I have this brush and the mac 187. unfortunately i bought the 187 first! i love this brush and i think its better than the 187. seriously whether you're on a budget or not, get this brush. 13 dollars is great. this review is in reference of using this brush for foundation
Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium

So I have never been a powder foundation user. Ever. But I was at the CCO and i saw this for $17.50 USD and I remembered all the rave reviews so I thought to myself if I were to ever try this product I might as well buy it for this cheap price. That day I also bought the 183 brush at the CCO for $28 USD to use with the MSF/Natural. I was so excited to try it. I swirled the 183 brush into the product and then swirled it onto my face...nothing. No color, no coverage, it was as if the powder dissappeared on my face. So I tried it with a fluffy face brush. Nothing. Then I figured out that with the 183 if I tap the product onto my face instead it gives light medium or full coverage, depending on what I wanted. Although I am still a liquid foundation user, this is great on the days were I am just going to do errands and don't feel like applying liquid. Although, if it weren't for the 183 the product as a foundation would be pretty useless to me. Can also be a nice setting powder. I am an NW20-25 and medium is a pretty good match.

I was very hesitant with this brush. I bought it mainly for liquid foundation. I saw it being used loads of times on youtube and i just could not understand how this brush that looks and feels flimsy can do such an "amazing" job that others claimed. I felt like it would streak and not reach all the places i needed it to.... ARE YOU SERIOUS?! this brush is amazing! i eventually broke down and bought it and i love it so much. I use this everyday for foundation. I know some people use the 109 for foundation but it takes so long i can't be bothered with that in the morning. so airbrushed look + in a quick time = the perfect brush for me and im sure alot of you out there. If you are hesitant about this brush i would really suggest getting it. however, so bronzer and blushes i dont really see it being that good. i get dots of blush and when i blend it is goes all over my cheek. for me this is strickly for my liquid foundation.
I am one of those people that when they hear the hype, they give in and love it. I gave into buying Laguna. And sadly, I was sort of dissappointed. I mean, it's okay, but I think my UD bronzer in Gilded is better. Gilded is a more orange tones but it does not make you look orange. Laguna is brown and i feel like i look dirty, and i need to use very precise application so that it looks okay. I do not reach for this often and it was my first nars purchase. i would not buy again
I guess i'm in the minority. Packaging: Okay, the packing sucks more than anything. it's so bad. its a twist cap and if you use a brush like the mac 190, 109, 187 this can go everywhere when you're tipping it. if you use a sponge then it's alright. Product: This stuff has that strong smell that's supposed to be the "clean" smell. i personally don't mind it but i could see how it can bother people. The color selection is, to me, by far, the best drugstore has. Whenever I'm buying a new foundation I compare the color to my clean makeup color. Coverage: I would say it is medium coverage. not too buildable but very blendable. Staying power: and this is the downfall of this product. This runs and if you have dry patches like me, it sticks to your dry patches then fades everywhere else, which is horrible. Finish: i have dry skin so this does not look oily on me. I put this on, and at the end i pat my face with a sponge or towel take take off the excess and it gives a nice dewey/slightly matte finish. i personally like it. I overall like this product and continue to buy, however, i don't wear it alone. I mix this with a tiny drop of revlon colorstay because it has great staying power, and it looks, feels, and stays on forever. i would recommend using it this way.

okay so this is NOT for NW ladies. This is great for NC's looking for light coverage. just like another reviewer, a friend of mine said to me i looked tan, and i had bought the lightest shade. i usually never break out and i think this maybe me get those little bumps on my face. overall, there is only 6 shades of this foundation and if your an NW just skip this.
this is an overall okay product. if too much is put, it can look very cakey. i would not suggest using concealer under with, it will look veryyyyyy cakey. this is why i believe the best way to apply this is with a damp foundation brush (the flat kind) or a damp applicator wedge. this shoul really be used if your just looking for a light coverage to even out skin tone. if your looking for a thick foundation, this can be think but it will look so cakey and terrible. it does last throughout the day. would probably buy again
Ahh! i love this blush. i'm NW20-25 and it looks great. i went to my local cvs and this was the last luminous, and i quickly picked it up and am in LOVE. looks so great and i believe it's pretty pigmented. EDIT 5/7/09: this fades VERY quickly...hmmm
This is a great brush. I've never realized how much unnecessary concealer I would use when applying with fingers. It's really amazing, just one swipe of this brush and it can cover like half a cheek, not that I'd ever need to cover half a cheek, which is exactly my point! It's really good and a brush all you ladies should consider owning. Never shed a bristle. I would repurchase if necessary.
I was looking for a lipglass to put over myth for the nude look. Looked through a few, including c-thru. I chose florabundance. In the tube, it looks very pink. One the lips, it looks milky. I eventually got c-thru and i could not even tell the different between c-thru and florabundance. i did half my lip with florabundance and half with c-thru. no noticable difference, which sucks because I wanted this when I wanted the pink nude and c-thru when i wanted the beige nude. If you're looking for a pink nude, this is not the color.
I like this lipglass. It's nice, and nice over Myth. Overall, good product.
Don't even think about using this without a lip balm under or something of the sort! This color works well on cool skin tones and warm skin tones alike. However, there is a trick to using this color. First, apply a lip primer/balm/conditioner or whatever you prefer. Then do your whole makeup routine. By the end, your lips will have absorbed the moisture. Now, lightly DAB this on. DO NOT swipe it across or else you will look like you just walked out of a morgue. DAB (I can't emphasize that enough) it on and build the color up to your liking. It can work for you, it is a versatile color for the most part. Don't try to apply the lipstick right after the lip prep/balm/conditioner or else it will slide right off. You need to give it time. Good luck on your search for the perfect nude lip =). This can be used on its own, no gloss needed if you do not want it.
I have pretty long lashes already, so most mascaras work well for me. So, instead of wasting money on high end mascara, I use this because it works well. I'm sure its not the best mascara ever, but for me it works, and if I have the time to carefully apply and layer, it works really well. I will continue to buy.
Urgh! I wanted to love this so much. I saw it used on someone and it looked good, so I went out and hesitantly spent $30 dollars on it. Oh my, my face looked so greasy you could probably make french fries on my face! And my face is very dry, and for it to look greasy that takes a lot. This went straight back to Sephora. For reference, I'm an NW20-25 and I bought this in the regular color. Wayyy to dark. Will never buy again. The one thing I did like was the packaging and the smell, other than that? Thumbs down.
Hmm I guess i'm pretty torn. I read the reviews about it giving a milky nude but, honesty if you were this alone without a nude lipstick underneath, it's really not that nude. its pretty sheer. on top of a nude lipstick, it looks good if you're not into the matte finish so much. also, i was lucky to get this cheaper, i wouldnt want to pay $8 for it. it smells nice, is a little sticky but the stickiness makes it last longer. i would buy it again, MAYBE, if it's at a discounted price. and i hate the tubing it's in. would have much perferred an appilcator wand.
