I use this product after washing off facial masks. Pros: Big Bottle Does reduce acne Cons: The smell: like Listerine Stings sometimes- depends on the mask used. I like this product because I feel that it is a good toner for my combo skin. It does remove any remaining mask and gives me a fresh feeling. However, I would NOT recommend it for sensitive skin types because of the stinging sensation. That, to me, is a drawback to repurchasing this toner.
Cleansers -Biore - Steam Activated Cleanser with SteamActiv Beads

Love this product! The steam activated bit is a load of marketing baloney. This is a good cleanser for the shower that provides tons of bubbles. Doesn't overly dry my face or break me out. The smell is energizing and invigorating. Soapbox segue: Biore products are seriously underrated. Their price points may be slightly higher than other comparable drugstore products, but I've never purchased a dud item from them.
Skincare - Body -Nuxe - REVE DE MIEL Bath & Shower Gel
nd1282 4/8/2011 11:38:00 PM
Tried a sample of this. Pros: Foams up well, isn't overly drying. Cons: The smell! To me it is overly floral, bordering on cloying. I will admit that it is a quality product. That is all.
Lotions/ Creams -Nuxe - Huile Prodigieuse (Multipurpose dry oil)
nd1282 4/8/2011 5:20:00 PM
I love this product! Smells wonderful, absorbs like a dream, and is moisturizing without being greasy. The price point annoys me- $44.00 is quite a bit for 3.3 oz of oil- but it works so well, I can justify it.
Holy incense, Batman! Got a sample of this from Sephora. Very spicy smelling on my skin. I would describe it as a dab of anise plus a dash of musk, overlaid with a powdery sweetness, if that makes sense. Not a bad smell, per se. Just not my cup of tea...I find it a bit heavy. Gave me a slight headache after two sprays ; it's concentrated stuff.
Love this scent! Smells like a day at the beach- sea and sand and sunscreen. Less sweeter then L- which is not necessarily a bad thing- but it does have sweetness to it which is not at all cloying in warm weather. Beautifully evocative and expertly designed. The bottle is also gorgeous.
Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - Forbidden Flower/Fleur Defendue

On the prowl for a summer scent, I sampled this scent recently. Was not impressed. Very light and powdery... like there is a thin quality to it, as if it is not concentrated enough. It's a shame, as I'd love to own the bottle; it's an exquisite tiny golden-green apple. Oh well, the search continues....
Smells good but it is very drying and not at all hydrating for my thick and wavy hair. I am a sucker for citrus scented products so I picked up this with the matching conditioner BOGOF. It too smells good but lacks moisturizing qualities. Would be very annoyed if I had paid full price for it.
What a waste of money! Luckily, I did not pay full price ($28) for this, or I would be angrier than I am at the moment. These shades look beautiful in the pan, but go on sheer silvery-white with a *hint* of what the color should be. The powder is finely milled but chalky, and is impossible to build up. It flakes all over, and lasts for 15 minutes on my eyes before fading away. An incredible ripoff, ladies stay away!
Although I returned this item, I would still state that this is a great palette- the same high quality LORAC makeup in bulk. Sixteen eyeshadows, four blushes, and three lipglosses in a stylish and portable case. The only reason that I returned this is that I own four LORAC palettes of neutral (shimmery) eyeshadows, and a few of them show up in this palette. Not necessarily a negative, but I ordered it thinking that I would add different eyeshadows to my collection, not duplicates. In addition, only two of the sixteen eyeshadows were matte. This personally annoyed me, as I thought that there would be more variety of eyeshadow styles. Shimmery eyeshadows are fine and dandy, but mattes (IMHO) as more work appropriate. The eyeshadows are evenly divided between neutral browns and various colors (purple, pink, navy, white, aqua, maroon, silver, matte black). I found some of the colors to be too cool toned on my CCC skin. If you don't own too much LORAC (like me!) and and can wear cool tones, I would heartily recommend picking up this limited addition palette at Sephora. At $56, it's a steal!
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche - Star Secrets - Millas Plum
nd1282 2/25/2008 7:05:00 PM
Lovely muted plum with pink undertones on my pigmented lips. Good color for all the CCC's out there. Creamy and long-lasting, but overly perfumed. Very nice product.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Star Secrets - Penelopes Red - 320

Absolutely gorgeous! Very flattering on this CCC. Intense red that can be applied sheerly or built up for more color. Moisturizing and lasted a decent amount of time.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colur Riche Star Secrets - 706 Champagne Laetitia
nd1282 2/25/2008 7:00:00 PM
Love this lipstick! Gives a nice golden sheen to my pigmented lips w/o looking too gaudy. Overly perfumed (like all L'oreal products) and also moisturizing, if not that long-lasting.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Star Secret Aishwarya Beige
nd1282 2/25/2008 6:58:00 PM
Overall, very nice. Gives my pigmented lips a polished, YLBB look. Moisturizing but not particularly long-lasting, which is fine by me as I'm a little OCD about applying lip products.
Palettes -Stila - Fall Fantasy 2007 in Laguna agate
nd1282 9/16/2007 7:54:00 AM
Overall, very nice. Ignoring the ridiculous packaging (which is already collecting dust) and the tacky agate necklace included, this palette is of high quality, even if the amount provided seems to be much less then previous years' offerings. A welcome departure from the standard greens of fall and browns of year round, this offers a smoky blue eye look which will transition well from fall into winter. The eyeshadows are silver, bluish grey, and a dark teal, with a deep rose blush which compliments the eyes very well. All are very pigmented, through I, like other reviewers, found the two blue shades harder to blend than usual. It's good to see new shades from Stila. I believe that this would be great for those MAers that collect the line.
