Really like this blush. I have it in a duo that comes with a cream shimmer blush, I hardly use that...but it is actually really beautiful, just not appropriate for me for work. Only thing I can complain about with this blush Is that when I check me face around 1, I feel like I have NO blush on...or I feel like my entire face looks red. So something about this moves on me, it could just be the sweltering heat where I live. I would buy again and would recommend. Smells nice too!
Blush -Lancome - Blush Subtil Shimmer - Shimmer Mocha Havana
misscynthia06 10/7/2012 11:12:00 PM
Looks quite dark in packaging, but a little goes a way and is very flattering. Could use for contouring, bronzer or blush. I like the brush that comes with the Lancome Blush Subtil, nice size, easy to use and gives a polished look, not clownish or crazy. Would buy again but wont need to for a while, even with regular use they two Lancome blushed have lasted me longer than I am willing to say. Worth the price IMo.
Amazing color. I have medium skin, brown eyes, dark hair. Love this under Nars Turkish Delight, or on its own, or under any Juicy Tubes Gloss. The blue/purple undertones are so flattering, teeth look white, blush and eyes pop. Only thing i can pick on is packaging, mine squished a little in the tube, maybe the heat? I used to have Lancome lispticks with magnets in the tops, this made use a breeze, anyway color and formula is fantastic and I will reorder this one when I run out.
Red with a Gold glitter. Not as drying as some other glitter lipsticks, but also not very long lasting. I always have to layer over another color and under gloss. Would prefer a softer formula, but overall love color design.
Lipstick -Lancome - Color Design Glitz and Glam Shimmer
misscynthia06 10/7/2012 10:54:00 PM
The Lancome Color Design lipsticks with shimmer are so uncomfortable for me. I want to love them, this one has a great color!! Looks great layered over a pale or light brown, with a nice clear gloss on top. Can't say I will ever buy again tho because it just is not good feeling for me.
I wanted to love this...the glitter was really uncomfortable to me. Gritty and drying. I don't see many others with this issue. I do like the color, but I have seen others brighter and prettier for less without all the glitter discomfort.
If you want a bright fuscia-pink, this is a great one. I love all Lancome lipsticks because they are really buildable. If you want a bright bold look, two swipes of this with a Juicy Tubes gloss (Moulin Rose) on top will look amazing for hours. I wore this to a brunch yesterday, one teeny swipe, for a just a base of color, followed with Clinique Moisture Surge gloss, lasted all through the event, even with eating, talking, napkins etc. I love that versatility. Avoid if you dont like to experiement with mixing colors and layering (to get less bold look) or if you dont want a bright bold color.
Lipstick -Lancome - Le Rouge Absolu - Beige Cashmere
misscynthia06 10/7/2012 10:36:00 PM
Lovely soft lipstick. Really buildable, and great for layering, I wore this under Nars Orgasm for a fabulous combo....only reason I would not re-buy this color would be it is ever so frosty. I have medium skintone so I think a less white-shimmer would be better. I would buy another Le Rouge Absolu lipstick however, the colors are so soft and really make lips feel better than they did before. No sticky-ness, no glitter or pull, not drying.
The first time I used this...I was amazed. Now that I have been using for over a year....not that impressed. I have the Vissionaire and layer that over the Genifique like the Lancome ppl will tell you to...Then follow with Lancome moisturizer, foundation, power etc. Sometimes you just need to take a step back.....Is this realy necessary?? Serums can be great because they quickly absorb, but ultimately, I really don't see results that wow me. Would i re-buy...probably No, but honestly I do like using this and the Vissionaire before moisturizer, It feels smoother and lines seem smaller. Beware it may break you out if you are prone to that, I would try a sample size for a few MONTHS, not weeks, the results are awesome right away and you may want to buy a lifetime supply, but beware the results fade! Maybe the skin just gets used to it??
I enjoy this product, makes a big difference in how long eyeshadow lasts and how it looks. I am pleased. Not super easy to use...I wind up tugging on my lids, also super fast drying, sometimes I have to do one eye at a time to get them both looking the same. For the price this product has me pleased. Also has completly eliminated any fall back from shadow on my face, huge timesaver. My tip-pply eyeshadow withh finger, not a brush. allows it to really stick to the base, and easier to do a smoky eye or other technique.
Universally flattering, slight shimmer, a little goes a long way, took a lip off because pigments could be stronger and my lunch I look like I have no blush at all or it just kind of all blends into my face for an overall red flush. I live in a very hot area though so it may be that this product just doesnt love heat. Bottom line, a great go to blush , would buy again.
where to start....sigh i wanted to love this but i think it was all hype for me... PROS very smooth, layers nicely over other colors so very versatile, very shiny, looks put together CONS SO overpriced..$24 for a product that lasts 6 months is silly. SMELLS awful, like chemicals and plastics and just awful. If you have dry or chapped lips, or live in a place where the weather EVER effects your lips, avoid this, it looks disgusting on dry lips, like a gross milky sickness. Overall- I would never buy again, although it really does look great over some of my favorite lipsticks, but for me the high price and gross smell just arent worth it.
Generally good as eye creams go. I like the gel texture and light feel, I just don't find it so effective compared to others out there. If you have very sensitive skin or cant do anything too heavy, this is a good idea. I have the pot kind which is easy to use with a finger, and the rollerball kind, which is really easy to use and a nice eye massage in the morning, I would recommend the roller-ball over the pot. Overall good, not great. If you like the "moisture surge" gel moisturizer, then you will enjoy this.
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent
misscynthia06 10/5/2012 7:11:00 PM
Awful, this is no better than water....worse actually because my eyes sting and burn after using, it irritates the entire area and makes it such an ordeal to remove eye makeup. For a product designed for eyes I found this terrible and should not go anywhere near the eye, I have liked Clinique's "Take the Day off" makeup remover, so this formula is just not for me.
Eye Makeup Remover -Lancome - Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Make-up Remover
misscynthia06 10/5/2012 7:08:00 PM
the BEST eye makeup remover out there. I have tried everything and I can had tears from so many out there. This is gentle, easy, no tugging or tearing, my tip...use a round cottan pad, saturate with BiFacial and hold over eye for a few seconds, wipe away and bam, whole day gone, I go under eye to get liner and mascara, I am very very pleased with this product and will buy again. I would appreciate a different way to get it out, maybe a push-down type pump like at nail salons, also if they made this into a wipe for travel/on the go that would make my life easier. WORTH IT, no one looks good with eyes left over from the night before, one eye infection and youll be wishing you had bought this.
