These towlettes are gentle all right, so much so that they really don't do a good job of removing makeup. Too bad, because they'd otherwise be very convenient.
Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil - brown

I was so ready to love this liner. The point is so soft (normally a good thing!) that it broke twice before I could even use it, and then when I applied under my eye I got an immediate itching reaction. Back it went.
I have been taking good care of my skin for a long time, so when I try new products or change my rotation I rarely see much of a difference. Not so with my Clarisonic--I see that my skin is more radiant and feels more toned when I use it nightly, and I will continue to do that! I remove any MU first, then brush for a minute with more cleanser using the sensitive brush. The only downside is that it's not all that portable. My main issue is aging skin--no oilies, no acne. UPDATE: I recently bought a Mia2 (the one that comes with the case) for travel, and if I had it to do all over, that's the one I'd get, even without the convenience of the Classic's charging cradle (it dries faster in the cradle, IME).
I am FFF neutral/cool with some ruddiness and this is a perfect color match for me, at least now in the winter when I've been out of the sun. During winter I typically used LM Nude as my TM, but Kiehl's Light actually has a nicer finish and more staying power at less than half the price. Official new HG. It smoothes out my uneven skin tone and has a velvet (not matte, not glowy) finish.
Yet another eye cream meant for day use that balls up and flakes under concealer. I'll use at night, won't buy again, and continue to wonder if any products with active ingredients will let me put concealer over them.
Moisturizers -Peter Thomas Roth - Un-Wrinkle Day SPF 20

This product gets top marks. It has a wonderful texture and goes on smoothly. It's got SPF 20 and several anti-oxidants, all the stuff I want for a daytime product. Makeup goes on nicely on top. And it's got a pump, which controls the amount and keeps out any germs that might be on my fingers. No icky smell. The only issue is price, and I try to stock up when Ulta has their 20% off sales. Updated 1/14/13--Discontinued. Sigh.
This cleanser is fine as long as you don't get it in your eyes. It REALLY STINGS! For me, that's why I won't buy again, even though it is gentle on my skin and foams and rinses nicely.
Treatments (Eye) -DDF - Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate

This is a really nice, smoothing eye cream. Heads up, though, that you can only use at night--concealer and makeup pill up and flake when applied over it.
This is the most perfect foundation I have ever used. I can't even begin to describe its gorgeous texture--neither glowy nor matte, maybe a little of each and just perfect. I get good fast medium coverage by just using my fingers and then evening it out with a brush. I tried applying with a BB sponge, and way too much product wound up in the sponge instead of on my face. Coverage is excellent. I can't see pores anymore, even in a magnifying mirror. Staying power blows me away--all day with no need for any kind of setting powder or touchup later. My skin is normal/dry. Former HGs were Armani and Laura Mercier, but this is measurably better.
This is a very pretty sheer deep dusty pink color with ZERO staying power. You can buy a very similar color with a bit more shine from Clinique (Pink Toffee) or Ulta (Sheer Pout) for a LOT less.
Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Metallic Lip Color Baby Peach

Just got this. At first, it appears to be so soft and light that it does nothing. But outside in natural daylight it's gorgeous. It's shiny and moist and a very pretty color (and I'm neutral/cool so that's saying a lot for a peach). I've had other BB l/s break like the previous reviewer and am not happy that I can expect that again. But the color and texture are lovely.
Treatments -Vichy - Liftactiv Retinol HA Nuit/Night

UPDATED--I am NEVER again going to buy a product from Vichy. They don't come with directions (except for how to get the product out of the container) and none are provided on their web site. To get them, you have to send an email, which I think is a bit much. So, I bought this (my second and last Vichy buy) because I've been looking for a good retinol product to use at night, it was mentioned in a magazine and I had a coupon from CVS. I have NO idea whether it's a serum or a moisturizer--it's way too light for a night moisturizer, but it doesn't absorb like a serum. So this means I have to apply a moisturizer on top to keep from waking up with dry skin, but not right away (or even within an hour) because it doesn't absorb. This is not a user-friendly product, and that's a big criterion for me. If they can't bother to provide directions or even say what the product is for, how much can they possibly be devoting to its performance? They say you see a difference the next morning, which of course you don't, but I'll keep playing with it in combination with a moisturizer and see what happens. Its packing is very good and its price is reasonable. But what is it and how do I use it????
What a disappointment. Thought this would be a slightly less thick Lash Blast, but it's a big nothing. Wouldn't buy again and am sorry I did--waste of money.
What a great product. It's a day cream and a night cream and is neither too heavy nor too light. So a single moisturizer for both day and night, and packaging in a small tube, makes it a must for travel. Also, I really like products that come in a tube that sits on it's top, because you always get product when you squeeze and there's very little waste. No mystery why 100% would buy again--I already have. As for does it do anything miraculous, I don't think there is a topical product that will undo wrinkles or sags. All we can do is prevent more.
Cleansers -Shu Uemura - Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O

Great product. After years and years of never being able to get quite all my m/u off (especially eye m/u) without lots of scrubbing and leaving mascara on my towel and washcloth, what a relief to discover there's a product that really does it. Effortless removal with no irritation to my sensitive eyes and no oily residue remaining. My skin is normal/dry.
