Highlighters -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Finishing Powder - Brighten [DISCONTINUED]

I've been wanting to get Mac's MSF, but Mac is far away and I haven't been able to make the trip. A few nights ago I was walking around CVS and found all Revlon products BOGO free. I picked this up because it looked so similar to the Mac. After trying it on a few times, I am totally in love with it. The glow is gorgeous and there are no sparkles. One thing I can't tolerate are sparkles! This is a cool highliter so I wouldn't put it on warm skin, but since I have pink undertones, it works well for me. I would recommend this for people with fair, cool or neutral tone skin.

Conditioner -Nexxus - Dualiste - Color Protection + Volume

This conditioner is amazing. My hair became very silky after using this. I have never felt my hair so incredibly soft before. It's shiny and touchable, and smells great. This product is very easy to spread into hair, it rinses well, and it makes my hair smell great. I love love love how it makes my hair soooo soft.

Shampoo -Nexxus - Dualiste - Color Protection + Volume

I'm not sure if this gives much volume, but nothing ever does that for my hair. This shampoo smells great, lathers well, and the dispenser is awesome. It's a pleasure to use and it does not make my hair tangle. It rinses well too.

Masks -Mario Badescu - silver powder

The only thing I dislike about this product is that it's very difficult to remove. I love what the result are though! First I apply this to my entire face and leave it on for 15 minutes. I then rub off as much as possible and use a gel toner to remove the rest. After toning, I take two cotton pads and gently extract all the blackheads on my nose. They come out so easily that I barely have to squeeze. Once all of the blackheads are gone, I apply the silver powder to the extracted areas again. I leave on for 15 more minutes and remove. I follow with a toner and moisturizer. My nose is completely blackhead free and that is amazing as I have always had a lot of blackheads on my nose. It's not an easy to use product, but it works well if you're willing to put in the time.

Treatments (Eye) -Olay - Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller

I got this on sale for $18. The product makes me eye area look soft and bright, but I do not have dark circles to really see any results. I probably wouldn't continue to use this around my eyes as it's nothing special. I did however find this to be really good around my lips. The applicator is awesome for that and I think I will devote this item to the lip area only.

Powder -Prescriptives - All Skins Mineral Foundation spf 15

Would I buy this again? Yes, and I will. I have tried BE, Mac, Philosophy, various drugstore brands, and this is the first time I am truly happy. This powder does not make the skin look shiny like BE does. This product goes on so easily and blends flawlessly. I can use so much less product with this, I guess a little goes a long way! BE is a joke compared to this product. I don't have the round buff brush but will buy that next. The brush applies the powder perfectly without using too much product. The brush is also rather large and application takes no more than 45 seconds. I am so happy!

Scrubs -Prescriptives - Instant Gratification Skin Renewal Peel

Having used every exfoliating product under the sun I can say that this product is amazing. After washing my face I applied a thin layer to wet skin and massaged in. Then I applied a bit more to cover the whole face and neck and let it dry for about 5 minutes. Once it was dry I wet my hand and massaged my whole face for about 1 minute. I rinsed this thoroughly and applied the line prevention serum. The results are fantastic! My skin is very soft and smooth and ALL of the blackheads on my nose disappeared. Whatever is in this product simply dissolved all of the impurities. This is not the first time I've used this kind of product. I have used about five different warming scrubs, including Philosophy, Olay, Estee Lauder, and a couple others. This was the best so far! The Philosophy and Olay ones are a complete mess to use and are very harsh. Estee Lauder's Micro-D is almost the same as this product, but maybe a tad more irritating to the skin. Another similar product I used was Clinique Turnaround scrub, which is applied after cleansing, dries like a mask and then massaged to exfoliate. Same concept, but Clinique's product is nowhere near as effective. My skin looks and feels amazing after using this product. I am so happy I decided to try it, I will repurchase for sure!

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Ultra Liner Waterproof

I have this in a dark brown shade. Yes, I have experienced peeling too, but only after sleeping with my makeup on. This liner is the easiest liner I have ever used. The brush is perfect, makes a very even line. I've been using this every day for a few days and I couldn't be happier. It works best on the lid, not so well on the lower lash line.

Tinted Moisturizer -Smashbox - Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

This doesn't provide a lot of coverage, but it makes the face look so beautiful. Perfect for skin that needs very little correction. I have some redness in the cheeks and a couple of acne scars and this does okay to even out my skin tone. It doesn't cover the redness but makes it look less harsh. The skin glows beautifully when using this. Perfect for the evening. I will repurchase!

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush

I've spent $30 on brushes that did not perform as well as this $1 brush does. It holds the shadow well and applies it beautifully. The brush is too short in my opinion, but that doesn't affect it's performance. For $1, it's an amazing brush. I'm going to get at least three more of these when I get a chance. They are great and it would be nice to have a few basic brushes to use for different colors.

Packaging is bulky but not bad looking. This shadow is pretty inexpensive at only $10. It blends beautifully, has great pigment, and looks fantastic layered over a dark color. Creates a metallic look.

Masks -Clinique - Turnaround Instant Facial

This product is a mask and scrub in one. I love it! Directions say to use two to three times per week. You apply a layer to the face and leave on for five minutes. You then add a little bit warm water and massage. The mask contains small granules that do an excellent job exfoliating. Skin feels very smooth after rinsing this off. At 2.5oz for $36.50, the price might seem high for a Clinique product, but it's really worth the money. This mask is really effective in smoothing the skin. I recommend this to people who like stronger scrubs or as a weekly treatment. The granules in this mask are very fine and feel like crystals, not for everyday use!

Misc Beauty Tools -Sonia Kashuk - Blending Sponge

I drove to three Target stores in search of this sponge and I am so glad I did. This a miracle for me! I run this sponge under warm water and then squeeze out all of the water, leaving it just a little damp. I squeeze a bit of foundation on the top of my hand then gently roll the sponge into it. I apply the foundation by pressing the sponge onto my face all over. I don't apply too much pressure. This makes my foundation look flawless. They key is not using too much and making sure the sponge is damn. When I want more coverage, I apply the foundation, then wait a minute for it to dry and apply more. None of my foundation brushes work nearly as well.

Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

I LOVE the Clarisonic! I first got this brush about two years ago and then when the pink one came out, got that one too. I use it almost daily. It is incredible at cleansing the skin. I never get bored of using this. My pores stay small and my skin is really clean. I use it for the full two minutes, which makes all the difference. I also make sure to always get my neck, which needs as much care as the face. I would always repurchase, for as long as they make them. I will say one thing, this is not that good at deep exfoliation. It exfoliates a little, but not as well as a really good scrub. Dermanew is better at exfoliating. A lot of specialists say that a cleanser doesn't need to have great ingredients since it only stays on the skin for a few seconds, but since using the clarisonic for two minutes each evening, I switched to a good cleanser. I especially like using glycolic cleansers with this brush.
