Ladies and Gents of MUA, you saved my hands by your recommendations! I have very sensitive skin to start with, but a years' worth of chemo and biologic drugs has left my skin sore, tender and irritated. I've spent a small fortune trying to find products to use, and this is HG! No irritation at all and it actually feels soothing to my skin when wash my hands. Too bad they discontinued the body wash, I've yet to find any I can use.

I've tried everything BP, Retin A, BCP, peels, microdermabrasion-you name it. I thought nothing would help get rid of my hormonal jawline/neck acne. On top of that, I have bacne, too, caused by prednisone...I mention this because I'm sure there's alot of MUA'rs out there suffering with the same thing. Well, the hunt is over- I LOVE this product! It really is effective and works quickly, and because my skin is used to products it was actually soothing-zero irritation. HG status!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

So I bought this because I was having a hard time finding my HG powder, Maybelline Shine Free in Ivory. Very, very few DS powders work on my NW 15 ppp skin. This seemed to be the next lightest choice, but was I wrong! This powder might work for ladies and gents that only use powder, but don't even think about using it over foundation! In the lovely humid 80+ weather here in Los Angeles it immediately oxidized to that wonderful fake bake orange color on me, and with my oily slick skin it caked terribly. SO gross-I had to go home, wash it off and start over. The hunt for decent drug store powder continues....

OMG love this! First of all, let me give you a run-down of my skin: the worst oily sensitive skin and every primer I've used causes huge cystic acne. But with summer here in Los Angeles I am desperate for something that can help my Estee Lauder Double Wear stay on. First challenge: I tried this with the EW DW, and AMAZING!!! Lasted 12+ hours in 80 heat and humidity, no problem. Second Challenge: Night out with hubby and guy friends who don't weant to stop every hour so I can fix mu face lol. I had a particularly long Friday night, and this survived (with NO RETOUCH) the humid hot bar/resteraunt we went to, as well as a hilarious movie, then coffee-didn't get home til 2 a.m. I fell asleep with makeup on, woke up at 9 a.m. Saturday AND IT WAS STILL PERFECT!!!! I'm in LOVE!!!!

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL Pro Volume Waterproof

HG status! I have tried several 2 step mascaras (white base coat, followed by black mascara) and none of them have worked as well. The original XXL doesn't even compare to this-with both coats, my lashes were both extremely lengthened and also provided great volume. I also tried it with just the top mascara coat and there wasn't as much volume but it still gave me incredible length! I like the fact that this mascara gives you the option to wear it either full on glamorous or more natural lengthening-LOVES IT!

Conditioner -SAMY - Jooouge Fun Fiber Conditioner

This conditioner is fantastic! It smells divine and works great-conditions my fine hair really well without weighing it down. It doesn't build up, either. I wish these products came in bigger sizes, I've taken to rationing mine for special occasions, and I would use it much more frequently.

Shampoo -SAMY - Jooouge Fun Fiber Shampoo

This is a really great shampoo! First of all, the smell is heavenly, like tropical fruit. It contains no SLS which is a huge plus for me, and it adds enough body and texture that it makes styling my hair so much easier. I've even been able to cut out some products just using this shampoo/conditioner combo. Love it!

EEEK! I bought this going by the reviews here and I don't know what happens with my chemistry but it's unbearable. It just gets stronger and stronger on me, so much so thatI had to wash it off within 30 minutes. Cute bottle, though, I like how it looks on my vanity.

Sunscreen -Aveeno - Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion Face SPF 70

So I went to San Diego and it being in the middle of winter I didn't pack sunblock. No WI/FI so I couldn't check the reviews before grabbing this sunblock at CVS. It went on O.K. but applying mineral makeup over the top turned into a huge mess, even though I waited about 20 minutes before application. It made me oily almost immediately and then promptly broke my face and neck out, undoing months of trying to get it clear. I also think it's expensive for a drugstore sunblock, made more expensive by causing a major breakout that requires a trip to the Derm! Run for your lives from this one ladies.

I totally agree with the reviewer who said this causes red bumps on the jawline. I used this for a week and had to go to the derm to staighten my skin out! Also, not so great for my PP skin- I looked yellow with the Translucent color. In the trash it goes-I'm sticking to Everyday Minerals.

HG! How do I love thee Noxema? I use this for everything-really soothes irritated skin from Retin A and chemical peels. Calms irritated skin from razor burn-I even shave with it. Prevents bikini bumps from hair removal, cools sunburns, my fave thing ever!

I hated this foundation so much! It accentuated my pores and wash really greasy. Also the color selection is nothing like the creme version of this foundation, which I like. It is really pinky-beige and unnatural-definately won't repurchase!

Luv it! It has totally helped clear up my face and back, also really great for KP on my arms. I've been using it for a month now and my skin has never looked this good since I hit my teens!

Concealers -Maybelline - Superstay

I LOVE this concealer-total HG status! Works great for extra coverage before applying EM foundation-it is virtually undetectable. I love the color selection,too.-and YEAH! no breakouts for me, either.The applicator isn't the greatest-I think most of the problems the other reviewers mentioned can be fixed by using a quality concealer brush. Just dab the area you want concealed with the applicator and then blend with the brush. Lasts all day,too-my favorite ever!
