This was a huge disappointment! I wanted to love it, and I love clean fragrances, but this stuff smells literally like SOAP. I mean basic, generic soap. I think Ivory actually smells better. Not what I was expecting at all, so I'm going to return it. Too bad. This is my first Philosophy fragrance, too, and now I'm kind of leery to try another.....

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna

This is my HG bronzer. I've been using it for about 3 months now and I couldn't be happier that I made the decision to buy this thanks to the reviews here on MUA. I'm a PPP and the color always looks natural...not orange or muddy. It's buildable as well without looking dirty like some bronzers can. I use it every single day and I haven't even made a dent in the compact, so I'm sure it will last a long time. It is expensive, but the drugstore bronzers just don't work for me and I've wasted too much money on bronzers that went in the trash or sat in the drawer. I love it and it is very deserving of the high rating it's gotten.

Lotions/ Creams -Victoria's Secret - Pure Seduction

A co-worker brought the hand cream in recently so I could try it and I absolutely loved it!!! I tried Dream Angels Heavenly and HATED it, so I was a little hesitant to try another one of VS's scents, but this is so very different, very light and fruity. Yummy! I just had to go out and buy some for myself because I couldn't get that smell out of my head. Fruity scents aren't for everyone, but I personally adore them. EDIT: I have really begun to smell that plasticky smell the more I've used this lotion. I rarely wear it anymore. Who likes the smell of plastic fruit?

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipgloss - Nude Lustre

This lipgloss is awesome!! I purchased after reading the great reviews on MUA and so glad I did! It is the perfect natural color, does not feel too sticky like some lipglosses and it's affordable. What could be better?!? I wear it every day in the summer.

I've only tried this product twice, but it made me break out quite badly. Odd, because I use the 10% cream with no problems. I don't know if I believe in the whole "purging" thing. I don't have acne prone skin and I got pimples in places I have NEVER had pimples before...weird. I do have sensitive skin, so maybe it's just a little too strong for me. In general, I love the AH products. They are a great value for the quality. I'm going to try one more time and see if I have any better luck.

Fragrances -Davidoff - Cool Water for Women

I absolutely LOVE Cool Water!!! It is one of my faves of all times. It doesn't last all that long, but I love it so much that I don't care! The scent just makes me feel happy when I wear it and I never seem to get tired of it.

I really liked this, but it's not perfect. It dries quickly, maybe too quickly, but I hate that sticky feeling that some ST's seem to leave on your skin forever, so I don't mind that. The color is really nice, but I had trouble building it beyond a certain point. It started to get streaky and splotchy after a few applications, but looked great up to that point. Smell was average like most others and it gave pretty believable color for the first two or three applications. I would probably purchase again, but I'm still in search of my HG self tanner.

I recently purchased this before going on vacation and was very disappointed in how long it took the color to develop. I'm quite fair, but needed to reapply several times to get ANY color. I actually had to go pick up a bottle of L'oreal to give me quicker color. This product is way too expensive considering how much you need and how many applications are necessary to get a decent color. The smell is not bad at all, no streaking and it dries fairly quickly, but way too pricey IMO. May be ok for extremely fair people who don't need much color.

This was a disappointment to me. I had expected so much more. Afer spraying a small amount on my arm, I sniffed and realized I had smelled that smell in a thousand different places, but NOT in a good way due to too many women overusing this stuff. It is very strong...too strong IMO and reminds me of baby powder, but more annoying. I had to wash this off after about ten minutes as it was giving me a terrible headache.

I just love Blue!! As others have said, it's not something you'd wear for a night on the town, but a great everyday scent. A very fresh, clean fragrance that is great for spring and summer. I live in a warm climate, so I use it all year. :-)

I did not like this at all. I agree with the person that said it smelled like a car air freshener. NOT what I was expecting and disappointing to say the least as I love coconut scents.

Moisturizers -Alpha Hydrox - 10% Enhanced Cream

I've only been using this for about two weeks, alternating with a retinol cream and WOW, my skin looks fantastic for the first time in years. I'm 48 and was really unhappy with how my skin was looking and decided I needed to change my routine. I'm so glad I did! I had no problems with burning or purging and my skin can be sensitive. My pores are much smaller, skin looks more even and less ruddy. My face actually glows for the first time in years. I've just purchased the 12% souffle to alternate with this. This was not available locally, so I got mine on drugstore.com. Packaging is nothing fancy, but who cares if it works, and it does! Price is dirt cheap for what it does.

I've been using now for six weeks and my skin looks awesome. I've just added an aha and my skin looks literally ten years younger! Be warned that this is pretty strong stuff, so if you're skin is sensitive, start slowly or use the 2x. I started every other night and the first time I used it two consecutive nights it burned my skin, so I stopped for a few days. I can now use it nightly with no problems, although I alternate with an aha now with excellent results. Highly recommended.

I got a sample of this today and was so eager to try it after reading all the great reviews, but alas it is waaaay too sweet for my tastes. It is really almost sickeningly sweet. May be ok for very young girls, but I'm 40ish and it just doesn't work for me at all. EDIT: I revisited this recently and actually came to like it a little more. It is almost comforting in a way. Maybe I just have to be in a certain mood to wear it! Not an everyday fragrance by any means though.

Fragrances -Dolce & Gabbana - Light Blue

I wanted to like this so badly, but sadly it just doesn't work with my chemistry AT ALL. It smells sharp and too musky...almost a musty smell...ewww. Fortunately, I only purchased a sample size because it is on the pricey side.
