Foundations -Palladio - Ultra Sheer Herbal Foundation

I have mixed feelings on this foundation. On one hand, this was the first foundation I found to match my skin tone. On the other hand, I end up looking so shiny and greasy in just an hour or two. Definitely not your summer makeup. I might purchase it again during the winter when my skin is dryer. I remember using during senior prom and i had to keep blotting even before arriving to the venue, until I finally used some powder foundation over it (even though I hate caking). The color match is good, and it looks sheer and natural. It evens out your skin tone, but if you want to cover blemishes, you'll need a concealer. Be careful though if you skin is too dry, as it'll emphasize that with unattractive flaking. This foundation, I'd probably use on my good days. I'd still recommend it, but not to people with very oily skin. That said, I'll probably stick to my mineral foundation.

Loose Powders -Palladio - Rice Powder

Well, it does its job. The packaging is adorable and looks great on my counter.Of course you can't travel anywhere with it since your purse would be one hot mess. The finely milled powder feels good on my skin and it keeps me from looking oily. I would probably give it a better rating if it was talc-free. The applicator feels nice on your skin, but I use a brush so I don't look too powdery.

Makeup Brushes -Sheer Cover - Powder Brush

The brush is scratchy, and it sheds. Not the best quality brush out there, but it does get the job done. I'm so glad it came with the intro kit and that I didn't have to pay for it full price. Look for better brushes out there, ladies.

Powder -Sheer Cover - Sheer Cover - Mineral Foundation

I realize the problems some people may have had with ordering Sheercover and realizing that they've automatically become members with autoship. As soon as I got my 30-day intro kit, I read the fine print, and called the company as soon as possible, and just like that, I no longer had any problems with additional shipments. Even though they try to be persuasive over the phone, you just have to be firm and say that you're not interested in being a member. Ladies, always read the fine print. I buy my foundation and concealer from a Proactive kiosk in the mall. I hate ordering cosmetics over the mail or the internet, so I'm glad I found a kiosk to buy Sheercover from. As for the product itself, I must say that I love it. My face gets notoriously oily and I'm prone to breakouts. Liquid foundations make me look greasy. This product looks amazingly natural on me, and coverage is buildable so you can adjust how heavy you want it to be. It evens out my skin tone, which is what foundation is supposed to do. I find that it's better to start from the outside and then start blending in to avoid looking cakey, and a light hand always helps. I will still get shiny midday, but I find that oil-blotters will do the job just fine. And if I really want to control the shine, then I double blot. After applying concealer, I will press some powder lightly with a brush over the areas I've concealed and then blend mineral foundation over it and then lightly swipe powder over it. You have to be careful to do this with a light hand, and only on days when you feel especially oily because it might end up looking cakey and dry. Learn what works best for you. The concealer is good for undereye circles, and it covers most of my post acne marks. The coverage isn't that heavy, but it's buildable. You don't want to pile on the concealer though. I always use an eye cream before putting on the concealer under my eyes. I use the concealer brush and then blend it with my fingers by patting it. With the foundation, it looks pretty flawless on my good days :) The concealer isn't the best out there though, but I like that I can adjust it to my skin tone over the seasons. Using a primer before hand also helps it look smooth, but I only do some days. The fullsize retails about $30 (can't remember exactly), but it does last an incredibly long time if you're not swimming in foundation. It's still pricey for me, since I'm on a budget, but it's good investment makeup for me. It matches my skin tone, looks natural, and has mineral benefits. I would definitely recommend it since it works for me, my sister, and my mother, but to each his own. You have to find what works for you.
