Primer/ Corrector -Laura Geller - Spackle primer/corrector in Bronze
mandiluk 3/4/2013 10:54:00 PM
I really wanted to like this. But Laura Geller, your products leave too much shimmer. I have a bronzer/blush that leaves a lot of shimmer on my face. This is meant to be a primer. It leaves a very light shimmer across my face, when you put on foundation, you hardly notice it. But you will notice it on your hands and on your clothes and makeup if you are like me- I use my hands for applying concealer and foundation. I don't feel that it really smoothes out my face or "primes" meaning that it doesn't feel smooth like that silicone feeling. It is very light, so you hardly know that its on your face and absorbs into my skin well.
Powder -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder - Sandstorm

I think I may buy this over the Maybelline Matte Powder. It's a cheap, light weight, not cake powder and goes on and lasts for a long time. A lot longer than I recall of the Maybelline Matte Powder and it doesn't overwhelm your face with color. Highly recommend you girls & guys to try it!
abosolutely love this liquid foundation. It drys fast, its light, and its the perfect match for my asian skin. It leaves a dewey finish. However, since I have oily skin I have to figure out a regimen to hold this in place. So without primer or naked de-slick, this will melt off my face by noon. edit>>oh no! i think this is what is making me break out recently =(
I really wanted to like this. But it just didn't make a difference to my makeup. I go a small same, maybe a weeks' worth of this from sephora after receiving a tiny sample from sephora when I had placed an order with them. This comes out as a clear gel. Very light and feels very smooth almost like a oil texture. It absorbs into the skin very fast, and since it's clear you won't have streaks or anything. It def helps my foundation go on smoother and makes my face appear flawless, but it doesn't make my foundation stay on for my long days. *inserts sad face
Absolutely love this concealer! This is my first under eye concealer and it is in the perfect shade for my skin. It's def a creamy concealer, I use my ring finger to dab some product on my skin. Then with the same ring finger I blend it in. It goes on well, dries quickly & matte. I have used the powder that comes with it and it does make a difference. Regular translucent powders and matte powders just doesn't really keep it on all day. The powder that comes with it is a little yellow, which in all of them the are but goes on relatively translucent and makes the concealer stay on all day and night!
If I could, I would buy it over. Totally worth the money for 4 blushes. they are small but such great quality & tavel convenient. The 4 colors: angelic: a perfect highlighter color! stellar: a darker with glitter tan blush. Can work as a contour color or just a color to bring some light and depth into the face magic: a coral matte color. LOVE fantastic: my FAV from this set, the perfect pink that lasts all day!
Primer/ Corrector -Make Up For Ever - HD Microperfecting Primer in 0 Neutral

I completely agree with the previous review. I got a small sample and really liked how i smoothed out my skin and made foundation glide on. It def made my makeup stay on longer but having been exposed to MUFE's bottles, I'm not a big fan of not knowing how much product is left and that the pump is really hard to use when you get to the bottom of the bottles. I would want a bigger sample to try and give it another shot.
Scrubs -Soap and Glory - Flake Away Spa Body Polish
mandiluk 1/4/2013 9:43:00 PM
oh! Soap & Glory Flake Away, you smell sooo good! This is a fine scrub, that's a little liquidy. When you open the package you immediately can smell its sweetness. I'm a big fan of Lush's Ocean Salt, but hated always having to mix it and...the cost of it. Flake Away is more reasonable and correct me if I'm wrong, a bigger container. Smells great and leave no residue. My skin feels super soft!
really? all the bad reviews...mines is good...? I had a small little bottle from one of Sephora's VIB rewards gift things. And I really liked it. So I went ahead and brought the 9$ bottle. The brush, is what really made me purchase the top coat cause I love opi's brushes and I just needed a no chip top coat. You have to be patient. You will also have to be light handed so that you don't get a gloop of polish on your nails cause it will happen. Yes, there are def def DEF other top coats that work just as well if not better. It's not the first I would recommend or repurchase.
My second MAC eyeshadow and once again a great one to have in anyone's makeup collection / set / go to face product. Whatever you have or use, I highly recommend this. It's a very light beige almost pink with what looks to me like gold frost. At least that's how it looks like in the pan. So let's not get the wrong idea, you don't see any gold when you place it on your eye; it's a frost so it does on pretty sheer. I've had times where I went a little overboard. But completely managable and can be easily corrected. I think it's great when you just want a wash of color over your lids and just give your eyes some glam.
Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Palty Hair Colour - Raspberry Macaron
mandiluk 1/1/2013 9:34:00 PM
I'm a first time hair dyer and absolutely fell in love with this color. I tried to use loreal's hair dye and it just didn't work. After more research and suggestions from friends, I finally got to try raspberry macaron. Loved the color! Since my hair is very dark and has natural highlights, it came out very brown and hints of red reflected off strands. I followed the instructions in the box, it was simple, just like any other box dye. The mixture itself did not smell. In fact, even when I had it in my hair, it didn't stink up the room or anything, so I'm super happy about that. Def recommend to first time hair dyers and to all the girls with dark black hair like me!
As a newbie to dry shampoo, I really like this one. It goes on white and you have to wait a little bit before you brush your hair. I think it works better than oscar blandi's, so def save some money and purchase this one instead!
Really? I'm very surprised at the reviews. I recieved this as a little sample? maybe even deluxe sample from sephora and was super excited to try it. I'm a big lancome mascara and eyeshadow lover. The primer is clear and goes on clear. It's very liquidy and goes on very light. You won't even notice that it's on your face. But, as a primer, it disappointed me. I wanted it to just keep my foundation on, and no touch ups. But it didn't make a difference if there was la base pro or not. Still needed to touch up.
Cleansers -The Body Shop - Camomile Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover
mandiluk 12/20/2012 10:16:00 PM
I think I have a love hate relationship with this product. I bought a smaller version of this product and really enjoyed it. It didn't sting my eye, no residue and cleaned my eyes (water proof mascara, gel eye liner, pencil eyeliner and eyeshadow) off very well. But over time, it would sting my eye. So I stopped using it, forgetting how it sting my eyes and used it again after a few weeks of not using it. Once again, figuring out why I stopped using it in the first place, it started to sting my eyes. Needless to say, this cycle repeated until I finished using up the little travel bottle. Sorry camomile, you made me sad.
Shampoo -Oscar Blandi - Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray
mandiluk 12/18/2012 10:02:00 PM
gah! why didn't i read any reviews before trying this product! I bought this because the sales lady sold me on the oscar bland dry shampoo, the one in the white bottle and the product comes out like a powder, and she claimed that it would be a good combo to have. I bought the little travel version to try. Time and time again, I followed the directions - to spray, wait to dry, and tousle hair and didn't follow directions, just spray and tousle hair, it never worked. Very disappointed.
