I live in Canada and some days it can get -20, my dehydrated normal winter skin (in summer it is combo oily) has been overly dehydrated. I received a sample of this and I love it. It has only been a week, but so far so good. It soaks in really well and my skin feels smooth, soft and makeup goes on lovely.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I went to Sephora to purchase an everyday foundation. The SA recommended this one as I have troubles matching and the 117 is the best match to my fair and yellow-undertoned skin. I didn't try it all over my face, shame on me. I have since used it and unfortutnately, I do not dig it. I will only wear this when my skin is having a good day. If you have any flakiness, forget it. It does dry to a matte-type finish. Whilst, I am a little frustrated with it, the colour match is perfect *update* I actually have to take back my rating. I worked with it a little and used much less product. It looks flawless, no dewiness nor matte effect. Simply skin.

Powder -Lancome - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

I wanted a powder foundation to give me that porcelain doll look. This is a foundation that many of my clients love. So I decided to give it a try. The scent is very strong and it reminds me of my late grandmother ( a good thing) . I have it in Linen and it's a great match.

This piqued my interest for quite a while. I finally gave in and bought it in #1. The colour that came out of the tube was really, really peachy. I am fair with warm tones in my skin so I was apprehensive. It feels lightweight and doesn't really cover much. I think there are a few different silicones as the texture feels as if there are. It is an okay foundation and it keeps my skin matte *Update* Honestly, I really do not like this foundation. the amount of silicone is insane and I did not like the colour. Not worth the expense

Eye Shadow -NARS - Grenadines

This is a lovely colour to bring out the green in my eyes. It blends well and does not make me look sick or tired. I have fair skin with dark hair and thought it might be too dramatic for me, but it's gorgeous. I have also used it wet to intesify the colour. It isn't for everyone, but if you want a bordeaux/wearable red, this is definitely a good choice.

What can I say about a lipgloss/lipstick that isn't sticky??! Just fantastic. I haven't been buying much from MAC lately as the quality has not been there, but these are so wonderful. I had to buy two of them, the other is So Vain. Lovely

Foundations -Burberry - Sheer Foundation

While the price is steep, the result is beautiful. The colours are limited. I am a NC 15 and I was matched with a #2 !? It has THE most pink. The blendability and the coverage are lovely. The scent is strong at first, but not unpleasant. This will not linger long. To put it on, I suggest using your fingers and put it on as you would a moisturizer. The result is healthy, glowing skin. Too bad I bought the wrong colour and can't return it.

This is a great colour and the pigment pay off is marvelous. I wouldn't repurchase just for the fact it will last me a long time and I really won't wear it all the time. The deluxe shadows are one of the best textures out there.

At first I thought the gold flecks and the bright pink would have been too much for my NC15 skin. But hells no! This makes me looked flushed and oh so pretty. The gold doesn't really leave much in the way of flecks and the pink truly makes me look healthy, even in the dead of winter.

This foundation makes my skin look alive and healthy. I am generally very hard to match as my skin is a yellow undertone but very fair- NC15. I match to Nude 0.5 intensity. I love the coverage and the dewiness it gives me. I can get oily, but this doesn't make me a slick. I also use my fingers to give me the most natural look.

Gorgeous for those girls who want to bring out the green in their eyes and anyone can wear this. Incredible for blending and giving some drama to the eye. Love the texture and love the metallic. Pleasantly surprised

I adore the aqua creams. I have this one and the plummy coloured one. They blend easily and the texture and pigment is gorgeous. If you are looking for a beautiful gold cream eyeshadow, look no further. Do one eye at a time as these puppies dry quickly.

The colour must be different in Canada, as it is a shimmery lilac coloured shadow. The only colour that is similar is from Makeup Forever. It goes on smoothly with flecks of shimmer. It is sheer and looks beautiful over a black base. It blends beautifully and I would definitely repurchase. I just wish it was less expensive

I have to admit I am a foundation junkie, so of course I had to try and buy this foundation. While it is a nice foundation, it is not worth the price tag. I was matched to 4, generally NC/NW 15/20.
