Dan Kern's clear skin regimen BP gel much better. It is non greasy and also nonfragranced. But the Paula's choice BP might be better for someone who is just starting a BP regimen because it can really dry out your skin at first.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

I'm on the fence about this one. I'm not really sure if it's doing anything for my skin (either good or bad) yet. It also feels pretty oily on my super oily skin, so I can only wear at night. But then again everything feels oily on my skin during the scorching Texas summer, so maybe during the winter it would be better. I think I might try the gel formulation next and see if it is as oily. EDIT 8/11/08: I gave up using this on my face and instead use Neutrogena Anti-Stress BHA Gel during the day. But I put a spray top on the BHA liquid and started spraying it on my body acne, and it works great for that (and the greasiness is easier for me to tolerate on my body rather than my face)!
Cleansers -Paula's Choice - Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser

I really like this cleanser. It feels like it takes off makeup pretty well (except for waterproof) and gets my skin clean. I alternate between this one and Dan Kern's Clear Skin regimen cleanser.
Didn't really feel like it got my face that clean. Non-irritating and no fragrance, though. I guess I like Dan Kern's Clear Skin Regimen cleanser and Paula's Skin Balancing cleanser better (both of those lather a little).
Skincare - Body -Paula's Choice - Close Comfort Shave Gel

Got some samples of this to try. It has a little too much "drag" for my razor. I prefer Kiss My Face shaving gel because the razor glides more smoothly. EDIT 8/11/08: I tried this stuff again, and it's better than I remembered. I like that it is fragrance free, and it's nice on my sensitive skin.
I keep trying to use this stuff because it really does work the best for sweat. But it makes me break out in a horrible, red, itchy, bumpy rash no matter how sparingly I use it. However, I would recommend trying it because if you are not sensitive to the ingredients, it really does work great.
Cleansers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser (Normal to Oily Skin)

This product is highly scented, which is not great for sensitive skin. The scent is very strong and does not smell pleasant to me at all, a big turn off. I would prefer an unscented product. Also, it doesn't feel like it cleans that well.
Bought this at Sam's Club for about 9 bucks. Very nice for my itchy legs with eczema. Soft, soothing, no fragrance. Great for after shaving.

This thing didn't work at all. Don't waste your money or time.
Conditioner -Paul Mitchell - Extra-Body Daily Rinse

I was looking for a light conditioner for my fine, shoulder length highlighted hair. Most conditioners weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy right away, but this one makes my hair feel weightless and have lots of body and softness. Feels a little weird on my hair in the shower, but it works. I don't really notice much of a smell, but maybe that's just me.
Powder -Neutrogena - mineral sheers mineral powder foundation-fair to light

Can't get the freakin' powder out of the brush. The small amount that did come out didn't do much for me.
Treatments -Neutrogena - On the Spot Acne Treatment Vanishing Formula

This stuff is definitely better than the 5 or 10% BP, but it dries whitish. I like the Clear Skin Regimen BP (www.acne.org) so much better, and you get so much more for your $. It dries clear and has a silker, smoother feel than the Neutrogena does, and you can wear it under makeup. EDIT 1/1/08: Apparently this contains wax which can clog your pores, definitely something I don't need!!
This is my cleanser du jour. It doesn't strip my skin of too much moisture nor aggravate my acne too much. The texture does remind me of liquid hand soap in the bathroom at work, though, with a similar scent, too. But the scent is not unpleasant. I only wish it traveled better. The bottle leaks everywhere no matter what.
I don't think it really does much for my hair color (medium to dark blond with lots of natural and chemical highlights), but it's an okay shampoo. I use it with the conditioner.
Lotions/ Creams -Shi Kai - Borage Dry Skin Therapy hand cream

Great stuff, it soaks right into your hands and doesn't leave much of a residue. I don't really notice much of a scent. If my hands were any dryer, though, I might have to use something thicker. I really like how they don't test on animals or use animal ingredients.
